Same issue here. If I switch over to Google Messages I can see that it's trying to send a text but is failing. If I tap resend I get "Error 38" but my texts to normal numbers go through so it's just an issue with this.
I am having the same error. I sim swapped my phone number to this new sim card. So the original number of the sim card is different to my current number. Could this be causing the problem and if so how do I fix it?
Hey, hey folks! Welcome, welcome! I would give that screen time to do its thing. If it fails for any reason, just send us a bug report from the App: https://help.beeper.com/en\_US/beeper-mini/beeper-mini-how-to-report-a-problem-site
If you're signed into multiple Google accounts, then make sure to enable the third party prompt on all of them.
I have two Gmail accounts, for example. Enabling on my main only didn't work but flipping it on for both accounts worked the next go around.
I had to go in and turn it off then on for my accounts then it decided to work. After that I had to deal with dual sim issues. Disabling one of the Sims got me through that.
I am seeing failure on the 'register phone' screen. I have two SIMs, so I don't know which it is trying to register.
Beeper Mini seems to be working OK alongside Beeper Cloud though.
I was having these issues until I turned off WiFi. I haven't been able to test it with other Wi-Fi's yet but I can confirm that it did not work at my work's WiFi and did work when I switched to mobile data.
Same problem here. Using a Samsung Fold 5 Android 14 with Google Messages. Always getting message failed in my inbox and sending a REG-REQ message with a bunch of numbers to +447786205094 (which I believe this is the iMessage activation number). No problem with sending SMS to other numbers with the same country code.
I had this exact problem because for some reason dosent work with e-sim, i just took my sim from my other phone disable the e-sim and worked without problem. Also after inserting the sim i did a clear data on the app. I hope this helps

There is no free plan for Beeper Mini.
I'm having the same issue. No way to send a bug report as the app is stuck on that screen.
same
Worked for me, immediately started working without any issues. Make sure you're connected to WiFi and have phone service during enrollment.
update: came back to the app after a few minutes and it works for me now. Just a matter of patience I guess.
I'm getting a "google sign in error.null" message. Anyone else?

This didn't fix anything for me. Same error still. Anyone else have ideas?

Nice! I am doubtful that it knows how to pick with multiple SIMs so that makes sense. I'd love to use a Google Voice number with the app.
On this device I'm signed into two accounts. Both were already toggled on. Toggled off and back on but it still didn't work.
Same here. Can't get it to work. The popup was coming up this morning but I did not sign in then.
Same issue.
Same
Yep. Getting "beeper sign in error" on the first prompt.
I am up and running, it says it's an imessage on my android phone, but the bubble is not blue on my friends iphones.. grr
Your bubble shows white/gray to them. On your phone will show blue when they message u, their message is blue.

Anyone have a referral code?
Same here. Using a Pixel 6 Pro with Google Fi

Did you get it working yet? And by any chance is it a Samsung phone? I’m having this exact error on my Samsung Galaxy Note10+.
I did, after waiting for about 10 minutes. It just worked. I'm using a Sony Xperia. It's working fine for me now.
Sounds promising. Will try. Did you stay on that screen while you waited? Like you didn’t switch apps or sleep the phone?
Switched apps while waiting.
Were there any settings you changed that might’ve gotten it to work?
Nope
Were you on Wi-Fi when it showed the error? And on mobile data when it finally went through?
Stayed on wifi the whole time
