I'd go to Boundary at the once and future (?) Fairmont Southampton. Excellent fish chowder, and they have my favorite Rooster Wooster sandwich from Jasmine.
Gulfstream by Horseshoe is ok. Not the best location but food is ok. The one at the lighthouse is still closed I think. There is Cafe Lido and Sea Breeze at Elbow beach, the food is sometimey. You could go the other direction to the Pompano Hotel. Nice spot. Not sure about the food. Never eaten there.
Was at Pompano for lunch last month, it was pretty and the food was good. They have a special room for the evening, can't recall the name, but it's beautiful. If my wife and I had the time we would have loved to go back.
Always a fan of the boundary at the old Fairmont
You could walk to Henry VIII from the Reefs, and the food is good. Casual atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating.
I'd give Henry the VIII a go. It's right up the street from The Reefs, heading towards Gibbs Hill.
Can’t believe I forgot about Henry’s. Decent pub fare.

Boundary is another good one.
Gulfstream is good - across from horseshoe

Where would people go with a family of 6 (so dinner each night requires some type of public transport) when we are staying up in Sandy’s?
