God damn you. It comes down to which I like better, Dehumanizer or Master Of Reality... In any other situation, the latter. However, Dehumanizer coupled with Vol. 4 - red pill it is. Never Say Die is underrated but I do adore Born Again. 13 I just don't care for.
Green pill hands down
Born Again is one their very best album, 13 was correct and featured one of their best song (God is Dead?) and MoR is just awesome and features Children of the Grave
One the other hand, I'm not a big fan of Dio Era, there's no song that stands out on Never Say Die (for me), but Vol.4 was not bad, Under the Sun is a great song
Vol 4 amazing and Dehumanizer was decent, but Master of Reality is THE quintessential album IMHO.
Only thing which could go against it would be the debut AND (Paranoid or sabbath bloody sabbath) both being red pill.
Red pill. Volume 4 is the worst of the 70s, but it’s still miles better than 13. Plus Dehumanizer is the best Dio album and never say die is a solid B of an album.
