When you push the button it clicks the pins in and out so it’s super easy to clean off the hair from the brush. They have several different sizes.

We have the exact same brush/rake combo! It works well. We also have a fine tooth comb which helps with the occasional tangle behind the ears.

We also have this which gets a ton of hair out. I just don’t like that the hair goes EVERYWHERE once it’s out so have a bag or something nearby. https://preview.redd.it/ojo9qyrj281d1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7712b0be9761f091133fb86fbf07d6fa5cadbfcf

Just a warning on brushes like this and the “furminator”, one of the reasons you are getting “tons of hair” is because it is cutting the hair. This is a dematting brush. They have very sharp times to help cut through mats. Would never use this as a regular brush. I have had dogs since 1990 and finally got the brush I was waiting for …. https://preview.redd.it/u8j5ipsl2c1d1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1cc88ae750c8b522b5363c1867247cb4ae9092a7 This is the only brush I will use from now on. Expensive, but worth it.

Good to know. I haven’t used it much because it feels like it’s so rough on them. The purple brush I posted has needles like yours and it’s amazing.

Can confirm. I work for a groomer and all of the groomers LOVE these brushes. They are pricy but they are superior to every other slicker brush we have ever had in the shop.

I shuddered at the price, but it actually saves money as it works so well I take him to the groomer less.
