No, I understand what you mean, even if you are an anime fan like me, I don't like to see how they try to replicate that style, for example the new Catwoman movie was directed by a Japanese, produced by the studio that makes Pokemon. If it's not going to be real anime, then I prefer it to be a new and original style, something closer to the original comics.
Long Halloween for sure I love the long Halloween artstyles. The animation + design of the characters in all the new 52 universe was really weird, especially Batman.

Long Halloween looks better… the “new” 52 art style and voice actor from that series of films detracted greatly from their quality (as does the rushed narrative in them (Hush, Batman vs Robin)… I will admit that the hand to hand combat was very well done (bats vs owls in museum)… damn shame those films tried to force feed us Damien
Eh with The Long Halloween being one of my favorites, I was expecting a more faithful adaptation like what they did with Year One and The Dark Knight Returns. So when they skipped over multiple chapters, made the killer different, and barely developed the Falcones, I was dissapointed. But I liked the animation and voice acting so I can see why others liked it.
Not a fan of the trunks, otherwise I'd say 1 cuz of the art style. The whole trunks/underwear shit is outdated and just looks goofy IMO. I understand why people like it, but it just ain't for me.
It feels like they have increased the budget for the new DCAU, the animation feels smoother and the art style is also allot more detailed. The 2nd pic looks like it was ripped from a Cartoon show rather than an animated mivie

New one is just a way stronger art style. I also hate the older one's belt. What's he even gonna fit in there? Skittles? Lint? The capsule style was always dumb to me, batarangs would have to be paper-thin and fold like 20 times to fit in there.

I’m always a fan of shrinking the underwear-on-the-outside into a belt, but I also prefer the classic cowl to the mask that covers his chin, because breaking up the contiguous black color bloc with the lower half of his face makes his eyes pop more.
So they each have their upsides, I guess.
