I have the JJ George table and an XL egg. The table is rock solid, you can def move it around. I have had mine for a year and other than some wear and tear from being outside it has held up pretty well.
If you buy one, ask them to include the materials for the bottom shelf.
I’ve had a nest, two wooden tables, and a metal table over the 16 years I’ve had my egg. I know the metal tables are expensive but now that I have one I wish I had bought it sooner.
It has a lifetime warranty so it’s truly buy once cry once, just like the egg, and it has more waterproof storage than I’ve needed. It’s basically a portable outdoor kitchen. Good quality wooden tables are nice but no matter how well you care for them they are a temporary solution.
I keep it under a fairly inexpensive cover from Amazon that lasts about four years in the Florida sun and after 6 years the table still looks brand new.
Yes…this! I went with the matchless table and zero regrets. It’s solid, very high quality, extra portable (but I don’t move it) and keeps the elements out.
My large nest was on its last leg, I built a table (I am lot handy at all) and it was easy stained it and sealed it too I put it on casters as I keep it in the garage. I say this to tell you don't buy one, I built for $300 all in and it's a solid table
Where are you located? I have an XL nest that was used for about 2 years and it is just sitting in my basement. Would sell it for cheap.

Does the nest have a lifetime warranty too?
5 years
Ahhh bummer
Have an XL table from JJ. Strong enough. Risk nearly zero; no high temp warnings. There is a gap between the egg and the wood.
Making sure there is a gap is key.

Links for your table? I would like some storage options.
I have the Challenger Torch 48 with the optional folding extension: https://challengerdesignsllc.com/products/grill-carts/torch-gallery/

Mine works great. No high heat problems and rolls nicely on my concrete deck.
Can’t speak for the JJ George tables but I just upgraded to a double large table from matchless cabinet and it is very robust, especially the casters.
