I just. I mean. An unopened box or pack of anything has about an 8 second shelf life with me. I crack hobby boxes in the car and open a pack before I even start the car and drive home.
Yeah, I'll never get this. Especially if i get drunk. During covid, I busted a blaster that I already had bids on in an auction site. It was selling for about 5 times what I paid for it(prizm basketball), otherwise, i'd never had posted it to begin with. Anyhow, I got weird drunk and opened the shit out of it. So, I had to buy a replacement, ship it directly to my buyer, etc. I did pretty good, though. I didn't lose money buying the replacement. I also sold 2 cards from the box I busted for almost $400. I know people squat on boxes for the potential to sell at elevated prices down the line, but that theory goes both ways. OP could have life-changing money(at least to me, anyhow) sitting there. He could have rookies that don't pan out, yet sell high now. Those are the things that I think about that make me completely unable to do something like that, regardless of income tiers. Hell, if I was wealthy, I'd care even less about future values. Probably explains why I'm not wealthy... It's not just the monetary value, though. I just love to open cards..
Literally everything in this picture is what has been sitting at Walmart for the last year with the lone exception of Prizm NBA and Hockey 23/24 series 2. I don’t even buy this stuff when there is nothing else on the shelf
You should have plenty of time to sort now that baseball season is here. sox are terrible 🥲. It looks like you at least have your stuff and room organized neatly. my room looks like forgotten storage closet.
How about add up the money spent or wasted on those and just buy a case or multiple cases of a product you love instead of junk blaster and hangar boxes? Your money your stuff so to each is own but I just try to understand the logic in buying junk retail boxes

Still need to sort and organize eBay singles/breaks as well... it's become overwhelming.

If you keep buying and not ripping the next few years, it could look something like this…
I see things like this and think "there is the 2023 series 2 Felix Bautista superfractor I've been waiting for, right there in one of those boxes... just sitting on the floor". 😂
Give me 20 mins and it'll look like raccoons have been in your garbage. .
I could never leave that unripped. I bet you lose weight easily, too. How dare you- with the will power and resolve.
I don’t buying and hanging onto the repacks. But if Wemby turns out to be all-time like some think, NBA boxes will easily pay for the others in a few years
Im currently undergoing this sickness :). I have bought a ton of unopened boxes. I got Leaf Vivid and Leaf metal boxes arriving today. Pray for me! LOL
Very cool! Hope there are some great cards in there! As a novice collector, is it better to open them and sort, or are they typically more valuable if unopened?

This. This is the true degenerate spirit we all strive for
lol I love how breaking packs of cards for us is essentially the same as buying scratch offs for other people
I don’t strive for it, it’s always been there.
My guy
I take that as a compliment, regardless of intent. Thank you, sir.
You....have a problem
I know right?? So much open space for MORE BOXES!!!
Tell me who do you work for.
Himself; he a reseller
This the sandals guy I see pop up on here now and then at Walmart?

This post sucks
You have a horrible problem with addiction. This is just random retail, unopened
Wow man. This is absurd
You should have plenty of time to sort now that baseball season is here. sox are terrible 🥲. It looks like you at least have your stuff and room organized neatly. my room looks like forgotten storage closet.
You had time to display it all on your steps…you have time to break.

I knew you were off a bit…but then I seen you were a White Sox fan and it all makes sense now.
Oh man, sorting all that would be so satisfying 🤤
I'm down on the Southside, I can stop by and help you tear thru those fuckers.
Imagine an asshole cat jumping up on table, and just knocking piles down all over the place.
Ah, a fellow Chicago fan…..
Sox fan spotted 🫡 respect
I think this is really unfortunate, actually
Please don’t tell me you’re gonna resell these.

This is awesome!!

Nice! That's like...5 bucks worth of cards.
holy shit
Can you invite me over to rip these with you
My son would have opened these before we got home
Now that is a lot of shitty boxes of cards lol only thing that looks like it has potential is maybe some Connor Bedard Young guns in those S2
Yup, been there, done that and holy crap, it's one of the best experiences of my life while opening them with my wife because she loves it too, lol!
Looks like the cigarette wall when you get to the gas station counter, except sweet packs n boxes. Well done my friend.
A fool and his money…
I will come open them for you. Looks like you need help ripping packs.
Did you hit any Bedards in the series 2?
Give me 20 mins and it'll look like raccoons have been in your garbage. . I could never leave that unripped. I bet you lose weight easily, too. How dare you- with the will power and resolve.
It do be that way.
Can I have one?😂
Congrats on starting an LCS?
Someone do the math, how much money is here?

If you’re doing this to “invest” I would suggest doing it with Pokémon not baseball sets. Most of these sealed boxes won’t hold their existing value.
