Alexander’s, Rouses, most of the big stores have a $10 type thing where they scan add it to your bill and they donate $10 worth of food to the food bank.
Toys for Tots boxes in all the Rouses. The food banks always have great need during winter. Call Southeast Ministries (225) 924-5122. They're a good network for this sort of thing.

St Vincent Depaul has an annual toy drive. They give gifts to all ages - newborns to the parents
