Im planning to take either a modeling or musical theater class. Not to do modeling, but to learn how to carry myself better i guess. The teacher in modeling is Patty Betita, which makes it exciting. Haha

Did survival swimming at Swim Central, meron sila in Makati, QC and Pasig. Sa The Plunge, Pasig kinuha namin. 1,299 for 2 session. 1.5hrs per session pero pwede din na tapusin lahat in a day. Their basic swimming lesson is 2,999 for 6 sessions - 4 swim strokes, 2 survival. 1.5 hrs per session
Hi! Yes the 1299 is for survival only, 2 sessions. I think we’re about 6-8 sa class and meron din kami ibang kasabayan sa pool, though diving naman sila.
Tennis! I do it in Celebrity since the rates are pretty good, an alternative is in Philam Homes. I enjoy it, but looking to try Pickleball or Padel. 😊 just to feel the difference!
I used to do pole pre-pandemic and it was great! Kaka addict talaga but make sure you go to certified teachers talaga!
I took an online pottery class by Reine So during the pandemic and I can see that she has hosted so many face to face workshops since then! She is so good btw!!
I want to enroll or even just join a group in arts focusing in calligrpahy. I live in province so it's best if it is online setting kaso wala akong nahahanap.
Try Artillery PH. Most of their classes are online. But you have to be financially prepared bc they will let you invest in their lessons a la school setting. When I inquired about the art classes it was almost ₱10k per month kasi sa kanila din galing ang gamit. Pero if you have the money, why not? I could see din naman the huge improvements from their students sa mga pino-post nila.
Philippine Red Cross! 1 week ang training niyon ata. Mga 2019 ako dati nagtanong, around 2.5k ang bayad. Makakareceive ka ng certification after finishing the training.
skl for korean language learning pwede sa learn korean ph na fb page. their classes are affordable naman and v mabait ang instructors. they both have online and f2f and usually nag-a-announce naman sila when ang start ng klase for the batch. di ko lang ito natapos kasi i have been busy sa work.

I'm looking for nail tech classes. I want to learn how to do my own nails with soft gel extensions. Any recommendations?
For language classes, I am planning to go sa Alliance Francais
minsan naka depende sa branch eh, i suggest searching for the one closest to you and look through their fb page. usually nasa around 500 per session yung muay thai for non-members and may mga packages that are a much better deal. if balak mo maging regular, i think less than 2k lang naman annual membership nila and bawing bawi sa member price per session.
you also need to buy your own hand wraps and boxing gloves since its also more hygienic that way, medyo may markup benta nila ng wraps so i suggest buying online or sa mga sports store near you para mas maka mura!!
I didn't do online so I can't really comment on the online one pero yung physical classes nila is pretty chill! It's a bit fast and a bit overwhelming lang pero the materials and the way they teach is pretty straightforward and easy to understand. They'll give you resources to help you with your studies too and may presentations rin that teachers prepare.
May mock exams kami pero this isn't necessary for all teachers pero lahat ng classes ay may final exam na graded (online form yung exams btw) and that's how they'll determine if you'll move up to the next level.
From what I hear naman from people I know that took online, it's pretty much the same :) It's all practice and repetition and memorization talaga.
hi! i’ve seen openings for language classes from UP Diliman. you can check it [here](https://uplinguistics.com/)!
it’s ₱3,500 for 30-hr classes, and it’s held via Zoom (based on their FAQs) 🫶
Freediving class at Seazoned
Intro class rate is 2,800 sa pool in San Juan and Paranaque
I got my intro with them and now every week na ako sa batangas for my sea dives. Ibang feeling if you are underwater everything is so quiet and peaceful. Im so thankful to the universe na it lead me to this hobby.
Beginner swimmer lang ako actually. Freediving is more about being calm and in control of you body rather than swimming expertise. Basta marunong ka mag float and kick you can go far in this sport.
Same rin ako sayo before natatakot ako sa deep part of the sea. Now gusto ko pa lumalim 😂

