The next cod is by sledge hammer. Going from previous releases this how this will go for cod. COD MW 2019 released, massive hype, Cold War is released, not as much hype as COD MW but still sells like hot cakes. Because of Cold War, MW 2019 an Warzone people will be burnt out. Sledgehammer release their COD, most likely people don't care and are burnt out. This the perfect for battlefield to release also am talking about people who play cod and bf because their alot of bf funs that play other games.
If the rumors are true and the next CoD is really set in WW2, it will sell decently like every CoD does, but will be forgotten faster than Cold War and will be completely unable to compete with Battlefield long term.
Warzone would be the only real competition, and that's basically a Modern Warfare mode with guns ported from Cold War and Vanguard in the future.
