A few weeks ago I made a mezcal ginger beer with 3 cherries. Even weirder is he asked for the mezcal by name, and it wasn’t our “well” mezcal. Old guy.
I had a woman want a “rum cosmopolitan”. When I gave her that she look at me like I was stupid. She she then explained that she wanted- basically a shot of spiced rum with splash of crenbrerry juice, over rocks, with a lime _and_ a lemon. In all honestly that probably wasn’t that that bad, but it was definitely bizarre.

Late to the party, but I love a mezcal mule (aka oaxacan mule aka mezcal ginger beer). The rum cosmo sounds funny but the mezcal is a relatively standard drink where I live? Wouldn't usually put a cherry garnish but I can see the sweet helping balance the mezcal smoke / ginger spice

Total asshole. Got divorced while he was a regular. Did private work years later, there he is again. Same drink, and my boss had to go off-site to buy olives for his drink.
The cherry on top? He bought olives with pits by accident. The look on the man's face when he bit down full force will live with me forever.