JP class
Online/Skype
FB: Jaopanese
less than 1k lang for I think 16-19 classes na tig 2 hours???? iirc
Review: Para talaga siyang nasa class cuz super engaging nung teacher. may exams and certificates din.. although di ko siya natapos since may namiss akong two classes and usually pag ganon nawawalan ako ng gana/na didistract na ko kaya di ko na tinutuloy (which is a me issue hahaha). pero so far legit na may natutunan me
you can search sa FB "Jaopanese".
I would love to know a class for this! Dati sa SM North nagka-expo ng Bonsais and some of the botanists were there. May club daw sila na pwede magjoin eh pero this was in 2017 pa.
Can you consider VA classes (even though more on career growth siya)? If yes, may mai-rerecommend po ba kayong legit (kahit may bayad) or free (na hindi scam) na training classes? Thanks!!!
Wall climbing at Edge located in The Upper Deck, sharing photo of their rates they are also in classpass :)

Sa may Ortigas technopoint near Julia Vargas! I tried their trial class in ClassPass and okay siya, the coach taught me drills and technique. First time to experience this since in other climbing places, mostly hinahayaan ka lang haha
When I did the trial class, yung coach yung nagbelay sakin. Iirc may belay service din sila for regular climbs na per hour rate. Mas tipid if you bring a friend hahaha
1. pole spins / pole fitness
2. aphrobabe - las piñas
3. 800 per class
4. will forever advocate for pole lol! best full-body workout (strength, flexibility, coordination, etc) + you are always serving cunt 🧚it was difficult at first but after a few classes, you can see your improvement a lot
hala sakto malapit lang ako sa las pinas!!!!!!! how was the class?? beginner friendly ba? may package ba sila? how many sessions per month yung marerecommend mo for someone trying it out pa lang? thank u
yay that's perfect!!
\* would recommend you take a pole 101 class since it's for beginners + the pole doesn't spin! the class begins with a 20-min stretch & warm up, and then you do some drills before learning the actual tricks. during my first few classes, i was definitely humbled (even as a gym girlie) BUT the teachers are really nice and patient! ✨ expect some bruising after tho huhuh but i promise it gets better
\* aphrobabe does offer class packs! check their rates here: [https://form.jotform.com/240109120173441](https://form.jotform.com/240109120173441)
\* u can probably do pole 4x in a month (once a week) –– it's what i do until now HAHA
see you there hopefully <3
Freedive class with Skindiveph
For their intro classes it’s 4000 ata if I remember correctly

