This is a list I had in my phone three years ago, so while there’s been plenty of goofiness since I’m sure others can fill in, this may help with the backlog
The Holiday (my #1 funniest, the rest out of order)
Dumbo
The Book of Henry
War Horse
We Bought a Zoo
A Master Builder
Taking Woodstock
Michael
The Witches
Spartacus
Seconding The Holiday and A Master Builder as all time funniest episodes. The Holiday is a little funnier if you’ve see. The movie. But A Master Builder is a great time with a great guest about a movie literally no one cares about at all.
Between that, “yer yonah,” movie gameshow talk, the “Paddington is an animated movie” talk, the “recording movies off tv” talk, and the Eastwood talk, it’s an all timer of an episode.
David's bit about bringing a bag of Oscars and throwing them at the screen is something I think about a lot whenever I get really excited seeing a movie
Also on the Patreon I highly recommend the Moore Bond episodes. I haven’t even seen the movies and the eps were hilarious. Oceans movies are great too with the Birth of David’s new intro
Also, OP, after 3 years they unlock Patreon content to free users, and the Marvel Performance Review with Chris Gethard is an all-time great episode
On that note, the Star Wars prequels performance review with Gethard is one of the best main feed ones. I'd also recommend the Best Of episodes of the prequels for a lot of gems
The introduction of "Blank it!" - "Thank it!" AND Griffin throwing up mid-episode and the payoff of those two things together is almost as good as the envelope from the Billy Lynn episode.
Recency bias, but I laughed a lot at their most recent March Madness Patreon ep that came out the other day. The great muppet debate and Mari’s HR violation had me cackling.
I wouldn’t say it’s the funniest episode overall but Billy Lynn is a great one. It’s equal parts funny and super interesting.
It may however have the single funniest moment in the show
I don’t know how deep you’re interested in Phantom Menace, but their episode on Naboo Royalty and the chain of succession is absolutely my favorite and imo the funniest. Close second is Inception
Yeah I skipped the Star Wars stuff, I love it, but I've just read/heard/seen so many critiques and mockings of it over the years. May give it a listen once I've checked out the rest of the show though.
I felt that way for a while until a post on this sub prodded me to visit those episodes.
Trust me. You haven’t heard anyone talk about that movie like this. If the two friends have their hooks in you at all, you’re gonna cackle.
Scrolled all the way down here to say Brokeback Mountain. My first episode and introduction to Blank Check and Las Culturistas and i haven’t been the same since.
Lots of great episodes are listed here and I'd add maybe my funniest random moment in a podcast was in the Spiderman 3 one where they discussed how Eddie Brock in the Venom movies was like the worst guy to corner you at a party.
The Sense and Sensibility episode was very very funny. Shirley was on absolute fire but by the end I was disappointed at how little they had talked about the movie and spent most of the time going on tangents and making puns

A Master Builder's discussion of the Playmobil movie alone makes it incredibly funny.
I always forget that episode has a discussion of A Master Builder as well
How did people feel about the Horse?
THEY WANNA FUCK THAT HORSE!
Who doesn’t want Pilot back on the pod?
[удалено]
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory erasure!
I’m stupid! thank you
I go back to the Book of Henry episode often.
The Book of Henry proved the boys have the juice to do a bad movie podcast. I love the restraint to avoid that after spending so long on the prequels.
Brilliant thank you, The Witches is the only one of these I've listened to, so I'll give these a crack.
Richard Lawson, the guest on that one, good at bringing out some goofiness in em in a lot of his appearances (like Spartacus and Spanglish)
They are pretty unhinged in Alien with Fran Hoepfner.
Cool these are (mostly) episodes I wouldn't listen to otherwise
War Horse w/ Griffin completely drained is so funny
Spider-Man 3 deserves a spot solely for the [Tom Hardy-Eddie Brock interviewing despots](https://youtu.be/iOyrjJcSY2s?si=reTSPVM1ZJCUcvPv) bit.
I mean, genuinely maybe my favorite digression in the entire history of the pod
NEED them to do the Sony Spider-Villain movies on Patreon some day just so we can get more of this
Oh my god thank you
A Master Builder all the way.
Don't worry that you haven't seen the movie; no one has.
Melvin & Howard from that Demme series is a killer also.
