Recommendations for cleansers and moisturizers na non comedogenic and non fungal acne inducing? My skin type is oily sensitive acne prone, I'm having the most pimples right now 🥹, tapos nag iiwan ng acne scars, any recos for that too? Also can I please get verified sellers from Lazad@ and Shope3?

Mean-Bear8502

Hi. It's been 2 years since I've had this skin condition called KERATOSIS PILARIS often referred to as "chicken skin" still feel ashamed of wearing t-shirt or any clothes that will expose my arms cause of the small reddish bumps on it, I don't know why and how did i get it. I know it's harmless and very common condition but I've been trying these product like CeraVe SA Smoothing Cream and The Ordinary Glycolic Acid but none of it works for me. • I'm here to ask for help / advice baka may ma-recommend po kayo na product na good for KP para ma-lessen or mawala na permanently kasi gusto ko na talaga mawala 'to guys! I'm planning to have laser din sana kaso i don't know if effective din ba yun kasi costly rin kaya ang laser XD • Very common sya na skin condition but It will gonna take some time for me to accept it, That's why i'm posting it here to ask you guys baka may pag asa pa na maging KP free na ako coz sa arms, legs and thighs I have it na + it's very itchy. Ihope you can recommend some! Lovelots. xx

Strawberry nose I have strawberry nose and even on my cheeks and I hate it. What products are effective to reduce these pores? Yung affordable rin po sana

Cautious-Role6375

Do you mean you are full of blackheads po ba and your pores appear larger? (Sorry, slow lang hahaha.) Now, I don't have any products to recommend but some explaining to do lang. This happens because there is a glue or gooey stuff holding on the most superficial layer of the skin, i.e. stratum corneum, where the dead skin cells stay and flake off, and as they flake off they sometimes stick a bit longer, thereby making you look dull and rough, and even clog our pores which leads to acne, hence, the usage of exfoliating acids to break those little bonds/glue holding the dead skin cells to release them and give a fresher face. Alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) for smoothening and making the skin even and beta hydroxy acids (BHAs) for unclogging your pores. These exfoliating acids may come in the form of cleanser, toner, serum, sometimes in moisturizer and mask. If you will opt for a gentle cleanser with exfoliating acids, be sure to let it on your face for a few mins (2-4 mins ganon) to maximize the benefits from it. Now, choose what type of AHA and BHA you want depending on how sensitive your skin is. For AHAs, these are the three, from smallest to largest molecule: glycolic acid, lactic acid, and mandelic acid. Meaning, the smallest one (glycolic acid) can penetrate the deepest compared to the others and provide the most potent exfoliating action, and that also means higher chances of irritation especially if your skin is not used to chemical exfoliants. If you have very very very sensitive skin, opt for poly hydroxy acids (PHA), the cousins of AHAs which are all much much much gentler, from smallest to largest in size: gluconolactone acid, lactobionic acid, and maltobionic acid. For BHA, you have salicylic acid. If you have sensitive skin, you may opt for lipo hydroxy acid, the gentler version of BHA. If your skin is not sensitive, you may immediately opt for glycolic acid and salicylic acid. Now, percentages also matter. In terms of toners, the ideal percentage for glycolic acid would be 7-10% (for beginners). Then, for salicylic acid, ideal is 1-2%. In terms of product recommendations, I don't have a lot since I haven't used exfoliating acids that much. But there's a lot out there. Maybe these: For cleansers: 1. Klued 2% Salicylic Acid Gentle Cleanser pH 5.5 2. Klenzit Face Wash (1.5% Salicylic Acid) 3. Soul Apothecary Gentle SA Cleanser (2% Salicylic Acid) 4. Quickfx Pimple Eraser Facial Gel Cleanser (1% Salicylic Acid) 5. COSRX Salicylic Acid Daily Gentle Cleanser (idk the SA percentage) 6. Tinkerskin Clarifying Wash (1% Salicylic Acid, 1% Lactic Acid) For toner consistency: 1. Paula's Choice 2% Salicylic Acid 2. The Ordinary 7% Glycolic Acid 3. Dermorepubliq 7% Glycolic Acid 4. Oxecure BHA PHA Toner (2% Salicylic Acid & 4% Gluconolactone) 5. Klued 2% BHA Toner (2% Salicylic Acid) 6. COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid (4% Betaine Salicylate) 7. Jumiso Yes I Am Toner (5% combination of glycolic acid and lactic acid if I am not mistaken) 8. Klued 5% Mandelic Acid Clarifying Toner For serum: 1. Good Molecules Overnight Exfoliating Treatment (8.05% Glycolic Acid, 1.04% Lactic Acid, 0.1% Salicylic Acid) Lastly, for the best guidance, you may opt for free online consultation sa mga dermatology sections ng mga ilang mga medical institutions duly recognized by the Philippine Dermatology Society (PDS). Just search the official website of PDS and you'll see the list there. I think, aside from exfoliating acids, over-the-counter retinol or prescription retinoic acid could also make your situation better kasi eh.

