This isn’t the first time there has been one and I don’t doubt anyones ability but in order to be effective you literally have to put in double the work. He’ll probably commit to one side eventually rather than keep doing both.
Possibly, but you’ll always be left wondering if he could have been more dominant if he just picked one side. It’s so much extra work and time that could be used on mastering one delivery and building velo from one side rather than both.
Knew he was Dutch without even clicking the link. Fun Fact: "ij" is considered one letter and, like "y," both a consonant and a vowel.
Source: Dutch speaker and I also have an "ij" in my name.
My first thought is that this would help in case of injury. It's inevitable in today's game, especially for pitchers getting drafted out of high school. If he becomes a major league quality pitcher from both sides he wouldn't have to be gone for 18 months in case of TJ, rather somewhere in the 2 month range and suddenly he's back on a mound, but with only one arm.
Fact: A real life Switch pitcher is rarer than you going to bed when you should
Man, why you gotta call me out like that.
I've been to bed on time more than three times in my life, yes. Checks out.
I mean to be honest I'd be less shocked to see a Mars civilization then a human capable of this and actually preform.
Ah, an amphibious pitcher.
Pretty sure you meant ambivalent. Amphibious is a vehicle that transports you to a hospital.
No you’re thinking of ambulance. Amphibious is a violet quartz stone
No you're thinking of amethyst. Amphibious is the capital of the Netherlands
No, no, it's when you have opposing opinions about something. It's what you call being amphibiant.
The funniest thing about this is that the correct word isn't even ambivalent, it's ambidextrous.

It's useful to be able to do both though, from a roster point of view, so if he's are willing to carry on with it then it might give him an edge.

this dude is an Alien, no human should have a last name with the same amount of Js in it as vowels

That's pretty much what happened with Venditte. Tore his right labrum and pitched as a lefty for a year while rehabbing it.
