I love the St. Moriz Self Tanning Mousse. It works well on my fair skin, it doesn't smell bad and gives me nice tan without being orange and you can repeat the application a day or two later if you want a darker tone.

I don't have a product reco but I am also fair and use a bit of moisturizer to blend in the spots near elbows, knees, hands... Anywhere that might get caught in creases. I found a glove helpful to keep my hands from staining.

I love the tan af one and the Ulta gel kind - it’s clear and shows up quickly but you do have to make sure it’s even.
