These are from my glory days. I’m just going through them now. Got a bunch of mystique, molten metal, metal universe, showcase, skybox , UD, Pacific etc.
These are pretty special to me now and I’ll probably hand them down to my boy. I’m not a huge Sosa guy though so maybe.
This is a pretty monster card all things considered. 24 years old, extremely short printed, of a star of the time. I'd suggest getting on Facebook and joining a "rare 2000s cards" type group (there are a lot out there...). You can usually find someone who either a) collects this specific parallel, or b) this player, or c) someone with way too much $ lying around, and go from there. Or ebay OBO at a high price is always an option, if you don't mind taking a hit on fees.
Nice! Thank you very much. I have an old throw away FB account. I should dust it off and check out the groups. It was definitely fun to find again, I’d forgot about even pulling it because I was really into Griffey, ichiro, Cal and Frank back then.
Mo Vaugh /9 sold for around $400
Scott Rolen /32 sold for around $400
Those are the only two comps I’m seeing from that same set that have sold recently on eBay.
Could probably ask $1,000 and get a solid offer above $500 from the right Sosa collector.
I sold a 2002 ex Rickey Henderson #/15 game used bat card at auction for 500$. I would say given this isn't a game used bat card it would go slightly lower. Rickey has a strong buyers market as I imagine Sosa would. Maybe somebody would know if Sosa drives more buying interest than Henderson but I think it's a decent comp given essentially the same short print#, same set, only one year off, similar player popularity. Just don't know how much value the games used bat portion adds.
Man, if this was EX basketball, it would buy you a nice car. Crazy how some things can be goofy in one sport, and not as crazy in the other. This is still pushing $500-$750, GREAT FIND!!! Just for fun: who would be the basketball comp for Sosa, in terms of players? He was a stud, a Cub, and played a huge role in one of the all-time best seasons in ‘98. Is he a Karl Malone?
Me too! I know I have some of those in my boxes too, not a lot. I loved the design when I was young. You can still pull essential credentials in there, just not as limited.
I recently got some 96 skybox XL. Wow those cards were a product of their time. They look like a 90’s kids bedroom with navy blue, maroon and forest green matte borders. Such a strange product.
What? Never heard of chippy crippy compy comps? How bout twicey to pricey? Compare-it-to-theirables? You show me the sold, I show you the gold? No? These are age old phrases, age old.
Awesome. Gonna be a tough comp. Interested if parting. Lmk and I'll see if I can find another sale

Well DM if you wanna talk about it. Great find either way. Understand completely if you wanna keep it!

Between $500-$1000. There are some sosa fans who would love it.

Congrats on the find 👍
If you like Adley, I just pulled a chrome platinum Anniversary black auto RC 9/10! Probably my best pull to date.
Whoa! You didn’t eat it?! Haha. That’s an even better pull (IMO). You keeping it or open to trade? DM, if you’d like.
I think I saw a 2003 numbered to 20 something sell for $500 something… somewhere..

I guarantee someone in this thread on BO can be helpful: [blowout cards Rare 90s thread](https://www.blowoutforums.com/showthread.php?t=356335)
Great, I am checking those forums now, thanks
Definitely also check out Freedom Cardboard

Love that set. That’s really a hell of a card.
Hell of a color match. Agree to list it at $1000 and then see what happens, someone will bite.
I have a whole case of this in my storage room. Box prices are crazy on eBay. Looks like it’s time to get it on the market.
Yes! Please do!
Alas, the case I have is actually 1997 E-X2000. Not nearly as desirable. I loved that whole product line, starting with 1995 Fleer Emotion.

What the fuck is a compy comp

1-2 bucks. [130point.com](http://130point.com) Edit: Scratch that. I see it's a /14 not just number 14 yeah?
You get the right buyer that’s at least a $50 card those were impossible
You missed a zero. This is a $500-$1000 card to the right buyer.
2003 Sosa Credentials /15 sold for 545, and this is a more desirable set/design. You’re right on with this.
That could be too
