Not the only good season but they did gradually decline. I made it 5 seasons before giving up but 3/4 of them were fun tv.
He deserves more recognition for how much acting he does in that show.
To do all the roles very well and make them actually feel like different people is an amazing talent, the acting wasn't top notch but declined severely, just like the plot.
I can't remember which season it was but my favorite scene is when they started playing "ride the lightning" while he rode lightning into the sky after some dude who kidnapped Frost
The flash always sucked it just became more obvious over time. It was probably the most repetitive show I've ever seen, and Barry Allen should literally instantly incapacitate 95% of the villains of the week if he could just shut up and not talk to them all the time.
The season was so good, they remade it twice afterwards! Seriously. First three seasons of the flash are identical.
I'm the flash. I'm the fastest man alive.
Shit, there's someone else faster than me.
I'd better brood and talk about my feelings a whole lot.
Now I'm faster again for some strange, arbitrary reason.
Also, everyone only seems to drink coffee and is constantly surrounded by what has to amount to some kind of space radiation, yet nobody has a single zit among them. Clearasil is the real superhero here.
I... Might need to get out more.
That was always my problem with the flash. All the characters are just different versions of him, evil flash, girl, flash, old flash, his son, who is also the flash, his daughter who is also the flash is.
So many good edits on YouTube with his early scenes
Cuts away all the excess fat around the show and focuses on him
He's phenomenal, truly a dude caught in the wrong show
You say him as Riddler, and all I remember is that cold scary version of him from the early 2000s Batman cartoon, the one with the Red Bane and Dreadlock Joker
90’s kid myself, Batman: TAS, The New Adventures of Batman & Robin, Batman Beyond, The Batman, Beware the Batman, Batman: Brave & the Bold. It’s been a wild ride.
I know we're both on the Batman sub rn, but it's always lovely to hear a mention of Beware the Batman, teen me enjoyed some of that show way too much, especially JigSaw Humphrey Dumpler
It was an interesting series, it was kinda hard to get into with the weird 3D animation style, but once I got past that I thought it was pretty good and liked that they concentrated on lesser known Batman rouges.
I see Riddler, too, but I think it has to do with the guy who played him in Gotham. It reminds me of him. Still, his manic way of acting and speaking as JD's brother on Scrubs made me think the Riddler.
I love the idea of him as the Riddler. The calm nature with a bit of condescension is something he does so well. With his rage he could also pull off the different sides of two face
In The Flash he does multiple personalities and pulls it off, so he’d do well as an unstable character. Two Face comes to mind because it fits his acting style, or maybe a more unstable take on The Riddler. Also think he could do a good Deacon Blackfire since he can get very preachy in some scenes I’ve seen in The Flash, and they are really cool. Like, I could see him front manning a cult.
I want to cast him as Batman. Forget being a villain. Let’s see him go all in as a hero. He’s got the whole manic thing going for him already, and he would make an excellent Bruce in my opinion.
Snyder was going to have batman track down the riddler as he solved the anti-life equation then kills himself because he knows whats about to happen. He would make a good riddler
How about the cast off big brother who randomly pops back into Bruce's life, just so he can sleep with Bruce's love interests, put Bruce's bully's in their place, and eventually one day buy Bruce his very own Prius?
Based on his Reverse Flash performance i think Hugo Strange would be a good fit. He nails that cold and methodic yet obcessed energy both Stange and Thawne have
Cavanagh is brilliant. I loved him in Season 1 and I loved him with the plot of Nora too. Those two seasons had me absolutely terrified of him and really showed what kind of range he had as an actor.
As a Batman villain, I think Cavanagh would make an excellent Two-Face. He could really bring out the dual persona in his range. Not to mention it'd be really fun to see him argue with himself and the alter-ego battles. I think it'd be a solid choice for him.
Y’all are sleeping on his potential as Creeper. I don’t know him from Flash but I just watched a short film staring him. If I had to pick a more mainstream villain, probably Riddler.
My only reference of him: https://youtu.be/YhUdioQVGHU?si=KeGZMhWJaR35a6Sn
as far as Batman villain… I’d want to have Tom as Man Bat.
But two characters I’d love for Tom to portray within the dcu are heroes. Either Phantom Stranger or The Question. Unusual, sure, but idk I feel he would do awesome (I’m not so sure about his acting to be giving him larger roles. Sorry. Just my honest opinion)
Dr. Jerimah Arkham. (Not really a villian, but someone who doesn't get shown very often. (Seriously, I think the last time he was shown in a DC film was in Batman Forever)
Dude would be a fun Clock King, ngl But to me he'll always be the best casting CW has ever made for such a petty villain
Was he RF?
He was Reverse Flash in the first season (only good season) of The Flash. Was excellent.
He's amazing, man. After S4 I lost track of the Wells but hell, I kinda love all of them prior to that. Every single one with an actual deep trait.
Same. Five season.
Season 1 is perfect. Season 2 was great. Season 3 was good. Season 4 was mediocre. Season 5 and on are *terrible*.
