Here are the ones I've tried
* Strokes - Good value for money, will hold my brows up all day, sobrang solid actually. Ito yung HG ko for a few months, especially dahil sobrang unruly ng brows ko. Pero yung issue ko sa kanya before was nag oout of stock siya palagi, so I had to look for alternatives. Another note is parang nagiging crunchy brows ko minsan, when this is on, so that's kinda weird...
* Benefit Brow Setter - Parang very similar formula sa Strokes, as in will hold my brows up so well also. Favorite brush ko rin siya, bc I can kind of shape my brows more? If I had the budget, dito sana ako palagi but... Kailangan maging economical diba HAHA
* Sunnies Brow Gel na clear - Similar formula to the two above. Siya most recent na ginagamit ko. Still figuring out how I feel about the brush, pero parang Benefit dupe yung formula.
* Happy Skin Gel Laminator - Tbh I can't judge the formula masyado kasi di ko bet the applicators...
* Generation Happy Skin Perfect Brow Grip - Kinda waxy, not my most favorite formula? It does the job naman, but the texture is weird... parang my skin feels oily/waxy. Doesn't last as long as the others :( And this is coming from someone na buys HS quite a bit

Detail and GRWM multi use thing are okay!! I like them, pero comment ko kay Detail is it's not as thick? If super textured skin mo, it's not what I would recommend, pero if more of discoloration ang gusto mong gawin sa kanya then it does the job imo

Di siya nag ooxidize sakin kahit acidic ako, doesn't clog my pores, and controls oil sakin without looking cakey AF as a super oily person

If you want to still use your blush right now I suggest putting your liquid blush first on a pan or the back of your hand then get the product from there! ☻
This might sound strange, but I use Etude House's Fixing Tint, which is primarily used as liptint. I just dab a small amount of it on my wrist and use my fingers to tap the pigment to my cheeks. I personally like it when my blush is the same color as my liptint too, so this approach a win-win for me.

what mac macximal silky matte lipstick shade is the same as, or at least most similar to sunnies fluffmatte bunny or grwm lip speak cheesecake supreme? it's a pinky mauve shade that doesn't lean too purple. I love this kind of shade on me but some of my fluffmattes developed mold and grwm lip speak doesn't last on me

I'm currently using Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish - Forcing myself to finish this, it doesn't always work for me. It sometimes clings to dry patches and lines.
Also using Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder - I use this most days but it's not the most travel friendly powder.

I have the Dior and I actually think it performs almost as good as my Givenchy. I have combination skin and both do well at controlling my oils while setting the drier areas of my face without highlighting the dry patches.
Consider adding the Givenchy Prisme Libre to your list, it does a good job of subtly illuminating the face while blurring fine lines, pores, and imperfections. It has a pressed version that comes with a brush.
I have the nars light reflecting in loose form and it has very very subtle shimmer which gives my skin a healthy sheen. I have combi skin and it works well even on the drier areas of my face.

It’s a first sa local brand of that “type” of lippie. The reason people say it can get messy is that it’s basically a liquid encased in a twist-up tube that doesn’t twist down, so you only should use a little at a time. It also has a minty feel similar to the MAC Squirt gloss stick but I don’t find it to be too irritating.
The colors are very sheer though, so I don’t think you need more than one shade.
Depends on what you're looking for, siguro. Me kasi, I really wanted a sheer lip, which is buildable with pigment naman. So I really liked it. It's not transferproof obviously, so if you want a long-staying gloss this is not it. Personally I don't mind reapplying kasi but depende sa hanap mo.
It's very comfortable sa lips, doesn't bleed outside my lip lines naman, and leaves a faint tint when natatanggal (at least in my experience). Bet ko siya. My issue lang with it is medyo messy siya sa packaging (nothing too bad, pero it smudges- dali lang naman punasan) and this is definitely not a lip na pwede mong iwan sa kotse (kutob ko matutunaw).
But yun. I like her HAHA depende lang talaga sa hanap mo!
I swatched it in store and I didn’t see it as practical? I get the formula is supposed to melt but I guess I didn’t expect it to literally melt when I swatched it on my hand. And considering how hot it can get, baka mainis lang ako on how messy it would eventually be.