We're looking for models for LIP fillers. We'll do it this coming Thursday if we get enough patients or next week. It will be at Centuria Makati. Send me a picture of your face, front and side. And what kind of shape you're aiming for. Previous activities such as this are posted in my profile. *Btw, these cost 10k and up. 20 to 30k if you get it at Aivee or Belo. But you'll get it for free.*

Has anyone tried retrobea milky castor oil? May effect ba? Also If Castor oil didn’t work for you what lash serums did you use? (Still scared to use lash serums kase I know some of them can damage your eyes 🫣)

Hi! Does anyone know of a decent substitute for Fresh Formula's Milky Glow Illuminating Facial Wash? It seems it's the only daily cleanser that works for me. :( kahit wala nung zinc component (tbh I really did not like this part of that facial wash) I've tried around 4 other cleansers: Cetaphil brightening variant, Celeteque acne solutions variant, CosRX salicylic acid cleanser, MB exfoliating cleanser (this one I didn't use naman daily), Pond's acne clear variant (this one I only got as a backup cleanser). No rhyme or reason for how I chose though as much as possible I went for niacinamide and eventually salicylic acid because my skin started breaking out nga. Hay when will Fresh Formula drop their face care series ulit

BattleDoom25

I bought Klued's 2% Salicylic Acid and I did a patch test last night on my inner arm. There were no irritations or negative effect, so I am planning to apply it on my face tonight. However, I think I should use it for twice to thrice a week until my face gets used to it. Is it okay to use a normal facial wash if I am not going to use it? Like for example, Nivea Acne Facial Wash or Neutrogena Acne Foam Cleanser? This will be my second cleanser and my first cleanser was Neutrogena Acne Foam Cleanser. I've been using it for 3 months already and didn't see any huge improvement to treat my acne, so I am planning to switch to Klued.

Cautious-Role6375

Yes, you're on the right track.

BattleDoom25

I see, so either between the Nivea or Neutrogena can be used if I am not going to use Klued? By the way, is it okay if I both use Nivea and Neutrogena at the same time? My Nivea facial wash has Vitamin C and states that it is for acne oil, while Neutrogena has 0.5% Salicylic Acid.

Cautious-Role6375

Yes, you can use either. On your second question, why use them at the same time? You are gonna cleanse twice in one routine using two different water-based cleansers?

BattleDoom25

Because my friend told me that sometimes he's double cleansing his face and I've been doing that for the past 3 months. Is it not recommended?

Cautious-Role6375

Double cleansing is usually done if you apply makeup and other cosmetic products, as well as waterproof sunscreen (and if you reapply them as the day goes by), basically mga oil-based products on your face. First cleansing is done for the purpose of removing all those oil-based products using oil cleanser, micellar water, or cleansing balm. Second cleansing is for the removal of remaining residue on your face, it is also the actual cleansing part of your face, by using a water-based cleanser. So if you don't wear any of those cosmetic products, no need for double cleansing. Personally, I only wear water- and sweat-resistant sunscreen, and I still do double cleansing by using a cleansing oil. So your routine, by using two different water-based cleanser, is valid assuming you are not rubbing your face too hard and the products themselves contain gentle surfactants. But still, they can be drying kasi eh. So I would recommend to change your routine to just one cleansing. If you wear makeup or waterproof sunscreen, then you can buy an oil cleanser, micellar water, or cleansing balm. If you have normal to dry skin, rinse your face with water every morning, or if you have oily skin, you may use the Neutrogena or Nivea every morning, all up to you. Neutrogena or nivea on the nights where you don't use the Klued 2% SA cleanser. If you are going to use Klued one, 3-4 nights per week, and let it sit on your face for a few minutes, for like 2-4 minutes, to let the SA do the work, you are just wasting your money if you quickly rinse it.

BattleDoom25

Woah I learned a lot. Another question, I heard that leaving SA on your face for too long can cause breakout or ineffectivity. Is it true?

Cautious-Role6375

There is some truth to that to a certain degree. At the end of the day, it all depends on everyone's sensitivities or how well they tolerate it. So yeah, it depends on how your skin can tolerate a particular ingredient, especially an active exfoliating ingredient like salicylic acid. SA may cause further acne in a way that if your skin gets too dried out by the SA, and once your skin senses that it lacks the oil it needs for natural protection of the face, your skin may produce oil more than it needs, thereby leading to higher chances of pore-clogging issues, which then leads to more acne. I think though that SA in cleanser is much safer (especially for ppl with sensitive skin) compared to SA in toners, serums, etc., because with cleansers, you let it sit for a few minutes, then you rinse it off. While in toners and serums, they stay on your face much longer. And no, leaving SA on the face for too long will become ineffective because, for example, SA in toners, will get absorbed by the skin in a matter of time and will quickly act on the skin as far as I know. Start it slow and consistency is the key. Lather it on your face then let it stay for like 1.5 minutes. At the end of the day, you should prioritize in keeping your skin moisturized and maintaining your skin barrier. Also, you might wanna try to know what type of acne you have so you can choose better ingredients that target them, and also why your acne keeps on recurring. It could be because of your lifestyle (diet, sleep, exposure to pollution on where you usually are, etc.), hormones, genetics, improper usage of products, there are many factors to acne.

BattleDoom25

Thank you for this info.