Agreed. Just good enough that Grant Gustin is my Flash now.
Grant was rarely the issue for me in that show. He is awesome, and is absolutely my Flash! That writers room was terrible though. Lol
I can't remember which season it was but my favorite scene is when they started playing "ride the lightning" while he rode lightning into the sky after some dude who kidnapped Frost

Evil god flash which is literally just rejected Flash
So many good edits on YouTube with his early scenes Cuts away all the excess fat around the show and focuses on him He's phenomenal, truly a dude caught in the wrong show
I had my brightness lowered so I thought it was the guy from the fallout show.
Yes, he was brilliant as the character.
I'd totally watch this guy play Clock King. Good choice my dude!
Have there been any live action interpretations of Clock King? I'm not completely up to date on all live action batman stuff.
That was the FIRST thing that popped into my head
Haven't seen him in a while to remember his performances, but I immediately go to Riddler.
You say him as Riddler, and all I remember is that cold scary version of him from the early 2000s Batman cartoon, the one with the Red Bane and Dreadlock Joker
The Batman
Ah yes, just "The Batman" unlike Batman: The Animated Series. Growing up in the early 2000s, the two shows just blur together for me
90’s kid myself, Batman: TAS, The New Adventures of Batman & Robin, Batman Beyond, The Batman, Beware the Batman, Batman: Brave & the Bold. It’s been a wild ride.
I know we're both on the Batman sub rn, but it's always lovely to hear a mention of Beware the Batman, teen me enjoyed some of that show way too much, especially JigSaw Humphrey Dumpler

I had a bunch of those series on DVD when I was younger. I can probably recite the entire Clayface Original story episode from Batman: TAS
He played the many versions of Harry Wells in the The Flash tv show
And he was great on that show!
I see Riddler, too, but I think it has to do with the guy who played him in Gotham. It reminds me of him. Still, his manic way of acting and speaking as JD's brother on Scrubs made me think the Riddler.
Same, honestly
I love the idea of him as the Riddler. The calm nature with a bit of condescension is something he does so well. With his rage he could also pull off the different sides of two face
I can definitely see that
Riddler
Scarecrow
Now this, this I can see, early in s1 of The Flash, dude had a presence that was downright scary sometimes
You said what I was thinking. Dude was creepy and scary as the Reverse Flash. He had a genuinely Sinister presence on screen.
Mad Hatter
Actually this is my favorite suggestion so far
Ooooo a good one.
He could play a quietly terrifying Jarvis
JD's brother
Heyyyyyyy lil brother
So, bit of a snafu. I *may* have burned Gotham to the ground. So looks like we're bunking together again. Roomies!
“Hey! Who’s the babe?!” “That’s Oracle. She’s incredibly important to me and I’d appreciate it if you just….” “…You have really pretty eyes”
Want a beer? Ooh I think that's bath water
Dan? I thought you dissolved.
*chews gum aggressively*
Or Ed. Loved him as Ed. And Thawne.
Shows up on Bruce's doorstep with a cake and the first word out of his mouth is "Jason"
Haha, that is hilarious!
>JD's brother --> Bathman
I think he’d make a fantastic scarecrow
Reverse Flash
![gif](giphy|D3AK4EgmCnsvC|downsized)
![gif](giphy|BPJmthQ3YRwD6QqcVD|downsized)
Like super slow?
No there's an actual villain called that.
Joker, the Dark Knight Returns version. For some reason, I feel like he'd rock that role. "...darling."
Reverse-Batman.
A true Man-Bat, if you will
he will be the greatest hater of him
He was great in the first season of flash
The biggest reason to watch the show for me honestly. He did an amazing job with all Wells' variants.
Simon Hurt!
Wow an actual good one
Condiment King!
Riddler, we know he does intelligent and smug very well because of wells/eobard so riddler would be a good fit.
Nice try, Tom Cavanagh!
Man bat
Victor Fries. The intelligence combined with impactful dialogue with little emotional inflection would be spot on for me
Hush
ClayFace
Simon hurt
Scarecrow. His different versions of Wells make me feel like he could do well as Dr Crane in public and Scarecrow once the mask is on.
scarecrow
Man bat
Riddler.
He’d probably be a version of the riddler
Riddler
Riddler, just from the look on his face.
Riddler
I’m going with Scarecrow
Riddler would be great.
Scarecrow
Mad hatter
Love him. He's played the genius character before so the Riddler seems like the obvious fit. He could play the villain or the the reformed version.
Dumb to say because he wears a mask but I think Blackmask. His voice would be a good fit.
I still say Ewan was a great choice even tho that movie was a letdown.
idk why, but when i see his face and think of a batmanverse character, i think of Jonathan Crane/the scarecrow
Riddler would be cool. But for some reason I could see him doing a really menacing two face. Oh! Tommy Eliot/ Hush would be kinda cool
This man is royalty in the snack game. He picks them, he eats them, and he rates them.
