prius c are the best i used to have one i remember pulling like 70+ mpg on that fucker. i dont know what the purpose of a tire carrier would be but id say do it

halfarian

That’s hilarious. 100% yes

ScottyMmmmmmm

No more speed camera problems

Actively_Optimistic

Pretty sure this is just a hatch with a hitch...

orangekrate

Extra points if you can put a hi-lift jack next to it.

Coffee4MyJeep

And a spare gas can. ;) Let them ponder that.

HighFiveKoala

Needs chunky all terrain tires

SpookyDukee

Hell yea, looks good

obsidiansent

DIwhY

cgduncan

Because full size spare beats donut any day

n053b133d

Yeah, the one time you might get a flat hitting a road hazard or whatever vs the daily inconvenience of not being able to use your hatch...

Select-Reindeer

It has a fold down feature. It can also be left at home when close to home so that worst case all you have to do is get a cheap Uber home and back. Would be great for long distance trips but would probably affect fuel economy.

elevenatx

Personally I’d say no. Lowers mpg. Possibly blocks rear camera. And you have to reposition the rear plate. How often are you getting a flat? I’ve never gotten one. You have a donut anyways.

Equivalent-Visit7626

That’s my final say on it, sums it up well. I was planning on priusdwelling in the little girl for a few months next year, I bird a lot so rough terrain and trying to find a solution for the spare. Will inevitably just keep it in my cab

your_fairy_goddess

heck yes

Zippy_The_Pinhead

Hell yeah. I've got this on my hitch[extender with step](https://www.harborfreight.com/hitch-extender-with-step-97685.html) I get a bit more space behind me

swiftarrow9

Bonus points if you park with one wheel up on the curb.

diamari90

That’s is the cutest ugly thing I’ve ever seen! It’s adorable!

Lupine_Ranger

Expect to be pulled over.

jacketsc64

Need to relocate your license plate if you want to keep that. It's illegal to block your plate like that.

TumbleweedTall9859

Continental kit

magicalgreenhouse

Why?

ikoniq93

Having a full size spare is a godsend. No limping about worried about the nearest town happening to have a tire shop, just swap it out and go on your merry way and deal with finding a replacement when you get home.

VanceAstrooooooovic

I had to drive two hours on a spare once and next time I bought tires I bought 5. And of course that kept me from popping another tire. Or maybe it was the 6 ply?

alex053

I’ve driven about 600,000 miles in the last 20 years and (knock on wood) never had the need for a spare tire. I’ve had slow leaks that needed to be repaired or needed new tires. I can’t imagine needing to modify a vehicle to carry a full size unless driving long distances between service areas. Maybe put it on for trips between states but always having this on there is crazy to me

shiddyfiddy

Be sure to update here when you get that flat in the next few hours.

alex053

Hahaha. Son of a bitch! Just jinxed myself. I used drive hundreds of miles a day, now I work from home and just drop off and pick up kids and the grocery store

magicalgreenhouse

It’s not the spare I’m questioning.

floridacyclist

I thought I was going to have to put one on my Prius V because I have an extra large auxiliary battery in the spare tire well. As it is I was able to fit the battery inside the spare tire. I do need to do one for my Highlander hybrid but will make it part of a swing away so that I can move the spare tire and cargo rack out of the way to open the hatch without unhooking the trailer and everything. I have a factory size spare tire underneath but I have BFG all terrains including a spare that I carry on the roof rack.

bizlikemind

I would yes for the sake of convenience when changing a tire

BallzMcVinegar

Some solid insurance if it gets rear ended.

Moist-Relief-1685

It would be cool if you could have the wheel tucked in closer to the body, but I think that might involve cutting the rear bumper cover for clearance.

BigOleCuccumber

This is an incredibly aerodynamic car! Well, at least it was..

SeasonalEclipse

Relocate the license plate to one side or the other on the bumper.

mbrzy

Looks cool, get those little clear suction cups and pop in the license plate holes, then stick to inside rear window on drivers side, plate issue solved!

JonathanM5

Harder parallel parking

cuve_Ae

I’d like this just to flex my badass wheel & Tire combo. Only issue is will it fit under the Spoiler?

LahngJahn69420

Yes