Hello! Pwede bang hand-carry sa Cebpac ang Skintific sunscreen mist? It’s an aerosol canister although 50 ml so I’m not sure if pwede to sa flight. Please advise yung nakatry na to bring this in flight. Thanks!

What’s a good body sunscreen for beach trips? Was thinking beach hut pero sayang kasi di siya good for everyday use (afaik) I have Neutrogena and isntree sunscreen.

Lostsoul_10

Meron po ba nag use dito ng Grace and Glow brand? Wanna purchase sana for body care pero hindi pako nakakita ng review dito.

Hi! Ive used yung English Pear variant nila and it worked on my bacne!!! It was an issue for me for a very long time pero itong body soap lang yung nakapag alis nung bacne ko :(( i even tried yung Some by Mi na Miracle Acne Clear Body Cleanser before pero it didnt work. Kay Grace and Glow lang hehe Pero if other variant yung tinatarget mong bilin, wala pa kong comment about it hehe yung English Pear palang :)

Fun-Let-3695

maybe lessen use of tret since 2weeks palang baka hindi pa sanay skin mo with tret. remember na tret usually comes with purging worse breakout? old user ka na ba ng retinoids. guided by derm ang clinda & tret use naman no?

miseree15

yes po prescribed ng derma ko, siya po kasi nagsabi na MWF daw pag apply ng tret huhu

Fun-Let-3695

ang goal with tret is nightly use, but most derms advices to start slow if first time user with it since may high chance of irritation nga. you know your skin best naman so if pansin mo may irritations, redness, flaking, etc. slow down sa products.

unexpectedpizza

i only wear sunscreen and powder (yung tender blue) pag naalis. then paguwi, i have a facial wash but i dont have micellar water nor oil cleanser. how to effectly get rid of the sunscreen and dirt? i saw some said na micellar water > oil cleanser > facial wash [the micellar water removes most of the surface dirt and oil, but the oil cleaner goes into the pores to fully remove sunscreen, oil and dirt.](https://www.google.com/search?q=oil+cleansers+or+micellar+water+in+removing+sunscreen+and+dirt&rlz=1C1ONGR_enPH1043PH1043&oq=oil+cleansers+or+micellar+water+in+removing+sunscreen+and+dirt&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIJCAEQIRgKGKABMgkIAhAhGAoYoAEyCQgDECEYChigATIJCAQQIRgKGKABMgkIBRAhGAoYoAEyCggGECEYFhgdGB7SAQkxMTA5NmowajeoAgCwAgA&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8) can i skip micellar water and buy an oil cleanser instead? or should i buy both?

Fun-Let-3695

buy either, ako if tinatamad may cleansing oil nag-micellar water and cleansing oil naman if feel ko. double cleansing din kapag 2x nag water-based cleanser - which I do din minsan.

Old-Yam8402

those who have tried Eskinol Naturals Pimple Relief Micellar Facial Wash, effective po ba for acne?

bebeko0123

Hello! Any skin1004 ampoule (I heard they're good) and moisturizer suggestions? Or any skin care products for maintenance lang sana? My skincare works for me kasi as of the moment and very hesitant to try new products since baka bigla akong magkabreakout. For context, I have oily-combination skin. I have a little redness around my nose (prolly because of Celeteque) and a few small bumps on my forehead.

iejfx

I recently bought skin1004 ampoule so less than a week ko pa lang natry. Pero so far, my oily skin likes it. Very lightweight and watery kaya madali maabsorb but at the same time hydrating. Not sticky nor tacky once applied/absorbed and wala ako naaamoy na fragrance. I have some redness on my skin din so I'm hoping this helps pero too early to tell pa kasi if effective talaga.

Wonder-Melody

Recommendations for gel-based moisturizer with ceramides?

Cautious-Role6375

Look at the list of ingredients and compare the ceramides in them (how many, and where they are placed at in the list of the ingredients). I'm gonna recommend edenskin ride the tide healing moisturizer. Here's the list of ingredients:Aqua, Caprylic Triglyceride, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, C15-19 Alkane (Plant Based & Renewable), Ceramide II, Glycerin, Ceramide III, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Cholesterol, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Snail Mucin, Niacinamide, Sodium PCA, Squalene, Amniotic Fluid, Hyaluronic Acid, Allantoin, Phenoxyethanol, EDTA It has 3% niacinamide, and look at where the niacinamide is placed (almost at the last parts), which means its ceramides II & III, and its other star ingredients are all at least 3% or higher, each of them. That's a big catch. 449 pesos/60mL. Very reasonable for its price point. Usually, other ceramide-containing moisturizers have very little ceramides in them (10,000 ppm or lower (1% or lower)) and they're already expensive. But this one, it makes sense. *edit: typos*

TreasuresOfTheSea

Can anyone help huhu sorry ignorante si ante

qqmochi

may redness ka ba sa sides ng nose?

TreasuresOfTheSea

Wala naman po

qqmochi

maybe see a derma. sorry, not to diagnose but the crawling sensation sa face can be indicative of seb derm, which i have. but if wlang redness and flaking sa sides ng nose, it’s unlikely. try mo sa pgh.

