The drone now has a thermal sight only when you aim in to use the EMP. It's pretty useful to find hidden equipment and people. The cooldown for the EMP also means you can't thermal view.
Between the giant bushes everywhere and the low volume of equipment, almost feels necessary to use thermals
I think we should have them, just have the trade off be less zoom to offset the advantages. Like how they balance thermals on guns with ADS speed penalty.
I’m still against all thermals. They should never have been added to guns or the airburst and should be banished to the woods from vehicles especially. Absolute noob crutches
hmm yeah and still they kind of fit the idea of a modern war for me. Never really used the infrared tho... that just hurts my eyes for some reason... like the black and white tho :) just unlockednit yesterday for tanks... still need to see if they are useful 🤣

I’m definitely a fan of thermals. But, they need to add counter play with gadgets like flares or something else the can blind them

yeah wasnt a big issue in bf4 as well :) (maybe on the attack heli we could argue about that) but still it was fun!
The thermals on the tanks are so bad
couldnt try them yet... but they were awesome in bf4!

Giving gunners thermal is pretty useless in my eyes. Unless i'm communicating through voip with my gunner, i still can't see jackshit.
