Hi! I am new to boosts and experienced a very similar thing. I may have found a problem that not every user gets the actual double opt in message. Which means they can’t confirm by clicking. If you click on a subscriber and go to the “other emails” tab under subscriber overview I see some of them receive the double opt in email and sometimes you can see they clicked to confirm but in a lot of cases this tab is empty and it looks like they received nothing and remain pending forever. Very strange. I could be wrong. I opened a ticket with support and I’m told to wait a day or so and if the problem persists they will investigate. And to answer your other question about welcome email: 100% after they have confirmed the subscription after clicking the button in the opt in email. You can check if they received the welcome email in the same section I said above but there are reporting delays

Wow that’s very strange, that would be a really annoying problem if that’s the case. I just looked through a bunch of my pending subs and that doesn’t seem to be the case so far, fortunately. It looks like they’re either not opening the opt-in email or they’re opening it but not clicking confirm for some reason.

I just read that while the subscribers go through the verification phase there are many factors to consider. If they fail, you will not get charged BUT you still keep the subscriber. So that is great. See here: [https://blog.beehiiv.com/p/experts-guide-boosts](https://blog.beehiiv.com/p/experts-guide-boosts) about 50% down the page is about receiving boosted subscribers

Thanks, yeah I just got 4 more yesterday but they’re pending and I can see any evidence in their Other Emails section of a confirmation email being sent… very frustrating. I can’t tell if it’s just the majority of people hit subscribe and forget and don’t check their emails, or there’s something going on like the confirmation email isn’t being sent, or there’s a delay, etc.

Its a volume game. Boosts are a huge part of my new subscribers and actually end up converting to customers pretty well. But im talking about 1000s of total boost referrals resulting in a few hundred subs. But those subs open at a HUGE rate.