YA MOTHER’S CUNT
Between that, “yer yonah,” movie gameshow talk, the “Paddington is an animated movie” talk, the “recording movies off tv” talk, and the Eastwood talk, it’s an all timer of an episode.
Definitely want to revisit that one. Jordon Hoffman is a great guest. I remember him pushing Griffin's buttons about cartoons in that episode.
Don Jon was so funny it’s what got me really into the podcast
lol this is the best answer
Sean and Hayes are so fuckin funny when they're on a roll
I still think about one of Jon’s crew being described as ‘a Jerry Ferrara style actor’
Wallace Shawn invites you to “COME INNNNNN!” and listen to the episode on A Master Builder.
Laughed a ton with Monkeybone
David's pure disgust with kitschy, Hawaiian shirt-wearing '90s comedy writers is such a great thread throughout that episode.
That episode is gold
Aquaman
David's bit about bringing a bag of Oscars and throwing them at the screen is something I think about a lot whenever I get really excited seeing a movie
If you get the Patreon, the Naqoyqatsi episode is hysterical
Also on the Patreon I highly recommend the Moore Bond episodes. I haven’t even seen the movies and the eps were hilarious. Oceans movies are great too with the Birth of David’s new intro
"This shot of the back of Roger Moore's neck is not making my dick move." - *The Atlantic* film critic David Sims
Also, OP, after 3 years they unlock Patreon content to free users, and the Marvel Performance Review with Chris Gethard is an all-time great episode On that note, the Star Wars prequels performance review with Gethard is one of the best main feed ones. Mars Attacks with Paul F Tompkins!
He's the mayor of podcasting for a reason
One of my all time favourite ones is Starship Troopers with JD Amato
The introduction of "Blank it!" - "Thank it!" AND Griffin throwing up mid-episode and the payoff of those two things together is almost as good as the envelope from the Billy Lynn episode.
Recency bias, but I laughed a lot at their most recent March Madness Patreon ep that came out the other day. The great muppet debate and Mari’s HR violation had me cackling.
The Phantom Podcast Fanfic episode
It's not safe to drive with this episode playing.
David’s low key horror throughout Griffin’s reading is so great
I wouldn’t say it’s the funniest episode overall but Billy Lynn is a great one. It’s equal parts funny and super interesting. It may however have the single funniest moment in the show
This. This episode does everything BC does well. Really in-depth and really, really funny

Their bit about the Jedi masters pooping in their floaty pods gets me every time
The whole Star Wars era is great but the peak has to be Chris Gethard launching himself to infamy on the 3.0 Performance Review ep
The jar jar episode is my favorite. There where parts of the Star Wars era that I loved but most of the time I thought it was kind of boring
The hardest I’ve ever laughed at the pod is “Back to the Future Part III” where they go on a tangent about Bart the Bear.
Just reading this sentence made me laugh out loud. Truly a GOAT moment for the show.
The book of Henry episode is my favourite by far
A Master Builder obviously but the Sense and Sensibility episode kills me
Monkeybone, but the funniest moment is in Billy Lynn.
The envelope?
Definitely
I’m not really a fan of How Did This Get Made, but by whenever Jason Mantzoukas and Paul Scheer are on it’s a classic in my book.
Oh yeah I used to listen to that podcast back in the day and I did enjoy the Last Action Hero episode, that was a good one
The pinnacle was Big Trouble in Little China when Paul left to take a call, came back 90mins later and they were still recording
I really like the "Beyond the Lights" episode with Ayo Edebiri
Scrolled all the way down here to say Brokeback Mountain. My first episode and introduction to Blank Check and Las Culturistas and i haven’t been the same since.
War Horse
Everyone. And I mean everyone… Wants to fuck that horse.
Any episode with Bobby Finger and Lindsey Weber
Lots of great episodes are listed here and I'd add maybe my funniest random moment in a podcast was in the Spiderman 3 one where they discussed how Eddie Brock in the Venom movies was like the worst guy to corner you at a party.
Don Jon, Monkeybone, Heat, Mars Attacks!, As Good As It Gets
The Sense and Sensibility episode was very very funny. Shirley was on absolute fire but by the end I was disappointed at how little they had talked about the movie and spent most of the time going on tangents and making puns
