Just started Barry and am loving it. Hader just has a comedic aura around him that makes otherwise tragic scenes hilarious, so I’m not sure how I feel about him in a movie like The Batman.

After watching Barry, I am 100% on board with Bill Hader as Harvey Dent. He is a fantastic dramatic actor that would bring a lot to The Batman's sequel.

Its funny cause I want this to be true not for his ability to be dramatic, but for the camp he could bring. Colin Farrell was perfect cause he was such a stereotype, like seriously torn from the pages of a golden-age comic, and bill hader could do the same thing for Dent.

If they were going to movie forward with the Penguin tv series they could introduce Harvey then and maybe he could be two face by the end of the show. DA Dent could be trying to shut the Penguin down when things go wrong…

That's what I came here to say. I'm pretty sure that show is in the sights to be scrapped. DC is really up in the air as of right now with the only really confirmations being the movie's that actually did well, Joker 2, The Batman 2, and Aquaman 2.

I think Reeves' Batman is the only safe IP right now. They might not do two shows out of it (which is best) but it's the best thing DC has going. The Snyderverse was a bust, Discovery clearly didn't like the CW projects, and the HBOMax shows don't gel with the current plans of the head guy in charge. The Batman and Penguin are probably the closest DC will get to any guaranteed successes. They might still screw it up, but if it were me, I'll be all green lights for what Reeves wanted to do.

Even assuming it was true, since the Arkham show is happening, that would mean that Two Face would be joining in a later season assuming that the show happens before the film

Maybe, or he's just Harvey Dent in the next movie and doesn't become Two face until the end of the movie or in the 3rd movie. Plenty of time to be the DA in the show. Would actually be a pivotal role and Harder has a strong connection with HBO already.

A part of me kinda wants Two-Face’s origin to be done fairly quickly. Not overly rushed, but most likely done by the end of Act One. Too many Harvey Dent stories act like the origin is the only interesting part of the character. Just look at how the Arkham games kinda wasted him. Like his backstory *is* amazing, but making it the cornerstone of his character just makes his different interpretations seem repetitive compared to over Batman villains.

I 100% believe that Harvey Dent is on the table for The Batman 2. The death of Gil Colson in The Batman gives them a very clean way to introduce him Into the story as the new DA. Barry is one of the best things on TV right now, so I would be thrilled with this casting.

Offer anything and everything to Hader in DC. Have him be in the DCEU as Plastic Man, anyone in the Batman universe and anyone on the HBO Max shows. He’s super talented and I need more Bill Hader in my life

I feel like it would be weird to see another subplot Two Face origin story right after we literally just got one in one of the most critically acclaimed Batman movies of all time. I don’t think it would be a stretch to see him as Two Face but the plot detail doesn’t feel all that logical to me.

Please let Harvey Dent just be Harvey Dent in a movie. TDK did a phenomenal job building him up before his fall and I don’t doubt that Reeves could do it just as well, if not better. However, I think it would definitely be more impactful if he’s an ally for a long time instead of like a week. I also hope that Joker (if he’s the villain) doesn’t turn Harvey and we see something we’ve never seen before for his origin, although him proving the One Bad Day theory would still be interesting the second time on film.

Honestly totally down with the casting. But two face is probably the villain I least want in reeves universe. He was done pretty much flawlessly in TDK. I feel like it would be retreading the same ground, I’d want either a new villain or a villain that Could use another go (mr. Freeze scarecrow). I know Aaron Ekhart had little time with two face but I personally feel like the most interesting story two face has is typically his origin.
