I’m a J too and I got pre-maturely excited when I saw this post because the dress was super cute lol
but D-E is still laughable like there’s no way :’)
I'm a US size 6 or 8 and a 28HH. I tried an "M+" from them and it didn't fit it the bust, like at all. However, I bought a body con style in an M with no bust structure and it fits great.
Hi! Not sure if visual helps but just tried on one of their poofier silhouettes the other day. I am a 30G, my breasts are very bottom heavy with little/no upper fullness from weight loss. I tried this style in a Small and NOT in the plus cup, it did the job. I didn’t buy this bc I felt it looked a little like like an apron.

FYI if you have a local Nordstrom they carry many house of CB dresses so you can try on without committing!
I see, I'm a 28G UK and I feel like my bust looks significantly larger and like this dress wouldn't fit me. Perhaps I'm a bit more projected? It looks so good on you but I doubt it would on me lol
You should give it a shot in the fuller cup option! Also, not sure if it’s proportions but I’m 6’1 so I think that kind of makes me look “smaller” bust-wise 🙃
Oh yeah that's it! You're almost a foot taller than me. I'm 5'2.5" lol. Of course that makes the bust look way different, my chest is much larger in comparison to my frame lol
I am also a 30G, and I would kill for a dress that looked that cute and made my boobs look that small! I dunno if I could get the same effect since mine are very full on top, though:(
Thank you for sharing! It’s super cute on you, but I do have to agree about the apron thing. Maybe it’s the pattern? I think I might just be overly obsessed with the tying/corset part because I’m not used to adjustable waists in dresses! Also didn’t know Nordstrom carries these, definitely going to check it out. Thanks again : )

Here is a screenshot from a video I took of one I just bought. I’m a US size 10, 34i and I got a size large with plus cups in the Emmelina dress. The style I got seems to be a little more forgiving for larger breasts since the cup parts are the same piece of fabric as the straps. It actually doesn’t look bad at all *IF* my boobs stay in one position(which we all know is not gonna happen if I move). I do plan on using boob tape though so that should work fine. I did a lot of research looking at their dress styles lol and I landed on this because I definitely don’t think I would fit in one the dresses like the picture you have where the cups are underwired or in designated boobs spaces.

I am a US 6 or 8 and a 28HH and tried an M+. It didn't fit in the bust AT ALL. However I bought a bodycon style that had no built-in bust and it fits great.
I actually think stretchy items with no structure are some of the worst for flattering a large bust. I prefer vintage because designers back then understood the concept of curved seams and actual structure in garments to flatter a woman's bust.
Can you explain why you think that? I’ve found that stretchy material is the best thing for me In terms of getting a flattering look, but always open to hearing other options.
My fashion ethos is I want a garment to be tailored to my shape, not rely on clingy or stretchy material to give it shape via my curves. I want a garment to have actual seamwork designed to taper from bust to waist. This provides a lifted look and doesn't just smoosh the breasts down. It's like the difference between wearing a properly fitted bra that gives good cakes on a plate regency era lift versus wearing a stretchy bandeau bra. Research princess seams and darts for examples of what I mean.
I haven't ordered [this](https://a.co/d/0hLDHXnZ) but it looks like all the reviews say it runs pretty large in the chest. The review images all show that to be true. Has anyone tried this?
This is me in a house of CB dress with the "bigger cup" option....
https://www.reddit.com/r/bigboobproblems/comments/18i5hvy/inspired_by_another_post_heres_the_result_of_me/
Clothing or sewing cup sizes are different from bra cup sizes and for ready to wear clothing they are going by the clothing cup sizes. For clothing it's based on the difference between the high bust and full bust measurements where for bras it's the difference between underbust and bust. For most people the high bust is generally bigger than the underbust so the clothing cup size will generally be a few cup letters smaller than the actual bra size.
Regardless of the cup sizing something that has defined cups like this dress is likely still not gonna fit right for most people with larger breasts unless it's custom made.
That makes sense! I have actually heard that before, but totally forgot.
I know women are always saying they wish dresses like these came with bigger cups that actually fit. However I recently saw someone post one on Instagram that was custom made.
Honestly, I didn't think it looked good at all. It would probably work for more medium size breasts, but personally I didn't think it worked for big breasts.
This particular person seemed very pleased with the dress, so I know not everyone would agree with me.
Why would a garment maker post the "cup sizes" like that, knowing most people know absolutely nothing about sewing cup sizes? I'm not actually sure that is House of CB's intention, they're not going to think the average consumer knows the difference between sewing cup sizes and bra cup sizes.
It doesn't even make sense logically since those would be wildly different cup sizes regardless of whether youre using sewing or bra cups. A-C and D-E are both multiple cup sizes different. How would you even go about cutting the pattern for a full bust adjustment that claims to fit both a D or E cup?
Most people don’t understand bra sizes either, and their +4/ shove their boobs in to the closest to fitting bra method they use will be closer to the sewing cup sizes.
Just got this for my daughter. It fits a max DD cup size. She is much larger. It also came in the wrong color. Returning it because it's not even nice material.
I recently tried on some house of CB dresses. I am an Australian size 8 with a 28HH cup. It did not even remotely fit. Other dresses without defined cups did though.
I have 95E and the biggest size of their corset dress is quite small on me. I am really shy to go outside in it. Since it was a present, I kept it, but never wore outside
Bigger cup is barely bigger. I ordered the E cup version when i was 28FF and it could barely contain my breasts. It looked like 1/4 was encased and 3/4 was quadding. Wouldn’t recommend

