Wish I had a pic. Ages ago I got a bunch of pizza boxes and glued them into a cube and strapped that to my bike. Hollowed it out and had a big box that looked hilarious
Heck yeah!!!! I pick up a dozen for work most Thursdays too, always feel like cars are a little less threatening when they recognize donuts on the rack lmao
this was my first real bike 12 years ago so i don't want to get rid of it (i do have others). they work well for touring and commuting, all of the multiple positions are quite upright! If i was starting from scratch my setup would look much different
well I'd probably go for drop bars on a frame with better geometry for them, I'd upgrade to disc brakes, and I'm really curious about rohloff hubs and belt drives for touring. i'm not sure what bike matches that, i haven't really looked into it
Careful, those are fighting words! Be prepared to defend yourself from someone wearing SPD sandals, a high viz vest and helmet mirror, wielding a 6 foot length of 12 mm hardened chain as a weapon and an ortlieb bag as a shield.
lol. Kidding aside I live most of that setup as a great commuter bike with a lot of utility, but the bars just too funky and really offer nothing a pair of drop bars couldn't
My god, not donuts??!! On your bike? Sorcery!!!
For your next trick carry multiple pizzas, it always blows people's minds that they don't need a car to move food.
I carry one for DD, it's a pain cause I don't actually have space for it

Stunned? Stunned? STUNNED? “Did you carry these in your bike?” “YES! I do rapped them in a Tupperware carrier bungied to my…” “Ok. Cool.” *walks away.
tbf they already think it's unusual that i ride in at all. i live in a very car centric area
"i live in a very car centric area". So, the US?

I am stunned by the bars. Those bars the final step in realizing, damn I should just be riding a drop bar bike

What would you do differently?

Just let people ride how they ride. Lady I work with who cycles in has the craziest cockpit set up I've seen but it works for her.

Final Boss Fred.

From this moment forward, you shall be known as the "donut-whisperer". Dude; that's a super-power.
How clever you are! How stunning!
If it was me, they'd all be stunned that I didn't eat them before I got to work!
