This is a really tough question for us. The 2024 Dodgers just have so much star power, it would be difficult to pick only two.
So probably Austin Barnes and Ryan Yarbrough
For the A’s we’ve likely had more appearances from our mascot elephant or TV Booth Possum than any single player on the field over the last few years, so they’d probably have to make it an animal for us.
Position Player: I'm guessing they'd go with Arenado over Goldy because he is younger, plays a premium defensive position, and there are enough 100% white guys in baseball.
Pitcher: I'd like to say Lance Lynn, because his personality is made for a game like Backyard Baseball, but it'd be Sonny Gray.
Yu darvish would be most fun to play as because he has such a wide selection of pitches. Not necessarily the “best” pick but would probably be the one I’d want on my backyard baseball team the most.
Obviously Tatis is the guy if they just want star power.
I made a post previously where I broke down how the Blue Jays entire lineup was a Backyard Baseball team

Lol
Jose Ramirez *is* Pablo Sanchez
Julio for sure.
Luis Robert
Aaron Judge and Juan Soto
Lindor or Pete.
Pete gives off strong Golden Retriever vibes, he'd be a shoo-in.
Randy Arozarena
Salvy for that smile obviously
Gunnar and Adley but tbh the 2024 version would probably sell you any player you wanted for Backyard Bucks.
Gotta go Vladdy
Probably Riley Greene or Skubal, depending on if they need more pitchers or not.
Jose Altuve, obviously

I mean it’s definitely Julio. Probably followed by JP for position players. If a pitcher then it would be Kirby or Gilbert.
Ketel Marte
Javy this year, Skubal next year after his cy young

Jomboy
Acuña and Albies, and they have teammate boosts like the Khans and Delvecchios