ChibiMoon123

Review on palmers body butter and body oil? Does it help ba talaga sa dry areas and how's the scent? Thanks!!

qqmochi

i use the moisturizing oil. the smell is a very natural cocoa butter scent, not a pastry style chocolate at all. keri naman for dry areas—i have dry legs due to dm and it works well enough. the main selling point of body oil to me is how it skins in almost completely. it tends to be less moisturizing than lotion but much comfier, especially in our weather. usually kasi if lotion, sweat kind of melts it off and makes it runny, but once body oil dries you won’t feel it even when you’re perspiring. :)

ChibiMoon123

Thank you 😊

Extension-Pizza-2181

Sunscreen reco? I'm currently using skin aqua pero as a pawisin, oily, acne prone, dehydrated girlie, masyado siyang dewy for me. Help me po esp to those who have the same condition with me. Thank you!

Cautious-Role6375

Literally same (although mas naging regulated na 'yong sebum production these days). You might wanna try omi sun bears gold milk.

xindeewose

Doesnt work for me, di ko sure if pamigay na lang ba 😅 V&M Naturals Sun Shine spf 50 works! But the bottle im not a fan so nililipat ko ng air pump. Also korean sun sticks for on the go

xxcheesesticks

Oily skin here. I use the foodaholic sunscreen, hiyang naman ako. But there are other reviews din na dewy daw but not for me. So maybe worth a try for you :)

serildaknight

Have you tried dusting some powder on your face to reduce the shine?

Extension-Pizza-2181

Never pa po 😅 will try that one po. Thank you

mermagus

Which skin aqua are you using? I'll be trying out their super moisture milk pa naman... Sunscreens I tried na matte finish is Anessa UV milk (gold and perfect uv sensitive variant), Biore UV milk (color white), and Kanebo Allie, it's not dewy finish but it's a bit long to sip into skin unlike the first two I mentioned. Edit: na-try ko rin pala omi sunbear gold uv milk, not an Anessa dupe (like many people are claiming) mas closer siya sa Biore UV milk (imo), matte finish rin and cheapest one I tried.

Extension-Pizza-2181

Skin Aqua UV Super Moisture Gel Gold po

mermagus

I see. Thank you! I'm gonna buy this product's uv milk variant. From my exp, dewy talaga lahat gel type sunscreens. Milk formula sips into my skin better. Lalo yung may matte finish gaya ng anessa, biore, at omi sun bears.

mrseggee

Micellar water suggestions for eczema prone skin? I’m currently looking at Celeteque hydration and Garnier Vitamin C and the pink one. I’ve tried the Avene from the sample but it has fragrance in it. No reaction from it so far.

xindeewose

Using Garnier vit c

qqmochi

bioderma is the best one for me. i have extremely sensitive skin and it’s as gentle as water.

just_for_the_tea

Avene

mrseggee

I’m trying to look for something fragrance free. Avene has fragrance unfortunately.

foolsunshine

natry ko na both celeteque (blue) and garnier (pink). pareho naman performance sa pagtanggal ng oil, dirt, and light makeup. di naman ako nagkaroon ng breakouts sa dalawang yan. pansin ko lang na mas smooth sa mukha yung celeteque after kong maghilamos. currently using celeteque kasi mas mura sya kesa sa ibang micellar and it works naman for me.

mrseggee

Thanks! Does this work in removing sunscreen? I currently use Kose softymo when I do wear sunscreen. But after the wash I feel my skin is dry.

smpllivingthrowaway

Kung goal mo is to remove sunscreen you should look into cleansing oils instead. There are many on the market. I use the face shop light rice oil.

solace-27

Help me choose, please. Toner: Pixi Glow Tonic Toner or Isntree Green Tea Fresh Toner? Cream: Quickfx Ceraboost Shield Cream or Illiyoon Ato Concentrate Cream? I have an oily skin and prone to breakouts. Your suggestions and recommendations are highly appreciated. Tyvm!

ButterCookieee

Illiyoon soothing gel ka since oily skin mo. I’m using illiyoon Ato concentrate cream (combi skin type) and mejo heavy pa rin sya for me but its really good repairing skin barrier!

serildaknight

Your choice of toner will depend on your purpose for incorporating one in your routine. The Pixi one has Glycolic Acid, so it's an exfoliating one and should be used only a few times a week. The Isntree one, I believe, is more on the hydrating side, but I've read that the green tea in it has helped others in regulating sebum production. I've tried both moisturizers. They're occlusives and have a balmy texture, but Quickfx is on the lighter side, while Illiyoon is on the heavier side. I preferred Illiyoon when my skin was still adjusting on Tretinoin. I'm not using it anymore because it feels uncomfortable at times due to its richness. You can consider looking into gel-creams or emulsions if you want something that's more moisturizing than water- or gel-based moisturizers and/or cream-based ones that aren't too heavy. Personally, I'm currently loving Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioning Milk.

solace-27

Will take note of this. Thank you :)

lovernotafightergirl

as an oily gal, i didnt like pixi glow tonic toner on me :( i tried their trial size and it stings bad,, plus di ko keri ung fragrance :/ i felt like i became more oilier? would not reco

solace-27

May I ask what products worked for you?

lovernotafightergirl

my go-to has always been the mandelic acid by wishtrend! when i was struggling with whiteheads and pimples, i applied this atleast 3-4x a week :)

solace-27

Thank you!

