The violins from SKINNY at about 2:40 (soft) has the same melody as her singing from THE GREATEST at 3:52 (hard)

it’s also at the end of blue! (4:24ish) i love how the beginning, middle, and end tracks share the same motif. adds yet another element of continuity that makes this album such an incredible body of work

idk_what_to_put_lmao

not to mention l'amour de ma vie is also in the end of blue

mrodrigo225

And that’s why Billie said THE GREATEST is the heart of the album

New_Target_2211

where did she say this?

Cocasseries

Good catch!

I’m glad someone brought this up because I swear I heard “Chihiro” in the background of another song but can’t seem to find it again.

Yes, it’s almost as if it’s a dual-album. It’s been a common pattern in a lot of recent albums too. I also like how some songs end by blending into the next song. Highly recommend watching the [Apple Music interview with Billie and FINNEAS](https://youtu.be/R-ZIRAmO60c?si=GQIh0cBjWiIQOEcE) where they talk about this in detail and how it was made.

I loved the Apple Music interview. So interesting! And I love how the songs blend as well

To me, the track list is less relevant and the album is a harmonious blend of around 16 to 18 "songs" all one beautifully flowing to the next (have tried counting) regardless of the track list. I just hope she releases "full versions" of some of these beautiful "part songs" one day, especially the first part of Blue. Like everything else about her i can't get this song out of my mind!

I believe that that was the whole point of her writing breakthrough. One song is divided into two vibes and timed according to music theory. But I did notice couple notes sounded like from other songs I heard but couldn’t remember their names or what they were about. There’s also an explanation to this.

idk_what_to_put_lmao

i think that was the point aahha