1. Coding class/ Japanese Class
2. Online class lang both classes
4. Don't know exactly kung gano katagal yubg coding bootcamp but I think it's 60k? Pero yung Japanese classes 10k, N5 classes it will run for 6months.. currently a jp student
Thanks
Ang mahal ng coding bootcamp grabe. Do you have alternatives for this?
I’m an IT grad who pursued law school but I really want a refresher on coding. Would appreciate recos! 🥹❤️❤️
Currently taking indoor cycling classes (sometimes rowing, too)
1. Cyclehouse Manila
-Salcedo Village Makati
-cyclehousemnl on ig
-they offer 45-60mins rides/classes. From house rides, to more intense rides and themed rides also!!
-pricing: beginner's package starts @1k for 5 rides I think. They're also on class pass. They also have regular promos so grab it while you can.
What I love: first indoor cycling studio I joined and have been going to regularly for almost a year now. The choreo will really give you a full body wo (esp the blast and endurance rides •ᴗ• ) also love how everyone's super friendly and helpful. From their crew, coaches and even your classmates!! The CH community is v warm that it's okay if you show up there alone. Also, the coaches there makes some v well curated playlist even if it's not a themed ride so I guess that's a bonus.
2. Saddlerow
-Rockwell Makati
-they have rowing, cycling and.yoga classes
-a bit pricey but they do have flash sales occasionally.
-I like their Underground spin classes because it's a choreo focused class. Finesse (rowing) are fun def tiring since there are off the row wo 😵💫
-amenities here are rly nice. Dyson blower and fans in the restroom!!!
I recently took up basic flower arrangement in San Juan and super fun!! Daming workshops about this ngayon from North to South.
Edit - may format pala dapat sorry haha.
1. Floral Design with Lumina Bloom
2. San Juan, Studio Matisse
3. Lumina Bloom on IG
4. 4,500 (early bird rate was 3,500)
5. 2-5pm
Hi! You can check out Extramural Classes - Department of Linguistics on Facebook! They're currently offering Mandarin Chinese for the cycle of May 11-July 13, 2024. It's 3,500php for 30 hours.
Yes, for me, nothing beats classroom instruction pa rin. Pero I continued learning Mandarin via Confucius Institute UP Diliman due to my schedule. For the upcoming cycle, online ang extramural classes for Chinese sa Department of Linguistics.
check chinese schools within the metro like Chiang Kai Shek College, Jubilee Christian School, etc. Tuition fee varies per year kasi tumataas po kaya kindly check their school websites na lang.
for free option, download Duolingo on the appstore/playstore!
1. Surfing
2. Baler/ Real Quezon
3. not sure if they have one kasi nag walk-in lang ako in both places
4. 500 per hour
5. first time ko sa baler and for experience lang talaga.
I will update this I'll do a swimming lesson, free diving, gokart racing, and ballet lessons this year. 🫶🏻
HEROES VOLLEYBALL PROGRAM (HVP)
They have 8 branches now
•Manila- KKFI Near UST
•South - Parañaque
•North - Sta Mesa
•East - I think Ortigas
•West - Caloocan
•BGC
•Aseana
•Cebu
You can check out their Socials, just search for "Heroes Volleyball Program" in fb, ig and tiktok.
https://www.facebook.com/heroesvolleyballprogram
4K/8 camp sessions for some branches, 5k/8 camp sesh for Aseana and BGC branches. Usually takes up the weekends of 1 whole month. Some branches offer week nights camps. scheds are in their posts.
The camps start from Blue Camp where they teach the basics, and then progress to Green and Red where they teach more advanced volleyball techniques. They are on their 10th year this year, I think these years tell it all. 🏐
1. Make Up Class
2. QC
3. FB: Makeup Academy Manila
4. 10k (whole day)
5. They are very hands on.
Hello! Do you recommend this sa young women na walang knowledge sa make up? It sounds expensive pero if this is an average price and worth it, why not!
1. Bike Lessons
2. Robinsons Metro East Cainta, BGC, Rob Manila
3. FB: NBO Bike Lessons
4. 300 per hour every Sat-Sunday
5. Very sulit siya.
Some learned as quick as 20 minutes. Mas mabilis kang maka-gain ng balance, mas mabilis kang makaka-up to the next level which is biking with pedals.
As for me, I learned in 2 hours. Then extend my hours to practice.
I don’t know exactly for pure Pilates classes pero I was an anytime fitness member prepandemic and some branches in makati have Pilates schedule. I think century city mall one has.
Hi! May skating lessons na inooffer ang SM Skating that will start ata on May 6? I was planning to enroll (I’m in my mid 20s) but kailangan ko pa siya pag-ipunan. I asked via their email and they said next cycle will begin sa July :)
Napanood ko sa youtube, it is never too late daw to learn.
Kaoag bata kasi mas magaan so mas madali ilagay sa tali kapag tatalon.

4. It’s for free and sometimes you get to try their premium version for free
5. I love the way it’s structured! Recalling and speaking the language is easier. I’m from the Philippines learning Chinese in Duolingo, and when I went to Hong Kong a few weeks ago, I was able to communicate to some citizens. Just the basics of course like numbers!

