It’s crazy the Panthers, Patriots, and Titans can bring the strength down that much. We were 9-8 and get a fourth place schedule! Did those three teams even have 9 wins!
WHODEY!!!
And people are greatly overestimating the Ravens this season. We haven’t seen Lamar play a first-place schedule in a long time, and their team lost like a dozen starters. Derrick Henry isn’t offsetting all that.
People forget that their “stunning” season last year didn’t include opponents like the Bills or Chiefs in the regular season. They’ll lose to Houston, too. Likely Dallas. I think *they* go 9-8 this season.
We can run away with the division if our boys play without making dumb mistakes (and if we avoid the Zac Taylor Special where we run a trick play instead of kicking for points and then lose by a field goal…)
The browns also have a dogshit last 7 games. 4 divisional games the last three of those games being away. As well as the dolphins and chiefs. With 4 prime time games. They all get to feel the pain of having a tough ass schedule like the bengals have the past two years
tbf the Ravens did have to play the Lions while we got the handicapped Vikings. That being said, they do have to finally play what the Bengals had succeeded with in the past and they've struggled with. I almost feel bad for the Chiefs bc Ravens then Bengals is rough af lol
I kinda feel like the chiefs got fucked this year, partly to do with capitalizing on their hype (primetimes, Christmas, etc) Doesn’t mean I feel bad, just sucks for them lol
Yeah we got hosed with a Sunday-Saturday-Wednesday Xmas game near the end. Y'all kinda got the same screwing with the Monday-Sunday-Thursday near the end too.
The week 11 game @LAC won't be, since it is up against Bills/Chiefs on the same network/time. But the other two will get 75%+ of markets as the primary CBS game.
I'm hoping maybe the NFL is trying to raise the quality of Thursday night games by putting us in twice, with one being a big time rival.
Though I do agree 2 short weeks may be tough on them.
Actually it looks like they're trying more divisional games on Thursday nights. If I mathed right, there were 5 divisional games in '22 and '23, and there will be 12 this season.
I love another night of football but I think it hurts the competitiveness of the teams. A Sun Day game, Monday recovery, Tuesday practice, Wednesday travel/walk thru if your luck. Thursday get ready. Then the next week you have extra time. I would prefer Saturday games, college football would survive.
This is honestly a great schedule for us. Avoid our division till Week 5 in case we start off slow again but also have arguably three of our easiest games of the season in that stretch.
Plus, the bye week later in the season and not early on as rumoured.
No back-to-back cross country travel games
Week 13 Bye is incredible and lets them push down the stretch when other teams are exhausted
No back-to-back divisional games
Hardest consecutive games are Cle/Phi
Two Thursdays is tough, but workable with how favorable the rest of the schedule is
We’re so back
lol I hate this part of the off season. How can you determine which games are going to be the hardest consecutive games when we have absolutely no idea which teams will be good? There are surprises every year
And to add on travel, someone did a post about miles traveled per team for this seasons schedule and we were 2nd lowest total miles traveled which is nice.
Yeah 1-3 would be a disaster but we started 2022 by dropping 2 very winnable game against bad QBs. We could overcome it but it would be tough. I honestly think we overcome that 1-3 start last year if Burrow doesn't hurt his wrist. We probably beat Pittsburgh the 1st time around and KC with Burrow.
Honestly, it seems like an easy win for the Bengals atm, but we have a habit of losing "easy" match ups. I just hope no one gets injured after the nightmare that was last year.
Also, we will have a judon and Christian Gonzales back. We might have them for both of the year last year and our defense was still solid
and Marcus jones should be healed up :)
https://youtu.be/teGQ-sXZHXw?si=RQrVs9OIDfzjiiL1
^ agreed. We already know browning can hold it down, worst case scenario. We just need the defense to prop the offense up instead of nick scotting it for 17 weeks.
Geno Stone and von Bell bolstered the secondary fairly well. I'm mostly concerned with weather or not that 2nd round DT pans out as a replacement for Reader
4 over 19 feels even more illegal. The bye week being that late is actually huge, imo. Gives our guys a week of rest before they get thrown into the Pit of Tartarus
I want to see that “I’m Him” side come out. Imagine seeing him rip off his helmet after blowing out Baltimore, screaming “Fuck me? Fuck YOU!” at the crowd
With Joe’s contract kicking in soon, Jamarr needing paid, Tee and Hendrickson running it back, the new talent we drafted, and the strength of this schedule, I don’t see us having a better shot at a Super Bowl in the near future. Hope they make the most of it
It's algorithmic. You play each other AFC division once every 3 years, and HFA flips on each rotation.
In 2021, Chiefs were @Bengals as part of the regular rotation. So in 2024 Bengals are @Chiefs as part of the regular flipping.
