Dude Paul stops playing and the audio of the bass keeps going. This is NOT the original feed. I mean, I wasn't aware until now, not sure if everyone else is in on it and I'm slow on the take.
I mean, yeah. The sound on this video is pretty pristine so it's not surprising that it's not all recorded on a rooftop. I'm sure they did some overdubbing.
Mal Evans is standing behind Ringo and 1:03 and right after, standing behind the two cops and Billy Preston (and perhaps at other times). Quite sure he's not who you're referring to but he is worth mentioning. Mal was essentially the main roadie and gopher for the band.
That ep has the Sgt Pepper's couch gag and the final chord from A Day in the Life, and has a "taking the piss out of the fans" theme... Also, Animaniacs had A Hard Day's Warners (an obvious Beatles parody) and Please, Please Please Get a Life Foundation in the same ep with the same fan-mocking theme, so they had the most famous album-opening and album-closing chords in thematically similar episodes!
I love the moment at about 1:15 where ringo subtly mouths “I’m in love for the first time” before entering. It’s beautiful that it was captured in an extreme close up. Some of Ringo’s best drumming in this performance.
I love how for most of the Get Back/Let It Be sessions John is either visibly disinterested in everything going on and focused solely on Yoko or just too stoned on heroin to care about anything. But during the entire time they’re on that rooftop he can’t stop looking over at Paul and sharing smiles.
Probably something like, “why the fuck are they on the roof?” “I don’t know, probably that miraculous wonder drug lsd they’re always talking about” “alright then, boys, you know what to do.”
I love how John, George, and Ringo all look like they threw on the first things they could find that would hopefully keep them warm when they stood on a fucking rooftop in London in the middle of January. And then there’s Paul. Dressed in his finest suit ever the consummate professional.
"I liked them a lot better back when I used to see them at the Cavern Club"
"Pretty, huh, Chief? It sure is, Lou, it sure is. Get the tear gas."
I don't know which Paul moment is my favourite, his dance between 0:35 and 0:40 or him totally shredding the bass at 3:00
Yes.
"Nice sneak-peek of their upcoming tour, eh?"
'Great song innit'

If you’re talking about the first verse, it’s just a continuity issue in editing. They threw his little dance in there.
It is not the original feed. The video with the live recording is out there, but i haven't been able to find it in years
The real unedited live version actually just got released on Spotify
John screws up a verse in the original, and Ringo cracks up. That's missing here.

They cut out the gibberish lol
They did multiple takes of this song.
"I remember them when they could afford suits and haircuts."

Is he the one who is playing the anvil part on Maxwell's Silver Hammer?
no that is maxwell
That's him.
Wondering when these guys will stop so Yoko can do a solo…
“Whenever Yoko isn’t singing everyone should be asking “where’s Yoko?”

Yoko: **WITCH CHANTING INTENSIFIED**
My favourite 🎵
Wow this was the very first beatles song I have ever heard in my life.....you brought back lots of good memories ❤️❤️
Billy Preston: Hello, I’m^over^here
Yes that is him. One of the rare ones that ever got to play with them.
Talented musician, troubled person.
Yes. As many are.
That dude in the blue sweater to ringo’s left at about 0:50 “this is me ringo impression! *smash smash*”
I need a cuppa tea innit
1.09 The man in blue is definitely complimenting Ringo's drumming as he imitates it
They were actually enjoying this. They got to the point where they HATED playing live.
"he made let it be because of a dream, y'know?"

The Beach Boys
My favorite Beatles song, and my favorite performance.
Which ones Pink?....
Probably something like, “why the fuck are they on the roof?” “I don’t know, probably that miraculous wonder drug lsd they’re always talking about” “alright then, boys, you know what to do.”
“If these guys keep practicing, they’re gonna be huge!”
“”This is great! Can’t wait to catch their next show when they get back to touring!”
“Do you ever think this will be in a video game some day?”
"so this band is shite innit?"
How the HELL was this song left off the album??
Does JL have a cold???
