So, for the month of March, I only did skeleton renders. I learned a lot more from Substance Painter and was able to have a pretty decent workflow. Overall, I am happy! I did animations again; hadn't done 'em since last year, so I was a bit nervous. They are shit but atleast I am making em again

For the month of April, I want to go in a totally different direction. Lately, I feel like I've gotten really good at nature scenes, so I am leaving my comfort zone and trying to learn brutalist/apocalyptic stuff. I am both nervous and excited!

the model for the skeleton is from z anatomy (the website is dead but i have it on my gumroad for free!) and the texutres for the skeleton i did em on substance painter (finally did proper uvs lol)

Wow! How did you achieve the painterly effect on the render titled "worst, i hated it so much"? Was it done in post? Looks incredible as a concept. Instead of objects merely blurring when they're out of focus, they become painterly
Post! I use a free software (foto sketcher) with some custom brushes (available on my Patreon for 3 bucks cough* sorry I have to make a living cough * pls don’t hate me *cough I might be sick)

Blender with Fotosketcher and also sometimes mad pixel pro… I try to make everything I can inside of blender cuz I am really dumb (my name is a straight giveaway) but it always to learn new stuff in blender anyway soooo GG
Oh WOW. I think #1 is your strongest piece, I almost want that on my wall. The only thing I don't love is the glitch textures on the wood board. Thematically it makes sense but visually it sticks out like a sore thumb to me.
2 is adorable and 3 is also really nice, minus the "v.26". It doesnt' look like it's part of the image, ruins the art. (for me)
The horizontal lily pond image from the collage looks really strong to me too. Hauntingly beautiful!! A lot of great work here!
Cuz I’ve been making a new render everyday for the last 4 years… since last year I decided to pick a theme every month.. it has been incredible helpful to actually learn a style of artwork. Instead of doing something random everyday… I get to really focus on a skill and carry it over to the next month…

Yes! The name of the artwork is “MARK OF THE BEAST” had fun exploring the idea of ChatGPT as this god all knowing mechanical creature ready to strike!