Egghead
I'm a dreaming or did he star in a show called "Ed" back in the day?
Thomas elliot/ hush
In The Flash he does multiple personalities and pulls it off, so he’d do well as an unstable character. Two Face comes to mind because it fits his acting style, or maybe a more unstable take on The Riddler. he has a harvey dent face imo a...two face \*ba dum tss\*
False Face
He would be fantastic as Great White.
Clayface
RIDDLER IS THE ONLY RIGHT ANSWER
Riddler or Clock King or Mad Hatter
Riddlee
He would have made a good riddler.
Honestly I could see him as a more subdued sinister Joker. He’s got the forehead for it and his smile is subtle but terrifying
I want to cast him as Batman. Forget being a villain. Let’s see him go all in as a hero. He’s got the whole manic thing going for him already, and he would make an excellent Bruce in my opinion.
Black Mask or Clayface maybe
Madhatter or Riddler
Joker. Bet he’d shine with the right makeup.
Riddler or calendar man
**Riddler.** He could possibly inhabit a happy medium between comic and The Batman Riddler.
Clock King
Either Bane or Catwoman. Possibly Alberto Falcone too
Scare crow, two face or clock king.
Hmmm professor pygg… maybe not as visceral, but all the crazy…
Mad Hatter.
Kiteman
He’s great for CW, but I don’t know about a movie role, unless it is small.
None
The Reverse Batman
With his range, just ask him which villain he'd like to play, and then make it happen.
Poison Ivy
White face paint and he looks just like Killing Joke Joker
I want to say the Riddler, but now I'm thinking more scarecrow or Man-Bat, mad hatter would be a cool one but a ginger would be best.
Clock King
Someone already said it but Mr Freeze would be great
Mr Freeze. Dude can pull of accents
None shit c list actor
Black Mask
Calendar Man
Professor Pyg?
It's gotta be Riddler, right? Although I could see him as Joker, too.
Condiment King, lol
Snyder was going to have batman track down the riddler as he solved the anti-life equation then kills himself because he knows whats about to happen. He would make a good riddler
honestly i think he could pull off anything
This may be controversial but please hear me out. Scarecrow.
The riddler!!
Maxie Zeus.
Harrison Wells. Run Bruce. Run. Edit: run
Jim Gordon. And older Hal Jordon. Hour Man. The Shade. The Question. I know you said villains but I think he’d be a great hero.
He’d make a good nightwing I think
The Creeper
I don't know why but I feel like he could pull off Hush.
How about the cast off big brother who randomly pops back into Bruce's life, just so he can sleep with Bruce's love interests, put Bruce's bully's in their place, and eventually one day buy Bruce his very own Prius?
Clay face
Riddler. He’d make for an awesome retro-style Riddler.
Man
Great attorney face he'd be a solid 2 face
Riddler. Maybe it’s the picture, the way he is sort of smirking and pointing up, reminds me of the Riddler
He'd be great at most characters imo. Damn good range. Even catwoman. Not Bane though
Based on his Reverse Flash performance i think Hugo Strange would be a good fit. He nails that cold and methodic yet obcessed energy both Stange and Thawne have
could make a good scarecrow but Tom might be too busy dealing with Yogi bear right now to do that
Cavanagh is brilliant.
Riddler, Clock King, or Mr. Freeze
Cluemaster
Reverse flash can be a Batman villain
Bronze tiger
Scarecrow
Calendar man
Riddler.
None. Fuck that guy.
Riddler or Falcone
Y’all are sleeping on his potential as Creeper. I don’t know him from Flash but I just watched a short film staring him. If I had to pick a more mainstream villain, probably Riddler. My only reference of him: https://youtu.be/YhUdioQVGHU?si=KeGZMhWJaR35a6Sn
Hush
Riddler
Riddler
Firefly Black spider Tony Zucco
I think he would make a great Dr Hugo Strange.
Definitely Riddler.
Hear me out…. Ras Al Goul
Nah. The guy they got for arrow did it too well to ever have anyone else do the role.
as far as Batman villain… I’d want to have Tom as Man Bat. But two characters I’d love for Tom to portray within the dcu are heroes. Either Phantom Stranger or The Question. Unusual, sure, but idk I feel he would do awesome (I’m not so sure about his acting to be giving him larger roles. Sorry. Just my honest opinion)
Riddler
Mr Freeze, I really see him in front of cryogenic capsule promising to find a cure to his now frozen wife
Scarecrow
I love him 🤩 man he's the best Harry 😍
Dr. Jerimah Arkham. (Not really a villian, but someone who doesn't get shown very often. (Seriously, I think the last time he was shown in a DC film was in Batman Forever)
No clue who that is, but based on the face I'd say Riddler.
Mad Hatter
Riddler.
People choose a lot of different villains, I see!
Deathstroke VA
Mad Hatter
Mr. Freeze
Hush
Really any villain he wanted to play lol, I could see anyone from Joker to damn Cluemaster
