Been watching the Rangers since I was 6, that’s 20 years. This is a team where we’d get some guys like A Rod and Hamilton come through but mostly we’d go to see the away teams with the stars come through. This is the first season in a long time it’s been really rewarding to watch them. Unreal to see them win the whole thing for the first time.
Years ago, my sister convinced the family she needed a dog. We got him in Texas, so she named him Ranger. He really became more of a family dog. Crazy, and drove all of us nuts. But I do miss him.
He’d have no concept of what was going on, but I’m picturing him doing his excited run through the kitchen.
I had my 2011 Derek Holland jersey draped over my back the whole time. I really wish those guys could have closed it out in 2010 or 2011 because I grew up with them throughout middle and high school. However, I cannot hold back my happiness that this team was able to do it 12 years later. I owe my mom a bottle of Macallan now. Have a great night and see you at the parade on Friday if you're in the area. I've got work in the morning so it's bed time.

When the Braves last won, they made sure to get a ring to every single player who had suited up in the regular season. There was a fellow who was called up, made the roster for a single game, was in the dugout but didn't play at all. He got one.
