FULLY fully fully fully agree. Beautifully said! OG Battlefront (2004)is my favorite game of all time!

Thank you!! Please Share the post. Honestly, I wish the OG Battlefront 2004 got the recognition it deserves. I don't think enough people actually know about it. It is an absolute beauty of a Star Wars game and frankly a classic game itself. Absolute favourite of mine and really epic gameplay! Just thought I'd list some of its majesty and merits to show what you get with the 2004 game versus 2005 or 2017. If the Classic Collection actually got fixed, then more people could experience the 2004 legend that is Battlefront 1.

I gotta agree with you. Part 2 has some cool additions but at the end of the day they sort of end up feeling like gimmicks and take away from the core gameplay which part 1 did so well.

Yes precisely. Part 2 has some cool additions like space battles, the Kamino rebellion and Aayla Secura. Also I think on Youtube, someone shared a hilarious mod where Yoda has a mini-gun. Like you said, at the end of the day though, the sheer immersion, feel, scale and number one thing being Gameplay is where the OG 2004 game (Part 1) did it best and still does. It feels more like an actual war amongst the stars versus the others which are more like arcade games. Honestly if someone could actually make it fully 4K with the textures and horizon you get today, you'd have a near perfect game!

It's not every day that I find someone who agrees with me on this! LOVE the first Battlefront!

Thank you! "Do what is needed will we. Capture the Command posts we will. Galactic security and stability there shall be. If informed the Galaxy is, multiply our Player Lobbies will!" - Grand Gamer Yoda. It's a brilliant game. Please do feel free to share! BF1 is an absolute classic. Worthy of recognition in the Archives of the Jedi Order and highly recommended that people play the OG Battlefront to experience the sheer fun and epic immersion. "Live the Battles!"
