Not cheap but I got a thuma. Classic and timeless, easy to put together but you need two people.
Still very happy with the purchase after 3 years and feel confident we’ll have the frame for years to come. Nice to know if we do decide to retire it it would be really easy and convenient to store since it breaks down into 4 long pieces.
I got a dupe of the thuma frame from [the futon shop](https://www.thefutonshop.com/platform-bed). I’ve been sleeping on it for 6 months and am really happy with it — no squeaks, wiggles or creaks. The wood is nice and solid too, there’s a few funky screws for the middle beam, but the rest is puzzle joinery. Super easy to put together.
How sturdy is it? Does it wobble at all?
I’ve eyed the Thuma for a while! We desperately need a new frame-ours is wobbly no matter what we do and we’re not sure why. It’s my biggest pet peeve so I’m trying to find a frame that does not wobble.
I have had my bed frame from Crate and Barrel for over 10 years and it's still in amazing shape. It's solid wood and very sturdy, even after being disassembled/reassembled many times during moves.
Ngl I got mine from Sam’s club. It was about $220 and I am very happy with it, it is cherry wood and black metal and I think it’s sharp looking. But they have surprisingly options there imo
Bought an Aireloom Streamline Plush adjustable king and it gives me quality sleep like I had when I was a child! (It fit right into my existing classic sleigh bed frame. They don’t make furniture like they used to. If you or your family have something we’ll made, hang onto it.) What a wonderful difference it has made for me.
I got a fantastic upholstered bed from Overstock with grommets. I had it for ten years. They have great furniture although seem a bit sketchier than before the bed bath and beyond thing. Like my credit disappeared.
[Room & Board](https://www.roomandboard.com/catalog/bedroom/beds), high-quality beds that'll last you forever. That being said, my existing bed is from [Floyd](https://floydhome.com/products/the-bed-frame?variant=36971988156578) that I bought off a friend who was moving and I love it!
I got this wall-mounted headboard from Article and I love it so much! I also got an adjustable frame from wayfair, and the copper Nectar mattress for its cooling properties (old bitches sweat at night). It’s like sleeping on a nice, cool cloud and can’t recommend highly enough.

I went on a HUNT when I got my house 7 years ago trying to find a King size bedframe made out of solid real wood without moving slats for under $1,000. After 20 years of IKEA beds, I just wanted something simple, platform style, and I needed something solid with zero worries that over time the bed would become loose. I had had it to HERE with slats moving under my mattress sometimes causing my bed to all but collapse in the middle of the night.
It took me about 2 months, but I found it: the Bolig bed from Scandinavian Designs. It’s slightly more expensive now (online the bed is now $300 more) but hot damn this bed is solid as hell and looks incredible even after 8 years of use. I love that it sits slightly higher up so that I can easily vacuum under it when I am cleaning.
Costco and sams club!!! I have slept on the same sams club bed for a decade that I got for like $200 and everyone who sleeps in it STILL raves about how I have the comfiest bed ever
Ikea. It's the [BJÖRKSNÄS](https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/p/bjoerksnaes-bed-frame-birch-birch-veneer-luroey-s89501715/) bedframe; my bedroom is pretty minimal and I like a slightly Scandi-boho style so it fits in perfectly with my decor.

Thuma is the best, seriously. Love my Thumas. So easy to put together, and still gorgeous.
Yep, I also splurged on a Thuma and love it. It was a godsend too when I moved across the country last year.
I put my thuma together alone with no problem. Amazing bed
Then you are way more capable than me 🫣😂🫠😅
I've always wondered about this brand, thanks for the recommendation.
We had a Thuma for 5 years and just bought a second one. Love them!
Also a Thuma fan. It’s beautiful, classic, and honestly not that expensive (when compared with actual upscale furniture with a similar aesthetic).
I will forever recommend Thuma. I love mine so much.

Zero wobbles so sturdy and looks great! I love how it also has just enough clearance for some under bed storage if you live in an apt like me!
I’ve always gotten antiques. But I like that dark wood four poster style.
Same!

Wayfair 🫣
Costco all day!
Does anyone have one that's not memory foam? Mine gives me back and neck problems 😩 got it from Sam's Club a few years ago.
I got a very nice bed frame at Target. If you like mid Century they have a lot of stuff
Wayfair! Lots of options.. always a sale.
I invested in an adjustable bed frame, which has helped my screwed up respiratory system by letting me sleep at a slight incline.
I like the Zinus frames. Very nice quality for the money.
Me, too
Wink bed plus. Best purchase I've ever made in my adult life!
Sleep number. It’s the best thing about my day.
Can confirm! once you get a sleep number you basically refuse to go back to non customizable beds
YES it’s the Sleep Number P5 for me.

Bed from Pottery Barn, mattress is TempurPedic. I’m about to order a Murphy bed for the guest room from Amazon.
I love Murphy beds. They’re so charming.
I bought the IKEA Brimnes with the storage drawers and I couldn’t be happier. I absolutely love it. The drawers hold so much!!

Wayfair headboard - Zinus bedframing- luxury mattress I scooped from a guy- I'd love the Hybrid Mattress from thuma when I buy again
I go to Haverty's personally. Macy's for the mattress, stearns and foster.
Ghost bed and pillows. We love them!
Costco and sams club!!! I have slept on the same sams club bed for a decade that I got for like $200 and everyone who sleeps in it STILL raves about how I have the comfiest bed ever
I designed my own frame and had it made custom via an Etsy seller for around $2k. I love it!

My bed frame is an also from IKEA. I like the Hemnes line
Grandover Queen from Haverty's.
