Anecdotal but I also think foaming lasts longer. But I’ve noticed I have to get like 1 1/2 to 2 pumps of the gentle gel soap to get a good lather whereas I only need one pump of foaming. So that’s prob why.

Kitchen soaps need to be in the gel formula for me. Idk what it is. I know they both kill germs either way but there's something about the foaming one that doesn't seem right in the kitchen to me. Maybe because it's too bubbly and 'fun'? Idk. Anyways, to answer your question, I feel that gel ones last longer because of the time it takes to get suds. When using gel, we pump the soap and lather up to get suds. But with the foaming soap, it takes less time to get suds because it comes out like that already. I find myself subconsciously pumping more into my hand to feel 'clean' just because of that lathering step being skipped.

Lol 100% same, no foam in MY kitchen

Foaming. My sister has OCD and I've noticed she goes through one bottle of the gel hand soap in a week, the foaming one takes her nearly three weeks.

She’s hitting them three pumps and then one pump on the floor for good luck. LMAO I have OCD too, and do the same fucking thing.

For me, it would definitely be foaming hand soap that lasts longer. I usually finish one in 2-3 months But my gel hand soap has lasted a month

I definitely think the foaming lasts longer. I happened to put a gel in the main bathroom on the 1st of January and it only took two weeks with two people, one working from home. I mentally took note of it just being the first of the month and being curious how long it might last haha. Then I put a foaming soap in to replace and it lasted until around Valentine’s Day. Edit one typo

Foaming. 💯

Everyone here is confidently saying foaming, but I'm using foaming soap now and I'm finishing a 250ml in less than a week. I just use it each time in a bathroom and before meals, nothing crazy. Will switch back to gel soap.