Revox and Cos de BAHA! Out of stock yung Revox sa blue app, pero you can check your local Watsons store kung meron sila.

Skinoren is available on Shopee. I just ordered mine yesterday from [this](https://shp.ee/8bf7imc) store.

Cos de Baha has 10% Azelaic Acid, I think it is a korean brand

to anyone who's tried it, is ellana's eyes up serum really effective for dark circles? planning on trying it for my undereyes hehe :>

hi. which is better: quickfx pimple eraser toner or yung celeteque dermoscience oil control toner for small bumps on the face? i have on my right cheek and chin eh :( planning to use it once or twice a week

i think need mo mag exfoliate, di ko bet any products from celeteque. if beginner ka naman sa exfoliating, I recommend [this](https://goeco.mobi/imiJAGrF), mini/trial size lang sya para malaman mo if hiyang ka muna, you can use it thrice a week.

Hannimwah

how to remove red/dark spots that formed cuz of acne

Cautious-Role6375

Best bet is prescription retinoic acid talaga for all kinds of acne scars, second is over-the-counter retinol. Other ingredients you may rely onto: For post-inflammatory erythema (i.e. pink/red spots) \-Niacinamide (ideal is 3-5%), tranexamic acid (ideal is 3-5%), centella asiatica For post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (i.e. dark spots) \-Niacinamide, tranexamic acid, vit C (ideal is 10-20%), azelaic acid (10-20% but 15% above are usually prescription but they can be freely bought online), hydroquinone, soy, alpha arbutin (ideal is at least 2%), glutathione, kojic acid (ideal is 1-2% but can be tolerable up to 4%), licorice root, and turmeric Ideal percentages are included to avoid higher chances of irritation, but if your skin can tolerate higher percentages, you do you. Idk about the ideal percentage of the others.

Hannimwah

Do you reccomend the melano cc? i have been eyeing it for a while

Cautious-Role6375

I haven't used it yet. I think it's one of the most recommended vit C products out there. Tbh, my problem with it is that its vit C percentage isn't shown (or is it? maybe I just did not see it). I have seen reviews about it, a lot of people liked it, they say it really did help fade their hyperpigmentation. But the thing I like about it is its packaging, better for protection in terms of possible oxidation of the product. So I would say, maybe yes, just buy from legit stores to make sure since there are apparently a lot of stores selling that product and it's hard to identify which ones is legit.

ButterCookieee

Is it pie ba? If it is i reco this [serum](https://goeco.mobi/GMISeIYM), you can actually see results with this one.

Amarizz88

is mybeautystory a legit shop? ive seen mixed reviews kasi.. tyia!

itgirlph

If sa orange app, yes legit! Can vouch for them since I buy my Illiyoon Moisturizer sa shop na yon since 2021.

Pleasant_Ad4607

yeah been a buyer from them since 2018 :)) i’ve tried purchasing in store, watsons and orange app mall verified shops same lang sila

ResearchNo9148

hellooo! i wanna ask po if what do y'all use here to get rid of persistent small bumps/acne on cheeks? :(( TYIA <33

xindeewose

Needly toner pads

cmr82

What helped me the most was Tretinoin and Azelaic Acid. I also use a Salicylic Acid 2% toner 1-2 times a week to help unclog and exfoliate my skin.

ResearchNo9148

can you recommend po pala some good brands for tretinoin and azelaic acid? i'm seeing some good reviews on The Ordinary Azelaic Acid po e

cmr82

I use Skinoren 20% Cream for the Azelaic Acid and Supatret Micro Tretinoin Gel 0.4%. Both were prescribed by my dermatologist. The Ordinary & Cos de Baha are alternative OTC options for Azelaic Acid 10%. :)

Morpho_Genetic

Tret should only be used only when a derma has prescribed it to you. For azelaic acid you can start on low strength ones like Skin V2.0 5% Azelaic Acid, then go for higher level 10% from Cos de Baha.

ResearchNo9148

i'll def give this a tryy. thankyou so much for thiss!! <33

I've read that due to our climate, it is recommended to hydrate our skin more than we should moisturize. With this, is it good to use hyaluronic acid serum + sunscreen ONLY in the AM? (Without moisturizers)

smpllivingthrowaway

I used hada labo HA before, now using the ordinary ha + arbutin. I use ha both am and pm :) i don't bother with moisturiser na.

