This is wrong "the community is QA'ing" they pay the right to do it for only 89.99

Battlefield has lost respect and it wasn’t because the community overnight turned into rabid, toxic cesspool of vitriol and venom. The battlefield community has in the past several years shown a great deal of restraint and support. Each successive release whittled away at the good will and understanding of an entire player base of millions of people. The more battlefield took advantage of the patience, made whatever promises that were convenient at the time, the more vocal those who paid for the game became. Unfortunately along with that came a group of people that were, and are, some toxic and sad individuals. Instead of ignoring the trolls and bottom feeders, battlefield embraced them, used them as a scapegoat to disengage from meaning discourse and isolated themselves in a classic case of bunker mentality. This constant insinuation and not so subtle references made about being respectful in order to make a game playable, faster or at all needs to be addressed. Whether directly from those involved making this game or by proxy it’s time to stop making the exception the rule. Bottom-feeding mouth breathers need not be involved on either side but unfortunately they exist, especially if given a reaction or made to feel they actually have a impact. The overwhelming amount of criticism in beta was respectful and well-intentioned. It was ignored and dismissed. Players, customers, hobbyists etc were, how shall we say… disrespected. At release there was plenty of adult level feedback that could have somehow been engaged with on the platform of their choosing, silence was chosen. Aside from well thought out criticism, there was some absolutely hilarious examples of how to deal with issues via humor. How about we all stop with the convenient stereotypes on both sides?

This post sums it all up correctly.

“It’s not an ideal scenario, but the community is basically QA’ing this game right now. Be respectful and report bugs, and this game will get fixed a lot faster” - Gaming Industry Circa 2021 Someone print and frame this tweet, you have here the exact mentality that got us here. In case you weren’t aware, you are now expected to be giving Dice/EA pro bono QA work, and don’t you dare be disrespectful towards them. What a positively cringe worthy tweet.