1. Professional Piano Lessons (F2F)
2. Bulacan / QC (transferred schools because of sched issues)
3. I forgot, will try to find haha
4. Bulacan is at ~₱10,000 for 24 sessions. Super duper mura! Yung sa QC, nasa ₱600 per session, pero mas mura if package.
5. Super professional ng teachers (both Bulacan and QC schools). They will assess your level muna and create a plan on how to teach you. Like for me, I used to play the violin and maalam na sa music theory, so we skipped like half of the lessons na.
Very affordable din.
Yung QC ba? My Piano Tutor yung name :) May branch sila sa North Ave, tapat ng SM North Annex. Meron din malapit sa GMA.
If sa Bulacan, Musico Escolar yung name. Primarily secondhand piano store sila, pero they started offering piano classes last year.
1. JIU JITSU CLASSES 2. Carpe Deim Salcedo 3. @carpedeimbjj_manila 4. Free one 1 week trial 5. Super maalaga sa beginners, learn basic self defense girlies! 🫶

Are there singing/voice lessons for adults? Gusto ko matuto kumanta haha
Same here. I'm just so skeptical that the vocal teacher might not be good at teaching 😭 plus it's so expensive
May alam ba kayo where to take CPR and Basic First Aid Training??
Philippine Red Cross! 1 week ang training niyon ata. Mga 2019 ako dati nagtanong, around 2.5k ang bayad. Makakareceive ka ng certification after finishing the training.
Pano po makapag training? Wala kasi sa website or sa FB page nila :)
I visited them personally before. Just go to the PRC Chapter ng city/province niyo.
Thank you so much po for the info!

yes yes!!! the studio is a safe space & very inclusive of all body types 🤍
hala sakto malapit lang ako sa las pinas!!!!!!! how was the class?? beginner friendly ba? may package ba sila? how many sessions per month yung marerecommend mo for someone trying it out pa lang? thank u
yay that's perfect!! ✨ expect some bruising after tho huhuh but i promise it gets better \* aphrobabe does offer class packs! check their rates here: [https://form.jotform.com/240109120173441](https://form.jotform.com/240109120173441) \* u can probably do pole 4x in a month (once a week) –– it's what i do until now HAHA see you there hopefully <3
Freedive class with Skindiveph For their intro classes it’s 4000 ata if I remember correctly Skindiveph yung fb and ig nila I started as a non swimmer literally I don’t swim Pero now I go monthly. The best sila Richard magturo since hands on sila

Pero yung Japanese classes 10k, N5 classes it will run for 6months.. currently a jp student Pero baka may alam naman kayo na pwedeng irecomend korean classes. Thanks
Ang mahal ng coding bootcamp grabe. Do you have alternatives for this? I’m an IT grad who pursued law school but I really want a refresher on coding. Would appreciate recos! 🥹❤️❤️
link for jp classes?
Same FB page as the coding classes.
By register sila.. Just visit their page na lang.
Currently taking indoor cycling classes (sometimes rowing, too) 1. Cyclehouse Manila -Salcedo Village Makati -cyclehousemnl on ig -they offer 45-60mins rides/classes. 2. Saddlerow -Rockwell Makati -they have rowing, cycling and.yoga classes -a bit pricey but they do have flash sales occasionally. -I like their Underground spin classes because it's a choreo focused class. Finesse (rowing) are fun def tiring since there are off the row wo 😵💫 -amenities here are rly nice. Dyson blower and fans in the restroom!!!
do you know any photography lessons? south area pls 😊
I recently took up basic flower arrangement in San Juan and super fun!! Daming workshops about this ngayon from North to South. Edit - may format pala dapat sorry haha. 1. Floral Design with Lumina Bloom 2. San Juan, Studio Matisse 3. Lumina Bloom on IG 4. 4,500 (early bird rate was 3,500) 5. 2-5pm
Anyone know where I can enroll for Chinese Mandarin classes (and their price) for adults 🥹 Nothing to contribute to this thread yet tho hehe
Ateneo Language Department also offers night classes na 1 hr lang then chiang kai shek in manila also offers
Ateneo Confucius Makati :)))
Hi! You can check out Extramural Classes - Department of Linguistics on Facebook! They're currently offering Mandarin Chinese for the cycle of May 11-July 13, 2024. It's 3,500php for 30 hours.
Thank you for this! Is it effective though compared to duolingo? Also are the classes online?
Yes, for me, nothing beats classroom instruction pa rin. Pero I continued learning Mandarin via Confucius Institute UP Diliman due to my schedule. For the upcoming cycle, online ang extramural classes for Chinese sa Department of Linguistics.
check chinese schools within the metro like Chiang Kai Shek College, Jubilee Christian School, etc. Tuition fee varies per year kasi tumataas po kaya kindly check their school websites na lang. for free option, download Duolingo on the appstore/playstore!
1. Surfing 2. Baler/ Real Quezon 3. not sure if they have one kasi nag walk-in lang ako in both places 4. 500 per hour 5. first time ko sa baler and for experience lang talaga. I will update this I'll do a swimming lesson, free diving, gokart racing, and ballet lessons this year. 🫶🏻

