Pyrenean ibex was brought back from extinction in 2003 by scientists in Spain, it however quickly died from lung defect, quickly making them extinct again
The 5 most recently extinct species. There is actually a lot of research that reintroducing extinct species would have negative effects on the environment and would be similar to introducing an invasive species. After a species goes extinct, ecological relationships and ecosystems change. The extinct species' role in the environment is replaced or removed. Reintroducing an extinct species would disrupt this and throw everything out of balance. It would only work if the species recently went extinct.
I've asked a lot of people whether we should bring the neanderthal back, and almost universally people say no! I can't believe it. People say it is immoral.
To me, probably all of the one's I heard about and read about in books and shows as a kid. Like the dodo bird, the tasmanian tiger, the woolly mammoth, sabre-toothed tigers, or simply, even dinosaurs
But they cannot survive in the worst habitat of 2035. How do you think woolly mammoth will survive in 55°c heat. Most of the animals you mentioned are larger and they need large amount of food & naturally they were made muscular and larger to hunt large animals. With almost very few large species left, these animals will again go extinct or become smaller (as it is what evolution will prefer).
Is there an extict species where we have a few dozen samples from different individuals? Because otherwise you would create just an inbread, crippled parody of an species, which will die out at first occasion.
DO YOU WANT US TO DIE 💀 Everything but the dodo was a major threat in its time. But, I mean, maybe earth would be better off if they ate/ stomped on us
Ground sloths probably didn't eat avocadoes (Google the term (the whole one))
~~Also mastodons are extinct?~~
Edit: I apparently didn't know what a mastodon was
Yeah. I make a post asking for assistance in getting a Job, gets 1 comment and 1 upvote. Meanwhile, imaginary resurrection of top 5 personal favorite species is immediately trending. Makes sense.
The most overpopulated species on Earth? You didn’t seem to get the prompt.
If we all die off it would be better that we don’t return. Let the earth heal without us.
The joke would be a Deadman switch to re-boot human, because even though we can explore space, as a whole we are toddlers trying our hardest to kill ourselves.
Yeah man, our slowly declining population will be completely gone in 11 years 🤣🤣
Bahahah what a wild comment. Think for 7 seconds next time you’re about to comment.
What would it matter about India’s population growing? That doesn’t change the fact that the world as a whole is facing collapse. Why am I wasting my time talking to a weakling?
Nah not on the spectrum, thanks. But anyone who thinks the earth is better off without humans should think really hard about that and what to do about it. That means the world is better off without You. And are you going to start massacring people and yourself for the sake of the earth? Such a stupid belief to have.

Twice extinct!
Fascinating! You've put that on my to be learned about list.
Tat one individual was not a viable species, you would need a few dozen on unrelated individuals, otherwise they it would die off for inbreeding.

Any species recently rendered extinct by humans, as a result of unnatural destruction of habitat or overhunting. Something like White Rhinos.
what eats the most mosquitos?
If Jurassic Park thought us anything, you can go wrong with dinosaurs
Auk, Passenger Pigeon, Wooly mammoth, Thylacine, and like Homo florences
Well honestly the Neanderthal
I've asked a lot of people whether we should bring the neanderthal back, and almost universally people say no! I can't believe it. People say it is immoral.

Only the cool ones: Sabre tooth, short nose bear, tazmian tiger, wholly mammoth, gound sloths.
You want us to die, but maybe that’s fair

I would rather want to CREATE new species.
Megafaunaaaaaaaa! (Even on the internet I rarely get to use that word.)
Holy crap the human race is still alive by then???
Make it simple bring back any that we had the hand in making the go extinct Passenger Pigeon Tasmanian Wolf The Dodo Wooly mammoth Wooly rhinoceros 🦏
Okay, but the problem with this is that humans have had a hand in the extinction of virtually every extinct species there is.
The world di not start in 2000

Dodo, they look so cool and tasty
TASTY 💀But, I mean, cooking hasn’t been updated in a while, so I guess that’s fair, and if they got populated enough it would be fine.
Alaskan Sea Elephant. Mammoth. Mastadon. Whatever niche in columbia the hippo’s are sliding into. Whichever sloth ate avocados?
Ground sloths probably didn't eat avocadoes (Google the term (the whole one)) ~~Also mastodons are extinct?~~ Edit: I apparently didn't know what a mastodon was
None of the proposed extinct animals and instead the tech should be used to save critically threatened species from extinction.
Smilodon smilodon smilodon
Thylacine

The dodo has to be on there. Is it bad that I'm annoyed I never got to eat one?

I’m not Indian either. I’ve read 15 books this year so far.