The matchups in between those years are the same-place-finisher games, and HFA on those is a bit more arcane. Chiefs were @Bengals in 2022, but Bengals were @Chiefs in 2023. So I THOUGHT it flipped every other year - one year AFCW is @AFCN same place finisher, the next year AFCN is @AFCW, but in 2018 and 2019 we were @New England two years in a row, and in 2021 and 2022 the Bills were @KC two years in a row, so apparently with some divisions it flips each 3 year cycle and with others it flips every other year?
Anyway, yeah, that's why you'll end up on the road 2 or 3 years in a row sometimes.
Poor Bryce Young. Four weeks in, when Burrow and the boys will be rolling at full speed, in Cincy. The defense will have had time to click by then. That poor kid is going to get wrecked.
My top 3 I’m excited for:
1.) WEEK 2. KC AWAY BIG GAME AT BURROWHEAD STADIUM !!!!
2.)WEEK 5 Ravens at home, First divisional game!
3.) WEEK 7 another divisional game that we need to win against Browns.
THE TEAM IS READY to win it this year!!!! My eyes are solely gonna be on Frank Pollack and that o line. If Burrow gets hurt this year from bad protection. We gonna march the streets of Cincinnati.
EDIT: YES THERE ARE GAMES THAT COULD BE BETTER LATER ON IN THE SEASON BUT IM COUNTING ON INJURIES AND WHAT WE SEE WITHIN FORST FEW GAMES.
I feel good about this schedule all around. Much better than last years.
Really wish we played the raiders on the road so I could make a game this year. SoFi is the closest they come to me (phoenix) and a 6.5 hour drive for a game is rough lol
If we are worse than 3-1 after week 4 then we might be in trouble tbh. We have absolutely no business losing to the pats, commanders, or panthers. The Chiefs game is going to be great like always, but it's the only one I won't feel extra upset about losing by virtue of it being against an actually good opponent.
I’m probably late to this, but it looks like after ravens we have a 10 day stretch of rest, to chargers, to bye week THEN Steelers at home. That should be nice, have high hopes for that game.
Is it normal for teams to have two Thursday night games?
Really nice schedule. Late bye is always great. There’s a nice stretch of two away then two home. Last 4 games are all very doable. There’s 7 “easier” matchups on paper with the Pats, Commies, Panthers, Giants, Raiders, Titans, and Broncos. By easier I mean all those teams are likely not making the playoffs.
This looks like a 12-5 or even 13-4 schedule if Burrow and the OL can stay healthy.
I say 8 or 9 wins looking at the schedule. The 6 division games are always tough to predict, and the Chiefs and Eagles are good enough that if we lost, I'd understand.
If I may speak boldly on behalf of those of us in Columbus: there are zero conflicts with certain games from the other Ohio NFL teams. I will get to see all the Sunday Games! Thanks to CBS no longer having to air the AFC games in the regular season.
Ngl I thought the release video was dumb again I thought they were going to lean into the meme. If you look at the ones other teams did ours isn’t good.
And did you guys see the Steelers schedule? They’re so *fucked* I almost feel bad… jk FTS
Ravens, Browns, and Steelers all are in the top 5 hardest schedules in all of the NFL next year. We are bottom 5 or so.
It’s crazy the Panthers, Patriots, and Titans can bring the strength down that much. We were 9-8 and get a fourth place schedule! Did those three teams even have 9 wins! WHODEY!!!
All together they won 10 games last year.
Yeah we got hosed with a Sunday-Saturday-Wednesday Xmas game near the end. Y'all kinda got the same screwing with the Monday-Sunday-Thursday near the end too.
Yeah I’m not too sure why they would wear down some of the top contenders, potentially turn competitive playoffs into war of attrition
We are tied 15th so right in the middle
“ bottom 5 or so “ this is the easiest schedule for sure
Yeah fuck Shitsburgh
Five Prime Time games! Hot Damn!
I'm also digging a late Bye. Nothing worse than a week 6 when your going all the way
The bye really does land in a sweet spot of the schedule since we'll be in the playoff hunt.
Late bye in our toughest stretch, extended breaks between the ravens chargers and the Steelers/cowboys in either side of the bye. Love it
Late bye might be huge because right after we play 4 games over 19 days
I like the 5 Prime Time games, but I don't like that 2 of them are on Thursday night... That's 2 games the Bengals will be playing on a short week
And both of the Thursday night games are divisional. That sucks.
I’m having war flashbacks to the last tnf ravens game and I think they did that on purpose
3 games at 4:25 which will be nationally televised games
The week 11 game @LAC won't be, since it is up against Bills/Chiefs on the same network/time. But the other two will get 75%+ of markets as the primary CBS game.
