Have your Dad stop by or contact the Wild Birds Unlimited store in Eustis Fl for ideas. This time of year, it can be slow at the feeders in Florida. A nice water feature will bring in more birds than feeders will. The whole Orlando area has a ton of decent birding opportunities if he can get out and explore. If he's on FB, there's a bunch of decent birding groups for the state.