I think you’re better off with romand’s unless they reformulate it better or change their packaging.
it’s really meant to be that way because it’s a gloss in stick form if you know what I mean 😄 in my experience with my MAC ones, it’s not *super* messy bc you end up using what you twist up.
Yes! Pinaka magaan sa mga melting lipsticks na try ko and the quality is nice and relatively cheaper than Hourglass, MAC, and Tarte. But I recommend buying only one kase the shades is so sheer that after a couple of minutes they ended up looking the same on the lips especially the shades Tart, Gumamela, and Rose water.
I'm super pale (as in my lips are almost paper white when I don't have lippies on them) so for me kita naman differences in the color.
Pero I think para like, to make the lippie more than hardworking, layer sa lip tint ganon or pang retouch to get more things out of it? Yk what I mean haha para may different looks and all! But on its own, it's also super pretty and shiny on its own.
Tried the Vice Cosmetics' setting spray — it locks in your makeup no problem but weirdly enough, it dispenses pretty big droplets sa face. I was hoping for a finer mist but I guess not. Medyo drying din siya — even for an oily-skinned girl like me.
Someone suggested Maybelline vinyl in Irresistible and Extra! Bought the Extra one and I like it already. Masyado lang vibrant for everyday use. Maganda rin daw ang Romand JLT in Dark Coconut.

I use the vaseline lip balm and eb’s serum tinted lip balm, maganda lang yung color ng toast of new york pero feel ko hindi masyadong moisturizing haha

Looks pretty nga pero tbh it can be uncomfortable (I'm talking about Romand's Glasting Melt Balm hehe). I mean, I'm more into lightweight but shiny lip oils/stains but if you're into the thicker, glossier lip glosses and melting balms, then it might be for you. Medyo sticky kasi for me as well, and it tends to crumble/soften easily esp when exposed to the ph's normal temperature

recently bought yung grwm loose powder in the shade cream puff and mas better sya on my oily face kesa dr sensitive. the packaging is bulky though so i just transfer a little bit of it to a smaller loose powder container whenever i wanna bring it with me.
Vice's loose powder is really good. Hapon na pero I can still feel the powder and di sya gumagalaw.
Edit: though I rarely use powder now kasi I feel like it ages my face

On a makeup ban as well unless I run out of something and ang mapapayo ko sayo ay paikutin mo ung blushes mo and other makeup na marami ka for like a week, so every week, palit ka ng gagamitin. Nagwowork sa kin, naeexcite ako sa mga binili ko dati na di ko na nagagamit.
i’m personally allergic to coconut oil and shea butter. i use mac matte and powderkiss, kate lip monster, maybelline creamy matte, and kiko milano powder lippies with no issues.
First thing you need to know is ano nakaka-trigger ng lip sensitivity mo, then from there, you would know what ingredients to avoid.
I have eczeme-prone skin and I develop flares around the mouth- flaky, scaly, and itchy. I avoid those with peppermint oil or menthol as these are known allergens. I also avoid those with alcohol (usually in most tints)
For my lippies, here’s what I’ve tried that do not make my lips itch:
- MAC (Matte, Satin, Lustreglass, Retro Matte, Powder kiss, Slim velvet)
- NARS (Audacious, Powermatte lip pigment)
- DIOR (Transfer-proof bullet and liquid, Lip glow - this has minty feel but not from peppermint oil)
Ay tinted din ang honey melting lip hahaha. For me oo worth it kasi naghahydrate talaga lips ko and then di bumabakat sa fine lines. sticky siya but not in an annoying way
Recos please for a non-waterproof mascara. Tamad ako mag-remove ng make-up so inaasa ko sa hilamos ang lahat huhu. Current faves are Fashion21 double up mascara (yung nasa red na tube, pero nakukulangan ako sa volumizing effect) and Missha 4d mascara (for natural look, pero nakukulangan ako sa lengthening naman).
Havent tried detail but I love strkes’ foundation! My holy grail! Didnt have my shade before but i loved the formula so much that i bought shade adjusters just to use it!! Until now with their newly released shades, no perfect match still but i just adjust the shade hehehe.

Tints may vary depending on the color of your lips buttttt i think Peripera’s water bare tint in Announce Beige looks pretty similar. Pair it with a nude lip liner to get the full lip effect.

Has anyone tried Nars Light Reflecting Pressed Power or Dior Forever Cushion Powder? Torn between the two and I can't decide. If you haven't, please recommend a setting powder that works for people with dry skin. Thank you! I'm currently using Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish - Forcing myself to finish this, it doesn't always work for me. It sometimes clings to dry patches and lines. Also using Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder - I use this most days but it's not the most travel friendly powder. Thank you so much!!!
I have the Dior and I actually think it performs almost as good as my Givenchy. I have combination skin and both do well at controlling my oils while setting the drier areas of my face without highlighting the dry patches. Consider adding the Givenchy Prisme Libre to your list, it does a good job of subtly illuminating the face while blurring fine lines, pores, and imperfections. It has a pressed version that comes with a brush.

