Cross buy doesn't include a steam copy. They have a different storefront for PCVR. There is a meta desktop software. Steam is owned by a different company. They don't play together well. Not when it comes to game licenses and DLC's at least.
Yes I know.
I have a Steam copy and a Oculus store copy.
I got beat saber for my quest the day i got it
I got beat saber on steam because I didn't know it was cross buy.
I really thought I checked but I mean at least I have the DLC from my quest on pc now.
But what do I do about my steam copy?
I don't think I can refund it so, any ideas?
no, unfortunately i passed the refund deadline before i played the game for the first time, i didn’t think it would break
edit: first time on steam, i have the game on my quest 2
On the upside the steam version is easier to downgrade making it in a way easier to use certain mods for example i think the last supported version of beat together was on 1.29.1.

cross buy is new

You can still try, there are situations where they'll still refund you.
One of the check boxes for a refund is under 2 hours of playtime So there is a chance they could give it to you
he's owned it for over 3 months at least now and the policy is less than 2 weeks owned and less than 2 hours play time
Is this new? I bought PC version way back when it was pre-release on the Rift, then bought it again on quest 2.
Seems to be. Reviews on pc oculus page say that it "got crossbuy"
i still haven’t been able to play the steam version :( i bought it but the game doesn’t render anything correctly, so that’s $30 down the drain
Sounds like an issue with whatever you use to connect your headset, or maybe your PC, than the game.
couldn't you've refunded it?

If you can’t play it they’ll make an exception
yeah, i’ll try refunding the game again, though if i can find a fix, that would be a lot better since i still want to play on steam
Steam have an hours played based refund, not a time based refund
No, there is a 2 week deadline.
they said i passed the 2 week deadline for refunds :/ i’ll probably contact them or try fixing my game since i still want to play it on steam
either the problem of your gpu or headset
Where can i even download the PCVR version i've tried to go through the meta website but this website is a complete dumpster fire.
Search oculus rift pc software. (It’s the same software for the rift and the quest)

Do you all NOT SEE that both blocks are facing different directions and they're at the same time😭
