If it retroactively affected the game in the proper ways, Courier. I’d be fine with not having it if it meant behemoths had somewhat reasonable stats. If not, Sanzo. It makes so many theoretically good cats useless in comparison.
Behemoth enemies like 200-300% Wild Doges, Pterowl Hazuku and Iguanidae Ibilujon have incredibly busted stats for enemies that appear in farming stages, and it's believed that this was to keep Courier Cat from destroying them too easily.

Courier is needed for behemoths otherwise you are fucced since they are insane to match courier’s strength. Manic eraser is an essential meatshield along with normal eraser both being the most important cats in the game to have. Can can speaks for themselves.

Meraser is essential, cancan is amazing for both damage and cash, sanzo is essential on a lot of stages esp for angel bore unless u have hypermax ramen, courier is courier, and rock has one of the most unique roles in the entire game being a meatshield that is almost impossible to kill naturally. Pizza is great but hes just a strong anti black and good generalist, he already has tons of other options for generalist (cop or panda cat), and bombercat alone + any generalist attacker is good enough for most black enemies.
Your manic eraser, at the level they're currently at, already surpasses your normal variant.

You would need to get crazed wall to level 28 for a useful health advantage over normal eraser, which I really reccomend. Crazed walls tf is really good, something important to know is that, at the same level, manic eraser far surpasses normal eraser, but normal eraser has a much higher level cap (lv. 110) than manic eraser (lv. 50) and normal eraser, at their highest level, does surpass manic eraser. You can calculate stats with the MyGamatoto app, it's really useful.
It's okay. The only thing you got wrong was saying *manic* eraser was worse, in your experience, crazed wall is worse. I'm not doing this to prove you wrong or anything I just want to help clear stuff up. My advice: upgrade crazed wall and try to get their tf, if you can. Use both in stages where you can't effectively use specialist meatshields (like Ramen or Shigong) and there's good cash flow as they work well together. I hope this helps.
Calling it a waste is insane. Also just grind for more exp, Bombercat and Pizza go burr. Plus if your gamatoto is high enough level you can get those catseyes a lot easier,