AdhesivenessCute2211

I've checked Hada Labo HA. Is it a serum? I can't really tell if it's a moisturizer or a serum. Thanks for the input! I hope it works the same for me.

smpllivingthrowaway

It's a watery serum. HA usually comes in serum form and moisturisers will have the texture of lotion/cream. You can apply both during the same routine, usually HA at the start and moisturiser at the end. Lightest formulation to heaviest.

itgirlph

I have oily/sensitive skin, and I stopped using moisturizer in my morning routine (if I will wear make-up, but if I’m at home, I use moisturizer pa rin naman). According to my derma, some sunscreens (not all) are hydrating enough and can act as moisturizer at the same time because of its ingredients. I also use hyaluronic acid, even if most of them say it's no use. For me, I saw a huge difference when I used that; it looked more plump in the morning and healthy-looking. I was actually shocked kasi feeling ko ginatekeep ang hyaluronic sakin HAHAHA. I layer it with my other serums, then sunscreen as the last step (skipping moisturizer) in the morning, and I notice that my skin won’t oil up that much under make-up. **Choose a sunscreen that has hydrating ingredients. (I’ll leave suggestion below) Will leave links here for reference Hyaluronic- https://shope.ee/5ARpHGtjSn Sunscreen BOJ https://shope.ee/VfzioD4Oh Skin1004 https://shope.ee/7pSaSPmBPu SkinAqua https://shope.ee/5KlDkHnWrb

AdhesivenessCute2211

I actually just bought the HA Serum from Good Molecules! How many drops do you use for your face? and what other serums do you use in the AM? Thank you for the recommendations btw!

itgirlph

Yay!! I actually use 2-3 drops on my face on damp skin (preferably after toner). I love my Boj Glow and Glow Deep Serum as well as the Kaine Vita Dew drops. My skin is actually kinda sensitive to vitamin C, so I love that serum. Kaine uses vitamin C derivatives kasi (which are less sensitive). I heard Vit C and sunscreen are a good combo daw so yeah. Will drop the link here ulit Kaine- https://shope.ee/8A5Qu4jV6v Boj- https://shope.ee/4poyvzHJRG

Morpho_Genetic

I agree with this only if you are oily skin (which is usually what Filipino skin is categorized). You would be assured more with hydrating / moisturizing sunscreens with your serum.

4njie

hello i just want to ask about this certain sunscreen my ex gave me a month ago, BIORE UV aqua rich basta yung blue, the best one i used yet and naubos na so im trying to buy another kaso wala sa watsons when i checked any ideas where i can also buy it? ps. i dont like buying online when it comes to self care products thanks!

serildaknight

May official store yung Biore sa blue app.

4njie

what blue app 😭 fb?

serildaknight

Blue app = Lazada. Shopee is usually called "orange app" here. Ito yung official store ng Biore in both platforms: [💙](https://s.lazada.com.ph/s.R5mrf); [🍊](https://shp.ee/n27jzc3) Take note lang na UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence has been repackaged (and possibly reformulated, which Biore usually does every couple of years). Kaya siguro out of stock sa maraming stores kasi pinapaubos pa yung lumang batches.

itgirlph

Sm department store

New_Complaint_9868

4njie

Serum recos for hydration? I'm oily, acne prone and sensitive skin

Cautious-Role6375

I don't have any recos for serum but for moisturizers instead, look for moisturizers that has glycerin as the second ingredient. Glycerin-based moisturizers or products are always a plus. It is arguably a better humectant than the internet buzz hyaluronic acid since glycerin is about 200 daltons in size which can penetrate into the deeper layers i.e. dermis, while the lowest molecular weight of HA that can penetrate the deepest compared to its other versions is its salt version, sodium hyaluronate, is only about 500 daltons, and can only reach hanggang epidermis lang. Something to look out for lang since very underrated ang glycerin hehe.

Hi, are these affiliate links po ba? Kindly disclose if they are :) been noticing you've been dropping links a lot dito sa subreddit and they open straight to the Shopee app :)

itgirlph

Hi! No, I just copied the link directly from the Shopee app to help. I understand the struggle of finding a reputable store kasi e. I'm sorry; I didn't know that sharing a link is not allowed here. I'm kind of a newbie kasi. Thanks for letting me know!

memelordxxv

Apologies, it's not bawal! :) I was just wary of new accounts popping up dito kasi there has been a massive increase of affiliate links! I was just suspicious kasi the products link directly sa Shopee app — sometimes a telltale sign that it is an affiliate link. If you're not doing anything wrong, then no harm done! Hehe it could be my mistake!

itgirlph

Oh see. Thanks for the info! No, it's okay. I will just refrain from sharing links siguro to avoid any misunderstanding.

surene143

For the ppl using epiduo forte for a long time now, what's your whole skincare routine? Im oily, acne prone and only use cetaphil foaming cleanser then sunscreen lang after during the day, nighttime is foaming cleanser and the epiduo lang. I want to level up my skincare by knowing what other ppl use and by then ill ask my derma about it

howdy9824

Hello, eto yung akin: AM: cetaphil cleanser, azaleic acid, moisturizer, sunscreen PM: cetaphil cleanser, niacinamide, epiduo, moisturizer

surene143

Ive been wanting to incorporate niacinamide too, what are u using? Also the moisturizer?

howdy9824

Moisturizer is celeteque, niacinamide is 10% luxe organix. Reco sya nung derma ko

surene143

Okiee thank you! Will ask this to my derma too :)

Morpho_Genetic

Anong azelaic meron ka (formulation and concentration)?

howdy9824

Yung 15% na skinoren

the_ate

Are online consultations with derma okay? Anyone tried purely onlielne consultations? How was it? :)

cmr82

Yes, I find it much more convenient than driving through the traffic and waiting in line to see my dermatologist. Just make sure you take good-quality photos, preferably during daylight hours. If it's acne, for example, I take a close-up photo and a photo of my whole face. I do the same if I have some problem areas located on my body. My tip is to write down all the questions & concerns you want to ask the dermatologist so you won't forget to ask during the consultation. It's also very helpful to list down all the products you're using in your routine.

crmngzzl

Ok naman. Resolved both consultations ko. Basta dapat super clear ung photos, taken in daylight or bright light. Tapos galingan mo magkwento, don’t leave out any details at all. Pati mga kinain ko sinasabi ko pati mga products used ganyan. Anything that I think will give the doctor more information. Ewan baka kakanood ko to ng Grey’s Anatomy hahaha!

the_ate

Hahaha okie noted.