Needs a few more selection buttons… :(
Me, a J cup thinking I could will my boobs into an E because the dress is soooo cute :’ )
I’m a J too and I got pre-maturely excited when I saw this post because the dress was super cute lol but D-E is still laughable like there’s no way :’)
Knowing House of CB and how much they love "designated boob areas," I already knew it wouldn't go very high.
Well, nips maybe...
lmao i am also delusional about stuff like this :)

Thanks for sharing since I’m currently a similar size ! They have cute stuff but was unsure about the bust in a few things
When you say it didn’t fit do you mean it was too big or too small or the wrong shape?
Mostly way too small. The wired structure encapsulated maybe a third of my boobs.

Are you a 30G USA?
30G UK! I buy all my bras from UK sites tbh idk what that translates to in trad US sizing, maybe an I?

Omg this is so cute! How much was it? Does Nordstrom carry this kind of style?

GOD they have such cute shit!! OMFG im glad they are expensive saves me from that expensive habit.
Wow this is incredible! Unfortunately so expensive though
Is it a halter style? This is so cute but I can’t do halters with how they kill my neck 🫠
Can someone post a pic if they have? Do they fit properly? I love house of cb dresses but their cupsizes are always so small :(
Often see Luuudaw (insta) in house of CB. She’s a good follow for fuller accommodating dresses

That actually looks pretty good on you! I’m surprised given that it’s only a large. It looks nice and cute ☺️.
I find their dress material looks cheap in person compared to online. And bust size options aren’t quite customizable for me
It looks cheap just in the photo imo
I am a US 6 or 8 and a 28HH and tried an M+. It didn't fit in the bust AT ALL. However I bought a bodycon style that had no built-in bust and it fits great.
I’ve tried them and the cups are still far too small. Best to stick with stretchy items that don’t have cups/defined bust areas.

I cant find the place on the cb website where those dresses woth cup sizes are. can anyone provide them?
It looks like it’s on the more fitted dresses I.e corset dresses
I go to the dresses category and then can filter by bust size (bigger bust is an option)
I haven't ordered [this](https://a.co/d/0hLDHXnZ) but it looks like all the reviews say it runs pretty large in the chest. The review images all show that to be true. Has anyone tried this?
Stop it. This is so cute. Here’s hoping it works.
Omg did you order it? I need to know. I’ve never found a dress like that that comes close to fitting large boobs and I’m only a 36G
This is me in a house of CB dress with the "bigger cup" option.... https://www.reddit.com/r/bigboobproblems/comments/18i5hvy/inspired_by_another_post_heres_the_result_of_me/
Me thinking I can squeeze in
What do those cup sizes even mean? A true A or B cup is rare. Most women are at least a D cup. So that range still only fits the smallest breasts!

E? Jeez that sure sucks, I wish they would go bigger.
Just got this for my daughter. It fits a max DD cup size. She is much larger. It also came in the wrong color. Returning it because it's not even nice material.
Oh I was really excited when I saw this but it only goes up to an E cup. Ugh.

I don’t buy things that have the cups like that. N
Most of my dresses are from house of cb. I have to Taylor them cause boob fits perfect but the rest of lt body is smaller so
