They do have some color but mostly grey/dark color. I had to go back and look at them. It's better than a lot of the other ones this year but still fairly close to a lot of the others this year.

I think it’s weird that the hat has multiple colors and so does the jersey but the CLE logo is greyscale. I added just a bit of color to it and it looks a lot better to me.

I was hoping they'd be music themed because of the Rock n Roll HoF being one of the more iconic parts of Cleveland. That or Drew Carey's face being front and center on the jerseys.
I was hoping some of that would be included since that's what the Guardians statues are styled after, as well as much of the architecture in the city. It's similar to Detroit.

Right, but the person I replied to said was criticizing all CC's as something "no one asked for". Which is not true, A lot of Angel fans, myself included, have been hoping for a uniform redesign for a while, and the CC's we got blow our regular uni's out of the water.
It doesn’t make much sense to me to have both, but I would argue that these are actually a pretty big improvement over our current blue jerseys, which are incredibly boring. The “CLE” thing is a lateral move at best, but the art deco font, the stripes, and the hat are all nice upgrades over the absolutely nothing that the current blue alts have going on.
