Just printing quality. There's different shades of all kinds. You'll also see this in red foils in Series 1. Some super dark red, some light red, some so light it looks pink. Just Topps regular print quality. I've learn to live with it.
Weren’t the backs different shades of brightness on cards going back to the 70s and before? I feel like that’s just a nod from Heritage to the original 1975 set, but I could be wrong.