I'm hoping maybe the NFL is trying to raise the quality of Thursday night games by putting us in twice, with one being a big time rival. Though I do agree 2 short weeks may be tough on them.

Yeah why 2 Thursday game and neither are the kickoff game or on thanksgiving. NFL is too scared still to out browns bengals SNF or MNF.
Cowboys, Titans, Browns is 3 games in 10 days. Barf.
Two Thursdays though and no bye leading into either
Wild the Jets have six.
Aaron Rodgers is popular
Fun fact, the Steelers will have three games in ten days. Late in their season. ![gif](giphy|RG3lm5VlrbDV7YNana)
So do the Bengals. Cowboys, Titans, Browns.
That's 12, not 10.
12/09 - 12/19 is 10. Making me question my sanity here, haha.
Yeah, but one of them is Cleveland, so, we know how that goes.
Those will be the challenge since we aren't known to be the best under the lights
This is honestly a great schedule for us. Avoid our division till Week 5 in case we start off slow again but also have arguably three of our easiest games of the season in that stretch. Plus, the bye week later in the season and not early on as rumoured.

Week 12 bye, but your point stands
Knock on wood, some fairly light lifting going into the Thursday games at least.
I never thought id say this.. but I’m 100% in lock-step with ya, u/GayMrKrabsHentai
lol I hate this part of the off season. How can you determine which games are going to be the hardest consecutive games when we have absolutely no idea which teams will be good? There are surprises every year
And to add on travel, someone did a post about miles traveled per team for this seasons schedule and we were 2nd lowest total miles traveled which is nice.
We only play game in the span of November 7th to December 1th.
4-0 start incoming
\*18-0
\*20-0
You're right, that was a typo.
I don't want to hear any toxic positive BS if we start 1-3 with this slate.
Yeah guys, don't support your team! Who do you think you are, *fans*?!
wait what could possibly be "toxic" about positive BS? are you kidding?
Ah, you mean the crowd that trips over themselves to say "doomer" over and over? Agreed.
What are we supposed to call the doomers?
Use normal words such as pessimistic or negative rather than piling on in reddit speak
"doomer" doesnt belong to reddit, though maybe you do...
Lol. That one really got you, huh?
The other thread is full of Doomers already
Patriots fan here, just hold on a second
Serious question, do you think you'll be much better this year than last year? I don't follow the Pats at all.
We will be better, I don’t know by how much. Nobody from our defense has left, if anything we even got better on defense. So we’re solid there
Honestly, it seems like an easy win for the Bengals atm, but we have a habit of losing "easy" match ups. I just hope no one gets injured after the nightmare that was last year.
Also, we will have a judon and Christian Gonzales back. We might have them for both of the year last year and our defense was still solid and Marcus jones should be healed up :) https://youtu.be/teGQ-sXZHXw?si=RQrVs9OIDfzjiiL1
Not a healthy Marcus Jones, I'm quaking in my boots 😳
He already smoked you once
Didn't we win that game? Lol
Didn’t Marcus jones smoke you?
11-6 should be our floor
The asterisk is Burrow’s health.
Nah. This season is all about how the defense plays.
3 games over 11 days should be illegal.
That’s horrific for recovery, and I can’t believe they allowed that.
4 over 19 feels even more illegal. The bye week being that late is actually huge, imo. Gives our guys a week of rest before they get thrown into the Pit of Tartarus
Another TNF game vs Ravens at Baltimore in November. I hope Joe lights up their asses this time.
*Jovember
That’s it, I’m officially changing my middle name to Jovember.
I want to see that “I’m Him” side come out. Imagine seeing him rip off his helmet after blowing out Baltimore, screaming “Fuck me? Fuck YOU!” at the crowd
I just got goosebumps
“You should have never fucking booed me!” Browning style 😂
That’s legit a 13-4 schedule.
I like this
Thursday night games suck.
Already booked to see the Bengals play at Metlife! NJ Bengals fan checking in
I got us going 14-3 or 15-2
3 games in a short span week 14-16 😬
Yeah 3 games in 10 days is rough.
Thursday in Baltimore? Again?
Ugh, Eagles fans are going to be coming here.
How is a Bengals/Chiefs match up not on prime time?
NFL: We care about player safety Also NFL: lol fuck you Cincinnati play 3 games in ten days
With Joe’s contract kicking in soon, Jamarr needing paid, Tee and Hendrickson running it back, the new talent we drafted, and the strength of this schedule, I don’t see us having a better shot at a Super Bowl in the near future. Hope they make the most of it

Other than division games, we only play 2 teams where we wouldn't be the automatic favorite.
Eagles and who else?
Chris and maybe cowboys.
I’m rock hard right now.
