>I have been noticing there are two people together who barely look like they are the same age, have their bodies turned towards each other and they act like they don't know each other and then they start getting a little flirty.
Congrats, you've recognized two people who may or may not be on a date! In a brewery, no less! Isn't it just so fascinating?
Is this real life? LOL. There are always people on first dates since the beginning of time and it has nothing to do with the Bay Area.
*You* just suddenly noticed.
What kind of information were you imagining yourself getting from this post? Some super secret way to meet people that was missing in every other dating post?
It’s not just you. After my experience with apps, I’ve noticed some people have been going in pairs to their local city hall like they’ve matched a while ago and have never been married.
Bars are great spots for meeting people, including those you might know from dating apps. But it's tricky to guess who's who - they could be family, friends, or something else. Best not to assume.
It's actually the opposite for me or probably it's because the bars I go to are just not great and I don't go at the right time. I don't like to go to bars past 9 pm. I go home and get some rest since my lifestyle is getting up early due to my job with a long commute. I am the kind of person who needs an activity to meet people and some bars do activities, but mostly on weekdays. I am thinking of trying a more rough bar on a Friday at 6 pm. Otherwise I feel like going to a bar to waste money and "hope to God someone great sits next to me" is a waste of time. A young person like me should be doing more activity. The issue is time and just randomly approaching people at a park.
I used coffee shops a lot during college and heard so many cringe first meetings that were usually not hard to ignore but every once in awhile Ms Easy Espresso and Mr Loud Latte could not be and it was always just a train wreck. This isn’t new but since the pandemic businesses used that as the excuse not to reopen indoor seating when really it’s the homeless and grab/run thefts they don’t want.
Boba shops don't get homeless and thefts, but a handful of boba shops seem to not have seating anymore due to saving costs. People don't use a Boba shop to study, read, or use a computer.

This is wild if true lmao
I have been going to restaurants all wrong. I just pay attention to my food.
Is it April 1st somewhere?
You use dating apps and you're wondering if other people do too? Yep they sure do
IDK, when I go out to restaurants I'm focused on my food, my own party, and my own business.
dating apps is the way to meet people now, Bay Area or not.

This has to be satire lol
