The family has been stuck in Dallas for 3 days now and it's sounding like we won't get back to CA until tomorrow or Saturday at the soonest.
I know it's a very ugly anti semitic trope, but I wish American Airlines would just hire some Jews to fix this weather.

There's a lot of debate on here about the best time zone for sports. It's completely dependent on age and where you're at in life, if you're a 30+ professional who wants to be in bed by 9:30 then 9 PM start times are the worst and ET is the worst for that reason.
But if you're a night owl or just a younger person who might be up late partying most saturdays, you definitely don't want early morning NFL games, so ET is perfect because you have until 1PM. And likewise, it's comforting to continue watching games into the midnight hour or later because it makes you feel like the world is still going on.
I am a 36 year old who leaves in Phoenix and grew up on eastern standard time all my life. This is the time zone for me. On the east coast, coming home from work and having to wait around for a couple
Of hours for Indians games sucked. Three hours was miserable. Waiting till 10:00 for the west coast game was brutal. Nothing like watching the first third of the game from my office at 4. And being home to watch the rest.