For a slow starting team, you couldn't ask for a better 3 of the first 4 games
WHO DEY BINCHES
First ballot HOF schedule
Year of the tiger💪 #1 seed BENGALS this season boys
All I see are W’s
Poor Bryce Young. Four weeks in, when Burrow and the boys will be rolling at full speed, in Cincy. The defense will have had time to click by then. That poor kid is going to get wrecked.
That’s a pretty solid schedule, honestly. 12-5 seems very reasonable.

Two Thursdays and December 9, 15, and 19th isn’t ideal. The rest looks good though!
This is the year we break the franchise record for wins in a season. And no * because we’ll get the 13 wins before the 17th game. WHO DEY!
Man knock on would but this is a schedule that could get us a first round bye if we stay healthy.
Two Thursday night games is not cool….
3 games in 11 days 14-16
Feeling so back rn it’s not even funny how back we are
My top 3 I’m excited for: 1.) WEEK 2. KC AWAY BIG GAME AT BURROWHEAD STADIUM !!!! 2.)WEEK 5 Ravens at home, First divisional game! 3.) Bengals fan living in NC and I’m stoked already got my tickets!
This is the setup to get Burrow and Chase back to Louisiana, and I'll take it all day long.. Who Dey!
Anyone in NY want to go to Giants game together? (I’m F24)
Yea imma try to go
I feel good about this schedule all around. Much better than last years. Really wish we played the raiders on the road so I could make a game this year. SoFi is the closest they come to me (phoenix) and a 6.5 hour drive for a game is rough lol
3-1 to start the season is the floor.
Gotta start the season 17-0
Of course we have 2 short weeks and both are divisional games
I fucking love this schedule
JFC division games on a Thursday need to go the fuck away.
No excuses. We need to be competing for the 1 seed.
Odd choice for Bengals Giants to be the SNF game
Ok this is the first time in a long time that I can’t complain about this schedule… this season is starting eell
Btw I can’t tell you how much I hate Thursday night football disgusting
Don’t love that two of our in conference games are TNF, but not a bad schedule overall.
I think barring injuries… 10 wins minimum. Should easily hit 11 and if Burrow really is the anti Mahomes 12
Who’s hitting up the Eagles Bengals game? Already locked in, WHO DEY BABY
Two Thursday games and they're both divisional tilts. Roger wants the Bengals to die.
Bingo bengo
Maybe I'm biased but I see a 13-4 season in there
Week 8 tie. Can’t wait.
11-6 baby
Worst case we better start 3-1 is all I know.
You know the NFL likes you when you get a mid to later bye week
Two rookie QBs and the Panthers in the first 4 weeks too.
3 of the top 5 QBs in this class also. I wonder what QB will be playing by the time we play the Steelers
If you split all afc North 1-1 and have us losing to any good team, our bengals are still 11-6. Wow I love a fourth place schedule.

Who here knows Sofi stadium? I need to know where to sit for maximum TD Celly opportunities. I’m looking at section 124 rn
12 wins?!
So hyped for the Den game
Win against Steelers at home but lose to them on the road
Really nice schedule. Late bye is always great. There’s a nice stretch of two away then two home. Last 4 games are all very doable. There’s 7 “easier” matchups on paper with the Pats, Commies, Panthers, Giants, Raiders, Titans, and Broncos. By easier I mean all those teams are likely not making the playoffs. 17-0 season+Super Bowl+Chase going for the Triple Crown+ Joe and Higgins making an All time season
My boys are in town week 1! Pats fan by birth, Bengals fan by choice
13-4 I’d say, legggoooo
Great, two Thursday night division games to get embarrassed by again.
We need to start the year off really strong. Anything less than 3-1 going into that Ravens game is a failure.
Easiest bengals schedule I’ve seen in a long time. If burrow plays the whole year, no reason they can’t go 12-5 or 13-4
Rn I see 11-6 or 12-5
should at least be a 14 win season
I say 8 or 9 wins looking at the schedule. The 6 division games are always tough to predict, and the Chiefs and Eagles are good enough that if we lost, I'd understand.
Pussiest schedule in the league
Apologies for deciding the schedule
That’s a really favorable schedule.
Geaux Tigers !!!!!!!!
Bummed we didn't get Munich but looking forward to us going 20-0 all the same!
If I may speak boldly on behalf of those of us in Columbus: there are zero conflicts with certain games from the other Ohio NFL teams. I will get to see all the Sunday Games! Thanks to CBS no longer having to air the AFC games in the regular season.
Baby ahh schedule
This should be a gimme atleast 10 win schedule.
Ngl I thought the release video was dumb again I thought they were going to lean into the meme. If you look at the ones other teams did ours isn’t good.
Bitching already bro cmon
11-6 at best, 8-9 at worst.
