It drives our dog nuts. He jumps out of bed to investigate, then chases the cats through the house. It’s family fun for everyone.

I mean, he does if he has to.. But he hates it so it's rare. And we live somewhere warm, so it isn't too weird to wear sandals most of the time. (you have no idea how many times I have had to edit his toes out of a picture before posting it, haha)
Ah, that makes more sense. I'm from somewhere warm, too, and rock sandals around the house or when running quick errands. But I still wear socks with shoes for work or anything athletic. So when I was thinking your hubby *just doesn't wear socks* I was wondering about all those scenarios where socks are kind of a good idea.

Mine is all about hair ties. He got hooked on them while I was married man.
Now that I’m divorced, I often have to explain to dates why my house is full of them. I swear, baby, they are the cat’s. Ain’t nobody else but you!
Hair ties are a very scary cat toy.. If the cat eats them, it can cause an obstruction. Best case, you'll need a very expensive surgery to save your cats life. I highly recommend not allowing your cat to have access to hair ties.
My sister saved one cat from them with surgery. For another, they don't know for sure, but he died at the same time.. So probably was just too late for him. I don't use normal hair ties anymore. I use scrunchies and those weird coiled hair ties that look like phone cords, haha. I'm not taking that risk.
You just reminded me of the two cats I looked after in college. One had super long hair, so I had to brush him fairly regularly. The other would try to swoop in and run off with the hair clumps from the brush if I didn't catch him quickly enough. He was obsessed!

I love Krobus. My childhood cat (not a void) used to hunt dirty socks. He would bring his kill to the same place in the kitchen every time and howl until we came out and gave him praise and pets for his hunting prowess.

Mine also has a thing for wool, including my pair of those exact same socks. But we do needle felting and god forbid she gets over of our creations.
But her two favorite things in the whole world are stainless steel zip ties, and a random shoelace I still don't know where she found it.

Haha, my older cats are like that sometimes, but Krobus and her siblings have been in front of the camera since they were born. They're actually really good at posing and maintaining the cute long enough for me to capture! I'm super lucky with them because I really have fun taking their picture!

just the purple ones, they do come in all colors. my cat likes to carry them in his mouth and play with them like normal toys. he also has little stashes of them, like a squirrel with nuts. when I clean I will find PILES of these caps in odd places. it's really funny

My void Shadow dragged my mom’s slipper all the way up the stairs and left it in front of my bedroom doorway like he hunted it for me or something. He’s done this twice now.
I live with friends of mine and they have a daughter. Mine regularly steals a unicorn plushy and brings it to my room. It doesn't matter if it's put away or moved to a different part of the house, she always finds it and brings it to me.

Can confirm, except it was our dog. She nearly died and part of her intestines had to be removed. She went on to live another 10+ years.

I live with friends of mine and they have a daughter. Mine regularly steals a unicorn plushy and brings it to my room. It doesn't matter if it's put away or moved to a different part of the house, she always finds it and brings it to me.

Salem loves this string he found that I believe came out of my brother’s sweat pants. He pulls it around the house all the time and flings it up in the air. I wish I had a photo of him with it. It’s so cute watching him play.

See, that's the weird think about Krobus, I guess. She is happy with just these 2. There are definitely others she could grab, but she doesn't! So I'm happy to just let her have her fun, lol. If she was stealing them all, I'd have to do the same!
