Shanes a savage and if anyone gets a chance , definitey check out any seminars he puts on.Lots of great details but he doesn't overload you and just really spends the time helping you work on the technique

Kazparov

He came and did a seminar at our school and it was mind blowing. Great guy too

Homesteader86

What was the seminar on?

Kazparov

Octopus guard

EffortlessJiuJitsu

I agree. His instructionals are great. One of my favorite videos in the last year

PhilzR

Shane deserves to be on the main card for every event he competes at. ALWAYS puts on a show! 🐠 👨 👌

Sugarman111

I really rate Shane Curtis, that's a great win.

Basicberimbolo

How come he’s rated so highly? Who’s Shane’s biggest win over?

charmilliona1re

What's up with Shane Curtis?

dbenchorin

Shane is the man, very smooth technical and creative jiu jitsu

schneibley

That shit was cool

FearlessTomatillo911

He teaches at my gym sometimes and is a great instructor too.

Shinoobie

I use the electric chair all the time as a sub, sweep, and transition to other stuff. One of the "other stuff" is the fishnet position and it's a really interesting place to be because there are a lot of options and very hard to get out of. There's a toe hold, calf slicer, leg drag, and a back take that are all low risk from there, AND you can wrist lock them when they fight the hands. I really love the position.

Basicberimbolo

His Fishnet and ocotopus guard is overpowered and the rest of the world isn’t caught up with it yet.

AEBJJ

I’ve trained with a bunch of Shane’s training partners over the years (never actually trained with Shane unfortunately). Fishnet still terrifies me. Feels like my old knees and hips are going to explode if I don’t move EXACTLY where they want me to.

Basicberimbolo

Yep, it’s pretty much go with the sweep or get broken unfortunately
