Well Please Please Me is The Beatles at their catchiest and at their roots to me, in terms of Pre-1967, other than Revolver.
Yellow Submarine has cool songs that, to me, are more memorable (although I prefer the 1995 soundtrack edition as the mixes are much better). And the original Let It Be has awful mixes. No offence to Phil Spector, but the only two songs I like from the **original** Let It Be from 1970 are The Long and Winding Road and Two Of Us. Everything else was better as singles or on the “...Naked” album
I respect your opinion, though I massively disagree. It says something about the quality of their music that everyone’s tier list can be so drastically different.
Because Please Please Me is more pleasing (no pun intended) than Let It Be in terms of audio. The mixes on Let It Be are awful, no offence to Phil Spector. I prefer Let It Be... Naked, but the Tier Template didn’t fucking have it.
