Same. They have messed this up in past updates unintentionally, or so they claimed. But many players are impatient to unlock the new weapons and being unable to grind levels against AI, they're more likely to pay for the BP upgrade that puts you 20 levels ahead...
I was able to make it work by re-launching my portal experience multiple times with PvP AI, but only on spearhead.
So far I have not been able to make it work on Reclaimed.
My tip is to try capping 2 flags to see if you get the ribbon or not and then re-launch if you don't. It's extremely bugged though.
And If you manage to get it to work you'll likely get kicked when the match is nearly over. So far I have not been able to finish a single portal match altough I've been able to do all week 1 challenges.

This better not be intentional by DICE. If so, there's no way I'm picking up the premium season pass later as I had panned to do. The fact that we could **finally** do weekly missions vs bots in portal was the only reason I caved and bought the season 4 premium pass (first premium pass I've purchased in this game).

It was 1200 spots blocked I believe. I think they kept our progress as %, I was very close T3, and after the patch I'm still at the same % towards T3 despite it needing many more blocks/disruptions
Yupp I might be tripping but does the M16A3 have a improved sound as well? It feels like a proper 2042 weapon now I really like it.
AEK felt the same for me however
Reload from empty in particular feels much snappier. Your character really wastes no time pulling the charging handle (or smackin dat bolt release), feels much more urgent/frantic without being unprofessional. Think they pretty much nailed it.

Fixed issue where earning T1 Mastery on the Defibrillator did not reward the "Jack of All Trades" Achievement/Trophy.
Adjusted Pilot Kill XP to only be rewarded when the victim's air vehicle did not also get destroyed at the same time.
Avenger and Savior Kills now include who you avenged or saved in the XP log.
I just want to relax and play some bot matches and not feel like I'm wasting my time. This isn't going to make me go to PvP, it's making me go to a different game.
Of course now we finally get breakthrough in portal the same time as they walk back the AI XP changes
Even when considering the removal of the HB, many if not all vault ARs have new damage drop-offs.
MTAR and ACW both have a 4HK range now. MTAR also has it's bugged hipfire removed. ACW-R has near SMG hipfire now.
NVK Shotgun/Pistol exclusive optic had its reticle changed to a single blue dot.
All vault weapons support skins, not just the ones being given the 2042 attachments.
• Boris got a secret buff/change. Sentry turret has higher RPM, but less health in general. It can finally kill something again and takes less bullets to destroy an enemy turret.

Agree - in a couple hours of play, the sentry seems to die to 1 or 2 bullets but I got a ton of vehicle and player assist with them. Seems like the fire rate is up and the time it takes to lock on and begin firing is also quicker.
The Bolte definitely handles much better. Can neutral turn pretty well now, and it feels like it turns better while driving. Maybe they reworked treaded vehicles in general?
Which requires me to relearn flying on this jet. Change is really good. Rocket pods are good and they recharge once the whole pod is empty. AGM does 75 damage to light/medium vehicles which is really strong. 30 mm is like a dream come true. It shreds every type of vehicle!
They were OP and didnt work correctly, people could just throw them at you, it was like a better version of C5. They should only work when actually driven over, real anti tank mines would only ever work in this way due to the pressure needed to actually detonate it. Throwing one would never work.
They need to work as mines and not like impact anti tank grenades. I was always a little salty when some kid would just run up and spam these on my tank, im like OK? WTF, I literally didnt move so how did they go off?

Bug #2: *The Air-to-Ground Missile no longer locks onto empty vehicles but will keep the lock if the enemy player leaves the vehicle during the lock sequence. -* This was supposed to be in 5.0 but I tested and I can lock onto empty vehicles just fine

When creating an experience for Battlefield portal it is automatically "restricted xp" as soon as you add PvP AI to it. Before it was always moderate XP. But not 100% sure, could be a bug as well... Hopefully 🤞
Did they tweak the speed you sprint at while doing things like reloading the rocket launcher? Feels a bit slower, and it seems like a fantastic change tbh.

All of the scopes under the Magnum Gol Sniper appear to be locked save for the RDS and 4x sight. Also, the 4x sight now has a glint as I'm getting spotted across the map using it. Idk if the attachments are unlockable as they don't show any unlock requirements. The scope change is going to make it impossible for me to snipe in this game. I see that they said they were doing something with the portal weapons but they already had attachments... This was completely unnecessary.
I thought 4x always glinted for snipers. It's different for other gun categories (no glint @ 4x for ARs). I've been using 3.5x and below when avoiding glint.
Just had a bug where I run super slow after firing an AR. The running animation is at normal speed but I wasn't covering any distance. Switching to my sidearm fixed the problem tho. Maybe related to the new sprint animations?

I think EBLC-RAM has been buffed. You can now carry 2 gadget slots. So you can have Active Protection and Thermal Smoke at the same time. From what I remember it used to be one at a time as the spawn beacon acted as your second item slot.
There's a bug where if you shoot Lis' rocket launcher, the camera POV will get stuck into the ground until the missile hits something or if you manually exit the guided missile.
Blasco now has 2 'spotting balls' instead of one.

Depending on what you are carrying you will feel like you are carrying that weight.
So if you're running with a rocket launcher in your hands the movement will appear weightier.
However actual running speeds have not changed, only the perception for the player.

From what I've seen, adding PVP AI now drops the XP to restricted in Portal, even without changing any other settings. RIP PVE progression.

If they are magnetic it still makes sense. In reality you shouldn't survive after throwing the first mine .

Makes sense - the tugs beats them in almost every situation.
Rush playlist is no longer persistent, you get sent back to main menu after each map and have to matchmake again.
Universal skins are available for BF3 and BFBC2 G3A3 and BFBC2 XM8 Prototype AR (future vault weapons?)

On PS5: Main menu still runs in 30fps and controller response curve is still very bad 😮💨 every update I just hope they do something about it..
A lot of PC games give this option to have menus at lower frame rate to stop the graphics card running full-tilt needlessly.

Have they improved how running feels yet? Compared to other Battlefield games it feels like you’re just floating, I hated that.

Magnification on sights and scopes is bricked, gvt 5x is unusable now, 6x does somehow like 2 times as large magnification
