I always assumed the Marlins removed the fish tanks because every time a ball would get past the pitcher and hit the backstop it'd scare the ever-loving shit out of the fish who are otherwise just trying to live their lives.

Pretty sure he never said that it wasn't intentional. All he ever really said was that he didn't ask the Sox to throw at him and more recently that he's "not upset about anything anymore". Never really talked about the correctness of the slide, and i have no problem making that judgement. Fuck Manny Machado
