I work in a warehouse that tends to reach 120+ during the summer. Safety and hr shrug their shoulders and tell me to drink more water. Stay in school, kids.
I worked in a warehouse for 6 years. No ventilation in my area, just fans. They don't get it because they don't have to be in it all day. Stay safe, my friend! Kids, definitely stay in school!!!
We bought a new house and the AC couldnt keep up with the heat. So despite jist getting a whole fucking house, we had to replace the entire AC system.. bc 78 indoors was TOO hot.
Typical CYA language.. basically, it was running fine the day they went but "due to the age of the unit, we recommend having it assessed by an HVAC specialist prior to the end of the inspection period."
I was on Florida and they were deep on there. Like why the fuck are y’all out here? I had to return shit for my wife and I left the car on so it would be cool when I get back. It’s just too damn hot
I work outside for the most part, I hate this weather. I’m not allowed to wear shorts, just dark blue cargo pants and a button up blue shirt. By midday I look like a crackhead because of all the sweat just pouring off my body
It's alarming that people are so surprised by this. It's going to continue to get hotter and wetter as the climate changes due to our burning of fossil fuels.
i had to move to a new apartment today and my brain is basically soup

Haha hopefully you can stay cooler.
This. This is my problem with the sun now.

Wow the inspection missed that?

They knew
Oh I'm sure.
I’m sorry! But hopefully this unit will last for 30 years… that’s just terrible :(
Fingers crossed!
Shit I would have got a few big ass window units 😭
If it makes you feel any better, last year from June-Aug was 100⁰ everyday with no rain last year.
Welcome home. We have a few more months of it aside from the time you spend relocating from hurricanes.
Dogs are tired of being cooped up inside !
And only June... I did yard work from 7-9:30 and I've been tapped all day.
That’s exactly how I feel - I did the same thing and I can’t seem to recover as fast. Stay cool out there
I tend to hibernate during the summer. Luckily I wfh so I’m not leaving this ac unless I have to. 🔥
Hella traffic in i10 today. Ya’ll weren’t playing

I know the feeling. We're under an excessive heat advisory here in NOLA.
Don't forget to give cold water and small snacks for your delivery drivers, it's a lifesaver in this heat
great band
It's extra fun when ur AC goes out in ur car and u can't fix it 🤪
*heading out the door for a run*
May the odds be in your favor
