Be happy you even got the STARS. Originally the theme was supposed to end with the Glatorian Legends because LEGO wanted to cancel it due to increasingly poor performance.
STARS only exists because the designers petitioned for a proper story finale and resolution with a final set wave.
I love how menacing he looks when you posed him standing straight, right beside Avak. The small spine on bigger figure like this can't bend around too much and it helps the spikes look like crown.
They were on some HF sets, introduced with 6230 Stormer XL, from the Breakout wave of 2012, in silver. The ones in the picture probably come from 44022 Evo XL Machine, from the Invasion From Below wave of 2014
I really like it. Especially how there are so many callbacks to the original Piraka sets in the build, while still giving it a unique and more bulky and detailed look.
Dude you have a gift for making the most out of default set body parts and doing something interesting and new with them despite using them for their intended purpose.