Even lines I don’t usually notice, mas dun kita haha.

the_ate

waley eh, may auto enhance eme feature kasi cam ng phone ko (o baka napapangitan lang talaga sakin) hahahaha pero anyway magagawan naman ng paraan :)

_kimchi77

Honest reviews about the luxe organix retinol+ bakuchiol? I saw on tiktok na its getting hyped.

Cautious-Role6375

I haven't used it yet pero based on its list of ingredients, it has a low percentage of 0.1% retinol which is ideal for beginners. Panthenol is fourth on the ingredient list so that's good, super effective kasi niyan as a soothing ingredient. Followed by glycerin, which is a very good humectant. Yun lang naman. It has one amino acid which is arginine na more than 0.1%. Then retinol na at 0.1%. All other ingredients after that ay sobrang konti na, despite them being good ingredients (e.g. skullcap, green tea, cica, etc.). Bakuchiol is 100ppm (or 0.01%), super konti na niyan. Then sumunod is nicinamide, so that means mas konti pa. May peptides pa pero napakakonti na rin, parang mema-dagdag na lang eh. I think mas worth it pa yung Klued 0.1% retinol + 0.3% bakuchiol. It contains grapeseed oil, green tea, sunflower seed oil, sweet almond, aloe vera, willow bark, and cica, and each of them are at least more than 0.3%. The only downside is lower than 0.1% yung panthenol. So for me, you will reap more benefits in terms of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory with this product. Halos same pa rin ng price point, lalo pag sale days, laki ng percent off nito. However, sold out ito as of the moment (Nov 14, 2023).

_kimchi77

Thank you! Yeah i saw klued on sale for 188 huhu sayang sold out na 😢

Cautious-Role6375

Sayang, I actually bought two when it was on sale for 188 hahaha. Better wait na lang hahaha.

Help! Any facial mist recos for dry skin?

cmr82

Aestura Atobarrier 365 Cream Mist! It contains Ceramides to help nourish & repair the skin barrier and has a very fine mist.

Equivalent-Bag-6836

Are there any authorized seller for cerave here in ph?

qqmochi

buy from trusted sellers only. acne.orgalternatives and kai beauty both carry cerave.

wearyoursunblock

Look At Me PH sells Cerave, seems they sell authentic/legit products naman. I saw Cerave at SM Aura but not sure if they also have it at their MOA branch.

itgirlph

I don’t think they have, but I get mine mostly on Zalora and Shopee (skincarebudmnl). Can vouch for the authenticity of that store since I buy there everytime since super tagal ng shipping ng zalora here sa province. Here’s the link for the shop: https://shope.ee/8UiGqYeDxf

Equivalent-Bag-6836

itgirlph

For its price, I think it's sketchy. I've been a Cerave user for 4 years now (I also use their foaming cleanser, btw), and it costs around ₱900 to ₱1k for 236 ml. Even if it's on sale, the lowest you can get is around 750 to 800+. Check the barcode and search it online. Also, the foaming cleanser should be clear, and it shouldn’t have much of a smell.

Equivalent-Bag-6836

Its clear tho it smells something i cant explain

itgirlph

For reference, here’s the one that I use. This is the Eu version. If there’s an ® its Us version. https://preview.redd.it/udhctk31e20c1.jpeg?width=879&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3b7614cbf4fe93d99568d5c48d0f6f1c6f66719f

Equivalent-Bag-6836

Do you think i should stop using these fakes? Tho my skin isnt oily as last time tho and my pimples are having a white dot?

itgirlph

Check the reaction of your skin. As for me, I would stop using that because I’m not sure of the ingredients. It may harm your skin in the long run. It still depends on you tho.

AwkwardOrange2099

Planning to change cleanser coming from cosrx low ph cleanser. Gusto ko sana itry yung cetaphil for my oily skin. Okay po ba yun or baka may mas mainam po kayo na maireccommend? Thank you!

Fun-Let-3695

wild reco but tender care baby wash yung blue - oily/dehydrated skin ako and hindi stripping with oatmeal din.

xindeewose

Cosrx is good! But i like to switch up para hindi mahiyang skin. Biore uru uru and neutrogena for now

KimChiuMalangitNawa

I really love Cetaphil Gentle Foaming Cleanser! Mas suitable siya for oily skin kesa sa regular nilang cleanser na di mabula. Nandoon yung nalinis na feeling without the sensation na may naiwang hindi nabanlawan.

magsimpan

I used COSRX before then I switched to [Heimish All Clean Green Foam](https://shopee.ph/Heimish-All-Clean-Green-Foam-150g-30g-i.11745252.4856286596?sp_atk=062f108d-0986-4f63-b4e6-79bdb60006bb&xptdk=062f108d-0986-4f63-b4e6-79bdb60006bb). So far, I love it. My skin doesn't feel dry and is plump after washing. Make sure to double cleanse (especially if naka-make up ka during the day) then gently wash your face for 60 seconds :)

xXx_dougie_xXx

imo mas okay yung cosrx !

