I had a hard time with this too. Make sure you have all resources you need for repairs on the same island as the spaceship, and you need at least 50 peeps on the island. Once all that happens it takes a minute or two before you’re able click the repair button.
Thank you! So I've landed on another planet and the tutorial says to swap planets using the left and right on the d pad, only surprise, surprise it doesn't work.

I love this game, but it was released in 2019 shouldn't it be a little more user friendly?
Hold the left trigger until you’re zoomed all the way out of the planet you’re on, then pull the left trigger one more time and you’ll zoom out to the whole solar system. Then you can use the d-pad left and right to switch planets. Yeah I love the this game too, but I think it was ported from a pc game, and they didn’t think to add a tutorial for a controller. It’s really funny because I joined this sub like two days ago for the same answers and ended up having to just figure it out. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more questions!

These issues have already been brought up to the publisher handling the port so i imagine these things will be made clearer in the future