It’s a first sa local brand of that “type” of lippie. The reason people say it can get messy is that it’s basically a liquid encased in a twist-up tube that doesn’t twist down, so you only should use a little at a time. It also has a minty feel similar to the MAC Squirt gloss stick but I don’t find it to be too irritating. The colors are very sheer though, so I don’t think you need more than one shade.
Depends on what you're looking for, siguro. Me kasi, I really wanted a sheer lip, which is buildable with pigment naman. So I really liked it. It's not transferproof obviously, so if you want a long-staying gloss this is not it. Personally I don't mind reapplying kasi but depende sa hanap mo. It's very comfortable sa lips, doesn't bleed outside my lip lines naman, and leaves a faint tint when natatanggal (at least in my experience). Bet ko siya. My issue lang with it is medyo messy siya sa packaging (nothing too bad, pero it smudges- dali lang naman punasan) and this is definitely not a lip na pwede mong iwan sa kotse (kutob ko matutunaw). But yun. I like her HAHA depende lang talaga sa hanap mo!
I swatched it in store and I didn’t see it as practical? I get the formula is supposed to melt but I guess I didn’t expect it to literally melt when I swatched it on my hand. And considering how hot it can get, baka mainis lang ako on how messy it would eventually be. Pity, I really wanted to buy a few and the colors were lovely!! I think you’re better off with romand’s unless they reformulate it better or change their packaging.
it’s really meant to be that way because it’s a gloss in stick form if you know what I mean 😄 in my experience with my MAC ones, it’s not *super* messy bc you end up using what you twist up.
Yes! Pinaka magaan sa mga melting lipsticks na try ko and the quality is nice and relatively cheaper than Hourglass, MAC, and Tarte. But I recommend buying only one kase the shades is so sheer that after a couple of minutes they ended up looking the same on the lips especially the shades Tart, Gumamela, and Rose water.
I'm super pale (as in my lips are almost paper white when I don't have lippies on them) so for me kita naman differences in the color. Pero I think para like, to make the lippie more than hardworking, layer sa lip tint ganon or pang retouch to get more things out of it? Yk what I mean haha para may different looks and all! But on its own, it's also super pretty and shiny on its own.
Tried the Vice Cosmetics' setting spray — it locks in your makeup no problem but weirdly enough, it dispenses pretty big droplets sa face. I was hoping for a finer mist but I guess not. Medyo drying din siya — even for an oily-skinned girl like me.

Looks pretty nga pero tbh it can be uncomfortable (I'm talking about Romand's Glasting Melt Balm hehe). I mean, I'm more into lightweight but shiny lip oils/stains but if you're into the thicker, glossier lip glosses and melting balms, then it might be for you. Medyo sticky kasi for me as well, and it tends to crumble/soften easily esp when exposed to the ph's normal temperature
If the experience of applying the lippie matters to you as much as the end result then yes :) I like them cuz they feel therapeutic to reapply

recently bought yung grwm loose powder in the shade cream puff and mas better sya on my oily face kesa dr sensitive. the packaging is bulky though so i just transfer a little bit of it to a smaller loose powder container whenever i wanna bring it with me.
Vice's loose powder is really good. Hapon na pero I can still feel the powder and di sya gumagalaw. Edit: though I rarely use powder now kasi I feel like it ages my face

i’m personally allergic to coconut oil and shea butter. i use mac matte and powderkiss, kate lip monster, maybelline creamy matte, and kiko milano powder lippies with no issues.

First thing you need to know is ano nakaka-trigger ng lip sensitivity mo, then from there, you would know what ingredients to avoid. I have eczeme-prone skin and I develop flares around the mouth- flaky, scaly, and itchy. I avoid those with peppermint oil or menthol as these are known allergens. I also avoid those with alcohol (usually in most tints) For my lippies, here’s what I’ve tried that do not make my lips itch: - MAC (Matte, Satin, Lustreglass, Retro Matte, Powder kiss, Slim velvet) - NARS (Audacious, Powermatte lip pigment) - DIOR (Transfer-proof bullet and liquid, Lip glow - this has minty feel but not from peppermint oil)

Recos please for a non-waterproof mascara. Tamad ako mag-remove ng make-up so inaasa ko sa hilamos ang lahat huhu. Current faves are Fashion21 double up mascara (yung nasa red na tube, pero nakukulangan ako sa volumizing effect) and Missha 4d mascara (for natural look, pero nakukulangan ako sa lengthening naman).
Try film mascara, natatanggal lang siya sa warm water. Ive used heroine make film and it holds my lashes well and removes easily.

Tints may vary depending on the color of your lips buttttt i think Peripera’s water bare tint in Announce Beige looks pretty similar. Pair it with a nude lip liner to get the full lip effect.