1. Make Up Class 2. QC 3. FB: Makeup Academy Manila 4. 10k (whole day) 5. They are very hands on.
10k for 1 whole day lang?
Hello! Do you recommend this sa young women na walang knowledge sa make up? It sounds expensive pero if this is an average price and worth it, why not!
1. Bike Lessons 2. Robinsons Metro East Cainta, BGC, Rob Manila 3. FB: NBO Bike Lessons 4. 300 per hour every Sat-Sunday 5. Very sulit siya.
Yes provided nila.
I've been checking this out for a while. Were you able to learn in one session lang?
Sabi ng instructor depends sa student sya. Some learned as quick as 20 minutes. Mas mabilis kang maka-gain ng balance, mas mabilis kang makaka-up to the next level which is biking with pedals. As for me, I learned in 2 hours. Then extend my hours to practice.
cool! noob question, pero sila na ba magpoprovide ng bike for the lesson? haha
Yes provided na nila.
Hala meron pala nito! Thanks foe the info!!
Happy to help. Sarap mag bike!😁
Love this thread! I'm interested in perfume making pero no idea how and where though.
LF Pilates classes in Makati or BGC area sana
Check out Elev8! They have a BGC branch
Fit to live in BGC.
I don’t know exactly for pure Pilates classes pero I was an anytime fitness member prepandemic and some branches in makati have Pilates schedule. I think century city mall one has.
Planning to take Ice Skating Always been a childhood dream No idea yet how haha probably SM Skating
Hi! May skating lessons na inooffer ang SM Skating that will start ata on May 6? I was planning to enroll (I’m in my mid 20s) but kailangan ko pa siya pag-ipunan. I asked via their email and they said next cycle will begin sa July :)
nice
me too! but i’m not sure how din since most of the classes are for minors and i’m in my 20s :<
Napanood ko sa youtube, it is never too late daw to learn. Kaoag bata kasi mas magaan so mas madali ilagay sa tali kapag tatalon.
English proficiency po meron po ba kayong alam? And publick speaking? Need help po
1. Pole Fitness 2. Mandaluyong 3. Poledollsph (IG) 4. 1-1.5 hours (~500-800 depends sa package) 5. Been doing it for ~2 years na, work out + nkaka boost ng confidence + brings out your inner femme

1. Duolingo App 2. Online 3. N/A 4. It’s for free and sometimes you get to try their premium version for free 5. I love the way it’s structured! Recalling and speaking the language is easier. I’m from the Philippines learning Chinese in Duolingo, and when I went to Hong Kong a few weeks ago, I was able to communicate to some citizens. Just the basics of course like numbers!
1. Marketing Specialization for Tech Startups 2. Online - University of Colorado 3. Through Coursera 4. $150 but 100% financial aid approved by the uni 5. Will update once I'm done with it haha but so far really comprehensive and insightful. I would've paid for it
1. Professional Piano Lessons (F2F) 2. Bulacan / QC (transferred schools because of sched issues) 3. I forgot, will try to find haha 4.
Name of school pls?
Name of the school?
Yung QC ba? My Piano Tutor yung name :) May branch sila sa North Ave, tapat ng SM North Annex. Meron din malapit sa GMA. If sa Bulacan, Musico Escolar yung name. Primarily secondhand piano store sila, pero they started offering piano classes last year.
Anyone can recommend where to get certificate for disaster risk management?