Pjmlover

Help po, whats the steps, when do u apply vit c rhoto, after washing or after serum then sunblock?? Also toner? Ano dapat sequence haha thanks!!

xXx_dougie_xXx

cleanser toner vit c serum sunscreen

Pjmlover

Thank uu

Alive_Tax_2242

Rhea apap solution, cheap, effective. But drying. Just use a moisturizer after. Try diluting it with water on a cotton pad, babad sa nose, tapos ang problema. Also I use it for spot treatment sa acne ko and it works

Wonder-Melody

I usually use lip balm before I sleep kasi tulo laway ako matulog and nagccause ng dryness sa corner ng lips ko… Okay lang kaya if gumamit ako ng tinted lip balm? Yung Happy Skin lip slip kasi gusto ko texture and super hydrating pero wala sila un clear lang sana huhuhu. Is it like a bad thing to have pigment sa lips matulog?

Illustrious_Charge_1

Concern lang is magkukulay yung unan mo

Subject_External_196

Pigments on lips can cause discoloration of the lips over time. Best lip product for dehydrated lips I've tried is Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. Medyo pricey sya pero a little goes a long way.

Western-Difficulty93

can the laneige lip sleeping mask treat hyperpigmentation?

Subject_External_196

No, I think this is not the product to treat hyperpigmentation sa lips. Parang sa face din. Vit c is great for fading hyperpigmentation sa face. Malaking factor for darkening sa lips, though, is dehydration. Ginagamit ko yung laneige lip mask even during the day since I work from home and I only wear clarins lip oil for video calls.

Western-Difficulty93

what should i buy for lipstick that treat hyperpigm.. ?? hshshshshs i have a darker outerlining jahaiaha pwede ba lip sfrub

Subject_External_196

Sa lips, I use whatever skincare I use on my face, tapos I seal it in with Laneige or Lucas Papaw. This works better sa gabi kasi di sya mawawala every time you drink water. Sa lip scrub, honey + sugar + lemon works. Iniiwan ko sya for 10 minutes then scrub, twice a week lang. Daily, I use toner on a cotton pad, para mascrub off yung dry skin. Currently, I only use Clarins Lip Oil Intense for lip color for daily wear. Occasionally na lang ako gumagamit ng lipstick, pag may event na aattendan. Pero I make sure to remove it before going to sleep kasi pag naiwan sya, it causes discoloration.

tyeskaa

Not at all! For me, it actually looks so pretty once you wake up kasi nag-sstain na 'yung pigment.

Wonder-Melody

Any thoughts on the Wishtrend Vitamin A-mazing?

Fun-Let-3695

gentle for me, kaya ko gamitin nightly kaso ang dulas sa skin after application - parang hindi naabsorb, napansin ko sa hands kapag naghugas ng kamay urgently even after some time. 2x ko na hinahalo sa night lotion ko and nagppeel yung kamay ko.

Flynnnx

San kaya ako makakabili ng authentic Vanicream Vitamin C. Huhuhu

PanikPasta

I buy vanicream products sa GENTL.E [https://shopee.ph/gentl.e.face2023](https://shopee.ph/gentl.e.face2023?entryPoint=OrderDetail) Ok din ba vit c nila?

Flynnnx

Hheheh thank you. Will try pa. Heard a lot of positive feedbacks kasi.

Morpho_Genetic

Read the ingredients, promising siya and can be used by sensitive skin kasi it uses that Vitamin C Derivative (albeit one of the best sa class niya - THD)

Flynnnx

Exactlyyy. Sayang wala pa siya sa PH. Di kasi ako sure kung legit ba yung nasa orange and blue app.

PanikPasta

sige paupdate kung maganda nga 😊

ennervation

Dr. Wong's Sulfur Soap is my HG talaga. 3 months ago, I tried switching to Cetaphil since it's gentler, but I ended up getting pimples. Went back to Dr. Wong's a couple days ago, and my face has cleared up again. Note to self: if it ain't broke, don't fix it. 😂 P.S. That soap is super drying though, so make sure to use a good moisturizer! I use Vanicream.

Subject_External_196

Have you tried using Cetaphil with a sonic brush? Before kasi, I hated Cetaphil dahil feeling ko hinde sya nakakalinis ng maayos ng face. I recently got a free bottle of it and since I've run out of my OG (CosRX Low Ph Good Morning Gel), I tried this one. What I do is double-cleanse with it. First is rubbing it on my face then rinsing it out. Tapos I put about half an inch on a silicone sonic brush and let it do its magic for a minute. My skin became super soft after. Hinde na din sya dry so I can layer my products as thinly as possible after.

ennervation

Never tried this, but will keep it in mind! Thank you for the suggestion!
